I am so happy with my decision to trust KC with my skin! I am in my early thirties and I unfortunately did not take care of my skin during my youth. I started noticing brown sun spots just below my eyes about 2 years ago. I tried everything from rubbing lemons all over the spots, to purchasing very expensive cream and nothing worked. When I met KC, I told her about my spots, she suggested that I try a chemical peel. Again, I am so happy that I trusted her and her expertise. I completed six treatments with KC and my spots are 98% gone! I am 100% pleased with the outcome and I am happy that I invested in my skin. The biggest comment that I’d like to make is that if you are interested in a chemical peel or any other treatment, listen to what KC has to say and follow her instructions! She knows what she’s talking about! She suggested that beyond the six chemical peels, that I also complete an in-​home treatment every night and I believe that helped the spots disappear even quicker!
Beyond the chemical peels, I’ve also had a microderm facial by KC and again, I am very pleased! I’ve had many facials in my life and I feel like KC really takes the time to address your specific needs and skincare issues. She doesn’t just go through the motions. KC is a professional.

I had a facial done by KC at her new location today — 11 702 North Ave. Oh my goodness. I travel for a living and do not usually have time for relaxation and pampering. However, that’s exactly what I got. Calming music and lighting, that were in no way pretentious, was just the start. Paraffin hand wax, soothing foot massage, face and shoulder attention followed as well. What a value! In addition, I did get the facial I went in for — including product available after with detailed information on how to properly use the products. I’ve had troubled skin for a long time, even dermatologists couldn’t help me get it right. These products are good for sensitive skin and I left feeling refreshed and clean. Whether looking for yourself or a gift, Skincare by KC is a great choice. I know she does additional services as well, and it’s easy to get there and enjoy yourself — highly recommended.

This was my first time getting a facial or a wax and both were phenomenal! Most guys don’t typically pay too much attention to their skin and I am definitely one of those guys. My wife had a facial with KC and had a great experience and thought I should give her a try for my first facial and back wax.
Up first was the waxing. I thought it was a terrible idea when my wife first approached me, but after a little convincing from a few guy friends, I decided to go through with it. KC made me feel extremely comfortable by being upfront and honest with me about the experience. She explained that it would be a little uncomfortable but no too bad. She was so right! It really just felt like removing tape from you arm. Not bad at all! And the time it took for her to do the entire waxing was under 30 minuets!
Next was the facial. I had no clue what to expect but KC made me feel so comfortable with each step of the process. She took the time to educate me on my face, rather than just provide me with the service and send me on my way. The best part of the facial was probably the steam massage that went along with a mask. It felt like I was in an 80’s rock video with the steam all over my face, and during that time, I got an unexpected free hand massage! Overall the facial was really refreshing and I would totally do it again.
My overall experience was outstanding! KC made me feel so comfortable with the whole process and I will definitely be seeing her again!
