History

Established in 2001.

S2 was started in 2001. Sam Stair started S2 working out of a spare room in his house in Milwaukee.

Sam’s customers appreciated how he didn’t try to over sell them on products and equipment that was over kill for their businesses.

Lower cost, dependable computers using software designed for small businesses, was the core of his business.

S2 grew over the years and in 2011 acquired a larger competitor to grow the business and open it’s 1^st office on Lincoln Ave.

Sam had bit off more then he could handle. Combining two companies is a challenge and employees from the new company quickly realized they could take customers to other businesses and make more money then honoring non-​competes during the turmoil of a transition.

S2 moved to 9730 W. Bluemound continuing to support their existing clients as well as new clients with honor and integrity from the tumultuous merger.

S2 knows what it is like to struggle to build a business.

Business Owner

Sam Stair graduated from UW-​Whitewater with a Degree in Management in Computer systems in 1998.

Sam Started at Engage Networks which provided Network aware energy management products to companies. Sam work with IT departments at Hyatt Hotel, McDonalds, M&M Mars and others to integrate devices into their networks.

Sam was recruited at TCC in Waukesha into a tiny new startup division to support TCC AS-​400 clients with new Microsoft and Novell networks that were all the rage in 1999!

During this time Sam Completed his Microsoft Certified Network Engineer Certification the highest certification in the industry.

Sam started S2 Technologies in 2001, sub-​contracting for TCC and other small business client.

Sam has a Son and resides in Hales Corners.
