This place was dirty. I waited 30 mins at least for my massage. Was insanely overpriced for what you get. I honestly want my money back. Highly suggest not wasting your time

The spa is another amazing addition to the Instittute of multidimensional medicine. Marita saved my skin over a year ago just as doctor mines saved my health and I am in a better place in life because of their services. I recommend this spa and doctors office to all. My whole family still visits weekly. the only thing from stopping me visit TIMM is the plane ride. can’t wait to return to DC and be taken care of with grace and kindness! The location of the office is perfect and not hard to find. the staff there are so nice and welcoming. they really treat you well!

No… oh no… oh no. I was really looking forward to my massage here, treating myself after a really busy period at work. Based on Unilocal reviews my expectations were high. The spa seems old and tired and a bit dingy. No soothing aroma or music. I was actually welcomed by strong indian food smell as I walked through the door. I love indian food but really don’t think it’s the most appropriate aroma for a spa. So staff, perhaps you shouldn’t order indian takeout to eat in the spa… Now the massage… they actually don’t have a team of massage therapists it seems. I got there a few minutes before my appointment and the massage therapist wasn’t there. I overheard the receptionist making a call to another place asking if one of their massage therapists is still planning on coming«because the client is already here». Massage therapist arrived a few minutes later and then took me back to the room. Again old furnishings and linens. The linens were all rough and piled. Probably been using the same low quality ones for several years. By this point I was trying hard to shut out all these observations and stay positive and relaxed. The massage therapist was apologetic for the delay but although she did seem like she knew what she was doing she stressed me out. She put on the normal«soothing music» but a few minutes later a commercial came on. Omg. Streaming a pandora channel? This place doesn’t even provide music that their massage therapists can use?! Moving on from audio experience back to the smell experience. The massage oil smelled a bit off(rancid) and she used a lot of it! And sorry to say this but there was also the smell of BO. Ok you get the picture… normally massages relax you to the point of falling asleep but in this case I couldn’t wait for it to be over!

So this is my first Unilocal review ever and loved this spa so much felt the need to post on here. I use Unilocal all the time so it’s about time I gave a little back. I LOVE a good facial and after purchasing an oxygen facial gilt city deal at TIMM spa, was not disappointed. This is by far the best facial I have had in a long time and maybe ever. The room was perfect low lighting and noise free. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Marita was wonderful, so gentle and mindful of every aspect of the treatment. She answered questions I had but didn’t talk too much and the best part was, there was no product pushing involved. She was very professional and informed me of everything she was doing prior to. Loved, loved my experience here! I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

The spa is in the financial district of DC; the real estate is pricey. Save yourself the stress and park in a garage, so that you can enjoy your time here; don’t park on the meters. The spa itself is lovely, fresh, clean, and pleasing to the eye. I scheduled time in the infrared spa(I cannot sing its praises high enough). Re: my body scrub, facial, and massage combo package: Marita, the aesthetician, was professional and gentle of spirit. I LOVED the facial she gave me and the samples she offered upon checkout. She also did not judge my rather lumpy body while she gave me a scrub and massage. It was delightful being treated by her expert hands. This spa is connected with a medical practice in the same building, btw. Both are pricey; however, those who are treated by the owner/doctor rave about the worth and value of what they receive. If the spa is any indication, I may need to check out the doctor’s office!

I had an organic facial recently. Marita, the esthetician, is wonderful and gentle. This was unlike any other facials I have had for the better. The spa is beautiful and intimate. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend it.

I got a Bloomspot deal for a Swedish full body massage at this spa and I was quite pleased with the experience. A holistic doctor’s office owns the spa but the practitioners are very considerate and they did not try to push me any additional treatments like some places do. The spa itself is small but very clean and nicely appointed. Staff is very polite and accommodating. I have requested a female therapist but somehow this was not noted in my file. One of their female therapists was on the way and they rushed her so I do not have to wait too long. I did not mind as thing like this tend to happen and I had some time on my hands. They offered me to use steam shower while waiting(kind of like a steam room but smaller). Apparently, you can use it for free before your appointment. The massage itself was very relaxing. Marite, the massage therapist, worked on every muscle. I should note that if you like high-pressure, deep tissue type massage, you should probably request the male therapist as Marite is good but more on the gentle side. That worked out for as my muscles were in desperate need of soothing after a few intensive kickboxing practices. I will be sure to return.
