Stamp’d Travel

My husband and I worked with Jocelyn for a few months leading up to our wedding to plan our honeymoon. We got started planning a 3-​week trip to India and the Maldives late in the game, which caused several travel agents to express doubt in working with us off the bat. Jocelyn, however, took us on with excitement, even with the vague amount of information we were able to give her at the start about what we wanted to do and how much we were hoping to spend. Despite the fact that she has not yet visited either of our destinations, she did an incredible amount of research, incorporating our preferences and reactions along the way. We went through several rounds of itineraries as we built our trip, and Jocelyn always reacted positively and proactively as we changed our expectations and budget. Although we live on the west coast and Jocelyn is based on the east coast, she was available late into the night regularly for us to chat with her after work.
Besides always being friendly and timely in her responses, the quality in Jocelyn we appreciated over all others was how logical she is. She takes in a wealth of information, stitches it all together, and makes intelligent decisions about how to structure a trip in a way we’d like to think we would have as well given the time. This gave us total confidence in handing 95% of the planning over to her and knowing we’d end up with a great vacation. It also allowed us to get excited for the trip, as opposed to overwhelmed and stressed in planning a vacation of this scale on top of planning a wedding.
In terms of her travel agent planning style, Jocelyn took on almost all of the planning of our trip, including some of the cities we would visit, what order we would visit them in, transportation between different locations, and all planned and pre-​arranged activities. Some travel agents strongly prefer to work with clients that have a strong sense of their budget and itinerary before they begin planning, which others are willing to take on more of the itinerary building. I think Jocelyn would work anywhere along the spectrum, but her ability to plan a trip from the ground up on minimal information and to be responsive to the reactions of her clients along the way is a major asset in allowing her to work with a range of clients.
Jocelyn is the reason we were able to have a honeymoon — if we had to plan it ourselves, we wouldn’t have had the time and would not have been able to make this trip happen. Working with her was one of the best choices we made during the wedding/​honeymoon planning and we would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a travel agent with a personal touch (as we have already done with several friends).

Travel and adventure designers is right! Our agent, Jocelyn, was great! We sent her an email with a skeleton of a travel idea and a budget for a pre-​NYE getaway. She got back to us in less than 24 hours with trip plan ideas. When we weren’t excited about those she gave us time to think and come back with another idea. By the time we came back we had an entirely new idea but we had to be in Buford, GA on NYE for a wedding. Who even knows where Buford, GA is?! Jocelyn did and she made a trip itinerary happen that truly fit our needs, from location to budget to rental car! We chose to go on a relaxing nature-​filled, skii/​tubing trip in the mountains of NC.
We appreciated her patience and flexibility– late calls, emails all day with questions… she always responded with practical and reassuring advice. She also provided all of the reviews we needed to make a informed decision. Jocelyn planned our entire trip from start to finish. She didn’t book our activities because we wanted to wait until we arrived to decide but she would’ve if we asked!
The early morning of our trip we had trouble checking into our flight online. We shot her an email at 4am, not expecting a response but more so to inform her for later. She emailed back almost immediately. The site finally let us check in but said she would handle our return flights and she did! Does she ever sleep? Talk about customer service!
Our trip was filled with lots of time to reflect, relax, and enjoy one another’s company– just what we wanted. The Inn Jocelyn chose for us was perfect. It was 7 minutes from snow tubing, 5 minutes from the local grocery store (I LOVED grocery shopping for the cabin) and the Inn was surrounded by nothing but quiet and nature. We traveled to the town during ‘off peak’ season which for some may have been a bummer but for us and our pre-​NYE stay, it was perfect. We even made friends with the local wine bar owner! Jocelyn checked in on us to make sure we arrived and that we made it back safely.
We would recommend Stamp’d to anyone. Jocelyn is knowledgeable, honest, practical and she doesn’t try and sell you what you don’t need or want like some agents.
