I’ve been coming to the Center ever since moving here to DC in the late 90’s. This place is home for me. I was looking for a path, and I found it here. The way of meditation is laid out clearly, step by step, with lots and lots of program support for practice and education. Every one is welcome — if you’re looking for a place to come sit, come to one of the evening sits. If you want to study, sign up for class. If you’re looking for a place to make an urban retreat over a weekend, this is the place. Want to introduce your kids to mindfulness? Come join the family group.

I’ve been to this place twice now. People are friendly. I feel relaxed and at peace when I leave.

A friend introduced me to this meditation center and I’ve been going for about a year. Really friendly, welcoming people and beautiful inside. Lots of classes and resources available for people curious about meditation, buddhism, or just personal growth. Glad I found it.

If you are interested in meditation, this is an excellent place to begin. They offer beginner’s instruction and have very friendly folks there to welcome you and get you started. They offer lots of great classes and programs. The entrance to the center is up the stairs to the left(pass by subway).
