Tayo Day Spa

As a last minute birthday present to myself, I decided to have my legs waxed. I was surprised to get an appointment for the next day with Valerie. She made me feel very comfortable while did an excellent job waxing my legs. I will be returning and maybe I’ll try a massage as well.

I went here with my mother in law and wash very nervous about getting my first «spa day» but i called and they made me feel at ease. This place is really pretty when you walk in and they really do know how to make u feel relaxed. Right away they offered me a snack and beverage, and were really sweet! Hands down best experience! definitely coming back!

Decided last minute that I needed a massage and immediately came to Unilocal for help. Tayo is one of those places that I always pass by, hear about, etc but hadn’t experienced myself. I reached out to a friend (who always check in via facebook) and she told me a massage from Luz was the way to go! So I checked out their website and it was incredibly useful! Prices right there on their service page and a way to book an appointment via online. Within 5 minutes I was booked for an hour long massage with Luz the same day. Got to Tayo and Luz was there, getting the room ready with a questionnaire for me to fill out (allergies, muscle sprains, broken bones, major diseases. protocol) and I also mentioned that I hold a ton of stress on my shoulders, neck and upper back. Luz was amazing. Not sure if it was because I specifically mentioned it, or if it was just in her normal hr long routine, but I felt she got every single knot out from my shoulders/​upper back area. I was SO GOOD and LONG OVERDUE. & the best part, they’re totally affordable. I’m definitely coming back!

I loved my Massage! I had never had one before and I slept like a baby! I felt so much better after and Luz has the most amazing hands. Its a Watsonville gem. Its affordable and so worth it. I decided to make it a monthly thing! Cant wait to try out the other services they offer!

For Mother’s Day my daughter really splurged and bought me the facial and massage package
I have to say it was the best facial I have ever had from Valerie and I have been to Palm Springs, Hawaii and Sonoma top end spas.
The aroma therapy was exquisite and Valerie never left the room real value added she massaged my scalp and neck gave my hands a paraffin hot wax while the hydrating masque was on
Then I got to have a deep tissue massage from Luce what an angel she is so intuitive really helped with the tendinitis and knotted muscles she is a gifted healer
I will be back as soon as I can fit it in my budget
Oh and even though I said I reserve five star rating for the Four Season etc in my last post the facial and massage here is better so bumped up to five *****s

I love the massages here but today was my first prenatal massage. I wish I had been getting them this entire pregnancy! It’s such a wonderful gem in Watsonville. I love supporting this local business :-)

I looooveee Tayo Day Spa! Julie is wonderful. She is so friendly and professional as well as her staff. I have been coming here for about 2 years for brow wax. I moved away to Sacramento for College and I have yet not found someone who waxes my eyebrows like she does. I make sure every time I come back home that I get my eyebrows done at Tayo Day Spa before I go back. I Recommend this place!

I had been working the night before and noticed a pain and discomfort on my lower back, I work graveyard shift so I was thinking all night of calling and wanting to get a massage the very next day. After looking on their website what time they opened I decided to call in the morning and leave a message to set up an appointment and see if they had any availability since it was last minute. I left a message very early in the morning and by 9:30 in the morning Luz returned my call right away giving me the time she was available. I was impressed of how fast she got a hold of me. Later when I arrived to the spa she was so nice and made me feel comfortable. The massage room was dim and had a relaxing scent with beautiful soothing music. Luz ‘s massage made me so relaxed. I enjoyed the full hour and will deffinately will be coming back

I purchased a groupon for Tayo which was due to expired on Dec. 7^th. I called on Dec. 6^th before they opened and left a message. Never heard back so I called again on the 7^th. She told me I would have to pay the difference with not a friendly attitude. I did call before it expired. And considering that the 8^th had all morning appointments available I would figure that they could have fit me into an appointment sometime on the 6^th or 7^th. We set up an appointment which she agreed to honor the coupon. I arrived 3 minutes late with the same not so friendly attitude from the girl I spoke with over the phone. When I handed my groupon to the woman it was reminded to me that it was a late groupon. Funny thing is I did call before it was expired. Technically it was not late. Again, did they really not have any available times all day on the 6^th or 7^th? So before the massage they had me fill out paper work with questions like what do you do for a living and do you exercise?! This took about 4 minutes which went into the hour massage. I was then in the room ready for the massage however I had to wait 5 minutes before she came in. The massage was done and I looked at the time and she stopped 7 minutes before the hour was over. So I received a 40 — 45 minute massage. Needless to say I am very unhappy and would never be back.

I had lash extensions done here and they were a great value — less than $ 100 which seems pretty unusual. Their other services, like facials, waxing and massages are also a really good value.
The staff were very friendly and professional. I wish it were closer to where I live, I’d definitely go back and try other services there.

They actually moved two doors down from the old place. Now the place is more private and cute.
I got a facial with Julie– who is amazing.
I also had a massage from Luz– she is the best! I have never been so relaxed from a massage before.
They have reasonable prices, and very friendly.

I have been coming to this day spa for years. It is super cute and all the girls there are super friendly and good at what they do. It is a peaceful atmosphere and you feel relaxed when you walk in the door. I have done waxing and make up there and have never been disappointed. I have and will continue to let people know about Tayo.

Loved it! I went with my coworkers for a retreat day and it was amazing. I usually don’t think «day spa» when I think of Watsonville. I was very pleasantly surprised. We each had the balance package (think that’s what it was called). We had massages, foot scrubs, facials and more massaging! The spa is lovely. The staff was very professional and paid attention to details. I truly felt pampered! It’s a bit far from my home but worth the drive.
