Classic Vintage Rentals

Horrible, horrible communication. I initially emailed Tracy (the owner) wanting to place an order. It was all laid out — I had made my selections from their inventory on the website, listed it and the listed price in a bulleted list in an email. I didn’t hear back from Tracey promptly at all so I called her the next evening. She told me she would look at the email and get back to me the following morning. The following morning came and went, and it wasn’t until the day AFTER she told me she would get back to me that she finally did. We sent short little emails back and forth twice that day, and the last email I sent was asking for an invoice. I was ready to place the order! This was on a Sunday. But she never replied. So I emailed her again on Thursday, checking in. Still, nothing. I called her and left a message the following Monday early-​afternoon asking for her to get back to me. Shortly after leaving the message, I received an email, not a call, with the words «Thanks for the reminder!» and then she told me she would send me my invoice as soon as she got back to the office that day. It’s now Wednesday night and I’ve heard nothing. I have not received any kind of an invoice. I’m extremely disappointed as my wedding is a month and a half away and we took the time to browse their entire online inventory and chose all the most perfect pieces for the Big Day. At this point, I wouldn’t be comfortable placing an order through this company even if I heard back tomorrow — their lack of promptness and thorough communication, along with not following through on their words and timing, make me anxious to trust them with my money and the fine details of the décor for my wedding day. So, so disappointed. :(
On a side note, the brief communication I received from Tracy through email was kind and cheery. So sad this didn’t work out :(

Tracy and Classic Vintage Rentals absolutely MADE my wedding. We created an 80′ table for a big, beautiful Italian dinner. It would not have had the same effect without her gorgeous tables and chairs. We also rented a bar, a dessert table, china, silver, napkins, adorable vintage dessert plates, glasses and more. It honestly would not have been nearly as impressive + beautiful without her furniture and her keen eye for style. I HIGHLY recommend Tracy and CVR.

Tracy was a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly when we communicated via email or in person. Her inventory of vintage furniture is UNREAL! I was blown away and had such a hard time deciding which items I wanted for my wedding because every piece was beautiful. Her son delivered the furniture to us within the specified time frame and we had no issues. Everything with Tracy flowed smoothly. I would definitely recommend her to brides wanting beautiful vintage pieces.

Too far from Portland and Tracy wouldn’t deliver to my venue. When I drove to Camas the day before my wedding she had forgot about my order. I left and used another business. Thank goodness I found someone else to help me. I don’t usually post these Unilocal things but this was a pretty big mistake. And extremely stressful for me.

I was the wedding planner for a friend this summer and we called upon Tracy at Classic Vintage Rentals for some settee furniture, props and a few tables. Not only did she and her team arrive exactly when they were supposed to, they were greatly helpful, stuck around to help set up, and were there promptly at the end of the ceremony to pick up the items. Tracy is the nicest, most accommodating person and she works really hard to make sure that you are as happy as possible with your rental. Her items are affordable and truly unique. I can’t say enough about this company and I hope that more brides find them as they are a fantastic resource for inspiration. If you want to add a unique touch to your day, call Tracy! Tracy was so accommodating and kind! She had a very sweet disposition both in emails and in person. She and her husband worked very hard to make sure that my big day was stress-​free and very enjoyable, not to mention absolutely beautiful and perfect with all of her lovely rentals! She contacted me many times before my wedding to check in to be sure I had everything. With so many things to organize, it was very helpful to work with her when she was willing to check in, send reminders, etc.
