Update: we finally made it back for dinner last week and stuck with burgers. They were ok, but we ordered both medium and they were overdone. The service was good, but dinner and a couple of drinks set us back $ 85. A little pricey for the zip code.

Good selection of craft beers, and our server was decent. I got the crab cake burger which was supposed to come on a brioche bun. It was the same bun as my counterparts at the table. Came with no house tarter sauce like advertised. When I did get the tarter sauce it tasted like they chopped a full pickle and soaked it in mayo. The meal came with a full pickle so it was basically like I had two pickles. Crab burger was dry and lost in the huge bun. I will give it a second chance based off the beer selection for this area, but skeptical of the food so far.

Average food. Stick with the ‘bar’ food selections — pizza or burgers.

Quite disappointed in my experience here. We showed up at 1 for lunch, only to stand at the«please wait to be seated sign» for about 5 minutes(in which time we didn’t see a single bartender, waiter, hostess, anything)! In the meantime we looked at a menu which said happy hour started at 2:30, so we decided to leave and give it another go in an hour or so. When we came back, we were promptly seated, but informed(after our waitress asked 2 other people) that happy hour does NOT in fact start at 2:30 like the menu says, but at 4. We were frustrated but our waitress was nice enough so we decided to just order some small plates off the lunch menu. My friend ordered bacon macaroni and cheese which was supposed to have bread crumbs and other toppings. She ended up getting some simple penne pasta with cheese sauce with a few pieces of bacon haphazardly broken up on top. I got a half sandwich, half soup combo(French onion and chicken, apple and brie), both of which were tasty. Overall, the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and they have SO much potential, but I couldn’t believe how disorganized and mediocre this place was.

Nice addition to the town. Calamari was very good however you get very little for the price. Wings were good as were the salads. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will definitely be back!

I’ve visited a few times with friends. First, we sat a table and had an amazing meal. I got steak(which came with a delicious side salad) and it was amazing! the waitress was friendly and informative and very attentive! The next time we came in we sat at the bar where we were also very satisfied with the selection as well as the bartender. We even had a round outside at their boat bar which was pretty sick! I’m looking forward to going back again — and think I will for that open mic night they have during the week! check it out people!

The food here is just OK. Everything is cooked nicely, but undersalted and tasteless. Beer list is impressive but overpriced. I did think the interior was classy and the waitstaff was lovely. I might go back in a few months to see if they’ve improved their flavors at all.

It’s a really nice bar, especially for the area. The food is good and has a good presentation on the plate. A little highly priced in my opinion but still good. Good variety on the menu! My only complaint was that we went on St. Patricks day and they had an entire irish band going on and it was pretty obnoxious. Literally so loud that it hurt your ears! But hey, I respect their holiday spirit!

Awful. Eat before you come. No idea how to cook beef. Everything raw which manager said was medium. Great beer though. Poor waitress. We tipped her well as it wasn’t her fault the cooks and manager suck.

Awesome food and tons of craft beers on tap. My whole group was pleased with everything they ordered. The menu is definitely eccentric — I loved the unique items and delicious beers! Service was great too. This place is great considering its in(what feels like) the middle of no where!

Funny story(condensed) — I met my friend at the bar, he bought us a round his beer was $ 10 and mine was $ 12. Let that sink in, Brooklyn Stout $ 12. Doesn’t make sense. Be a bit more reasonable, you don’t have to recoup the nice job you did with the place all in the first year. Also, they haven’t figured the food out yet– mind you it’s beer almost 2 years. Decent wings, but there really is nothing else on the menu worth ordering and it’s more of a shame than anything else. I’ve been quite a few times and been nothing but disappointed, all they need is some simple food and struggle with what they put out. I really want to update this review soon and say they’re turning things around, but as of today their service is not knowledgeable and inconsistent at best, their food isn’t worth stopping for and their prices for craft beer are way out of touch.

My review is solely based on my experience at the bar area inside. I will say the outside area looks amazing and I imagine is a ton of fun during the summer. I had the Draught burger and a Samuel Adams Octoberfest. The beer was alright and I normally wouldn’t get it but since it was happy hour I figured why not. The burger itself was a little undercooked for me and very greasy. The barbecue sauce was really good but nothing about the burger really made me want to get it again. The fries were cooked perfectly, nice golden brown with a good crunch to them. This would be a good sports bar to watch a game there with some buddies and grab a beer but I can’t imagine ever wanting to eat here again. For the quality of the bar, food the price just isn’t quite worth it to me. They do have a large selection of beers but I’m not paying $ 8 for a craft beer or $ 4 for a Lager. That’s crazy to me.

Update. Still crappy. Wait staff and management full of excuses. Concentrate on the food and the service instead of a tiki bar in the winter

I see a lot of mad reviews about this place complaining that the prices are more«Morris County» than Warren County. After looking at the menu I can see why. The food is great, but the prices are a bit too high. It doesn’t have the«Warren County» vibe that previous owners of the location used to have and that is a tremendous improvement. If you want to have a nice time and money isn’t much of a factor then this is the place to go if you live out here in the boondocks.

The Draught House brings the crafted beer trend to central New Jersey! Lots of IPA selections and a really knowledgeable bartender. The ambiance is a slightly dressed up saloon style eatery with a large bar area and plenty of seating in the dining area. Nicely appointed neutral dark woods in a casual setting. Good for both the blue collar and office crowd. The food is about what you would expect from a bar & grill. Burgers are good … entrees are a work in progress. So why the 4 stars? The service! Service was excellent. We had a bartender who upsold us in the best possible way … by getting us hammered! He was very knowledgeable about the crafted selection and knew his styles and brands and fitted them well to his customers tastes. He also got us to try Not Your Father’s Root Bee … a hard root beer that was amazing! Finally our waitress was friendly and chatted us up comfortably without seeming either pushy or rehearsed. She was genuinely friendly and engaged with her customers, enough so so that it put a shine on the place. I’d like to see the food catch up(and exceed) with the bar selection. Really the only thing that was keeping it from being a 5 star selection for me. Price was comparable for the area.

I feel like Draught House is getting the short end of the stick with these reviews. My husband and I live just down the road from the place, and we were SUPER excited to have what seemed like a nice sports bar opening so close to home.(There’s really not anything like this around here.) We went within the first few days of opening, and were very disappointed. Bad service, mediocre food — everything the negative reviews are saying. But we wanted to give it more of a chance, and came back quite a few times in the coming months. I’m really glad we did! The service has improved, as has the food, and it’s becoming a nice local bar. The burgers are good — my husband can attest to the regular burgers, and I’ve enjoyed the veggie, portabello, and seafood burgers — and the apps are too. I’ve heard good things about the pizza as well. There’s a great beer selection, and I like the deals they have during football season.(I wish they had deals on apps at that time too, as things can get a little pricey if you sit and watch a game with both food and beer…) They do still have some improvements to make. I wish the hostesses were a bit more on top of their game, and that the servers remembered to ask about drink refills more often. You can tell this is a new-ish place, but things are getting better. I’d hate to see it go under, as we really need more businesses like this in the area. Another reviewer mentioned that it’s important to remember that we’re in WASHINGTON, NJ — not NYC or somewhere else more populated or affluent. I totally agree. Considering other bars in the area, this is the best we’ve got. If Warren County dive bars are your thing — awesome. But it’s great to see other options coming around too.

Yuck! Went here for a private event in a private room. Quaits were laying all over the floor as were bean bags. Floor was very sticky and ants were on the floor. An ant even crawled on me while I was seated. I refused to eat anything. Oh, did I mention the piece of broken glass by the bar area. I should have known it would be bad time when I was walking in. Through the window I saw a bartender doing a shot with a customer. I will never go in this place again! I wouldn’t even give it one star if I didn’t have to.

This is a fantastic place to get lunch or dinner with a group. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I went with a group of 10 people, and every appetizer and entrée was completely devoured by the end, and everyone was satisfied. Everything is delicious here. You can’t go wrong.

A little harsh on the reviews here! Stopped by here after skiing one night, place was full but not packed, we got a seat for 4 right away. Great beer selection, seemed to be a lot of people sitting at the bar. Food — everything we had was really good. I mean, it’s not like you’re eating in NYC. You are in Washington, NJ, and in respect to that, the food was very unique and tasty. We got the jalapeño and potato pierogies which were great but not really that spicy. Also the buffalo chicken fries which were a little too soaked in wing sauce but still good enough that we finished the whole thing. For entrees, I had the white pizza with the goat cheese and spinach. It was surprisingly really good. Thin crust personal pizza with enough to take home. My fiancé had the burger which also tasted delicious, and our friend had the pulled pork sandwich which she really enjoyed. The only thing I really didn’t like is that when we ordered our entrée, our waitress asked«chips, french fries, sweet potato fries, or waffle fries» not noting that anything other than chips was an added $ 1.00+, which I find pretty rude. Service was a little slow, but you have to realize they are still working out the kinks. I would definitely give it a try, but based on reviews it may be a little hit or miss, so maybe give it two tries :)
