My experience was superb until the soy milk curdled in my coffee and I asked for another cup. The cashier insisted there was nothing wrong with the curdling and it was okay to drink my coffee. Ummmmmmmmmm, NO. Please give me another cup or my money back. The customer behind me was even appalled at the suggestion to drink my coffee and go on my merrily way. After my insistence that I would not drink the coffee, she gave me another cup while rolling her eyes. Thank you, I kindly stated and went on my merrily way. On a positive note, I’m eating this falafel & red pepper wrap. It’s kinda tasty. A lot of calories. But tasty. Until next time.

Delicious food, mostly pre-made and ready for you to grab-and-go. We enjoyed a quick afternoon snack here after a visit to the National Geographic Museum. No complaints, I would be happy to go back here to eat again.

Was never really a big oatmeal fan but oatmeal was calling my name this morning and stepped into Pret to pick up a nice full cup of their organic steel oats and it was DELICIOUS! I don’t add too much brown sugar, just added their delicious and crunchy granola and wow the oats and the quality of it really spoke for itself. Delicious, simple, and filling — absolutely good quality and will definitely go back this week for more!

Great spot to grab a quick bite. I like to come here for business meetings too. They have comfortable and plentiful seating and wifi/restrooms. Everything is fresh and ready made. only healthy stuff here. The coffee is fantastic too.

Atmosphere at the moment is busy. I may have come during people’s lunch break, but otherwise everything is fine. An array of freshly made food for your choice. Some really good choices, but my eye was drawn to the salmon and Tzatizki sauce. I also grabbed a miso soup(gets alil salty towards the bottom) and chai tea. Tea is noce, miso is nice as well… but let me start by saying. I’m tryna be PG about this review of that salmon. I’m in the place now shaking my leg and my taste buds want to scream and not take another bite. But I don’t believe in paying for something and wasting it. ITSUCKS! The flatbread is really soggy, the salmon is so bland and dry. It taste like chicken salad… sad. but then the kicker… the ingredients are pickled cabbage,(not bad) salmon,(ugh), the sauce,(ok), cilantro,(deadly) and mint(can’t even tell)…I was not aware that they layered the flat bread with just a bunch of cilantro… no no no no no no no… cilantro has a very strong distinct flavor… and it left such a bad taste in my mouth… I plucked all those nasty things out. That being said it was my fault and I will never get it again. As this my first time I have to come again and try something new… after ridding the flatbed of cilantro it’s ok… all the Tzatizki sauce is at the bottom of the bread which is probably why it’s super soggy. But overall not bad after ridding the cilantro… can’t taste the mint and the pickled cabbage is sweet but nice. Salmon is still dry which really takes away from really making this taste good. Overall not a bad place. –take it back! After I finished my meal about 10 min later after walking, I had the runs. The food did not sit well, and I would love to find an excuse for why the food was ok and it’s just me, but I cant! I eat alot normally different food in short time frames and never have I gotten the runs right after eating. So I said I’d be back… umm mm alot later than sooner. Smile!

Great service. Stopped by for some coffee and dessert after dinner. It was near closing time and the self serve coffee was near the end and cold. I informed them of this and the employee apologized and made a fresh cup of coffee. Delicious pastry items. The almond croissant was warm and tasty.

Five stars relative to what it is, a quick place to get good food for the price. Yes pret is a tad pricey but given their locations I understand about rent. The food is always fresh and I love how they’ve worked to diversify and increase their offerings. The lines move quickly and the cashiers are very friendly. I come here often and I’ve yet to tire of it. I wish they had more warm offerings sometimes, though.

Even if I’m running late, there’s time for real food at this beautiful location on Farragut Park. Sit and people watch, or get outta Dodge in under a minute. Love the cold-pressed fruit & veg juices!

They are always fast and have a great system going, not to mention good customer service. I love DD coffee and Starbucks, but hate the horrible service at both nearby locations. Pret, you can have my money.

By far the worst Pret a Manger I have ever visited. I ordered the buffalo chicken hot wrap and a small latte. The wrap was dry and had a weird cheesy taste to it. but once I finally got their«buffalo sauce», I gagged. It tasted like tomato sauce from the trash can. Such a waste of money. Luckily my sister ordered a salad and we shared that. The latte was a latte, nothing special. I will never go back to this location.

A chain, but a great one. I’ve been to 3 locations and this is probably the most convenient one. While a little pricey, this fancy coffee and fast-food(think a more open and light-filled version of Starbuck’s) is awesome! It offers tasty light fare with flavor-filled coffee and tea in a very pleasant, clean and upbeat environ. On the food side, I’ve had a chicken salad sandwich that was great and a ham & cheddar croissant that was out of this world. Yes, I realize these are not imaginative selections, but any place that can work this kind of magic with a staple item, deserves a little praise. Go out of your way to try them.

7 bucks for a sandwich with only one slice of chicken and a slice of bacon… and a big bread roll. I would have been better off at a street vendor… or better yet SUBWAY !!! I’m not a skinny guy. i work hard and i eat to keep this body working. If that is considered eating, i see why people a skinny.

Ok. Again, I don’t usually review chains, but I had a tastebud-changing experience at K St’s Pret. I usually walk home after work, but it was absolutely cold and rainy. I had a pretty bad day, so I wasn’t in the mood to make the trek that evening. I decided to take the Circulator(shivers) and as I still had 15 minutes, I went to Pret really quickly to grab a snack. Originally intending to go for a fruit pot, I walked over to the refrigerated section when my eye was caught by a beautiful spinach and tomato mac and cheese box. I decided to go for it as that way I could avoid going back outside for dinner once I got home. I’m not sure how much further I want to go with this review. Let’s just say it’s been over a week and not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about this mac and cheese. I’ve never loved anyone as much I love this pasta.

One of the few places around my office that’s open after 7pm on a weekday. It’s obviously not a foodie spot, but this location of Pret has a big space compared to others and usually is fully stocked with sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cashier line has at least 6 people working, so even during the morning and lunch rushes, you can get your food and pay quickly. It has two long tables with short chairs, a few high tables with stools, and several single sofa seats. I often see people with their laptops here.

We went to Pret almost daily when we lived in London so we were so excited to go back on our little trip to DC for the day. The food was basically the same; got two hot wrap sandwiches and they were pretty good! I find that most of the food at Pret is just pretty good. Haven’t had anything amaaazing but never had anything bad either. The staff at this location was awesome! Really really nice– I hope they pay well!

Interesting concept for a grab and go restaurant. Great food options, easy to find, grab. Cold, hot, drinks, chips, coffee, pastries, fruit. If I worked in the area, i could see myself eating here a lot. With my children we shared a sandwich, some mac and cheese(hot and had some cauliflower in it — yum), popcorn, and a drink. We all had something we enjoyed and it worked. There was extensive seating, windows everywhere, open seating(some were big tables), trash encouraged recycling and was clearly labeled.

Pret a Manger I know this is a chain. This store is within 3 blocks of another store too! To me, they are all the same, but I have to commend them for keeping this store as clean as it is being next to the metro stop(Farragut North). There is a lot of foot traffic here and for them to keep it respectably clean is not something to really scoff at. I always stay away from Starbucks that are close to the metro stop because of its cleanliness. As for the food and coffee, it is standard and nothing special. The Wifi always works as intended — sometimes slow if there are a lot of people there. During peak hours, the store can be a bit crowded and finding a seat is a bit challenging. Even though a lot of people are grabbing food trucks for lunch, this place is still busy.

I absolutely love Pret for majorly two reasons; their light roast coffee and their no-fuss-grab-and-go food options. My go to fave for any time of the day is the DELISH chicken/avo sandwich! You HAVE to try it! The kettle chips are always good(although unhealthy) and my favorite way to eat em is to dunk em in the feta-tomato soup! Whenever they have feta/tomato soup and I happen to go to Pret, I have to grab a pack of chips to accompany it with — it’s just right! They have a whole lot of other sandwich/salad options which are pretty good! And a lot of healthy snacks also. This place def doesn’t disappoint for those in a rush but still lookin for tasty food options!

There’s so many pret a mangers here in DC, but I love them! It’s so convenient, especially when you’re rushing to take a quick lunch. Their salads, sandwiches, and wraps are all premade(they claim they make them fresh daily and donate the ones that didn’t sell), but I’ve enjoyed all the ones I’ve tried. Prices are fairly standard — around $ 4-$ 8 an item. I’ve tried their nori veggie wrap, which is a wrap full of veggies and sauce, wrapped with seaweed. The seaweed wasn’t crispy, but it tasted good. I’ve also had their spicy shrimp wrap, which was very good. The lettuce they used was all green– no browning and whatnot at all. The shrimp was tasty, and there were some spicy parts. So good. They also have cold pressed juices. I’ve never had one at other places before because they are priced around $ 8, even at whole foods, but pret a manger has cold pressed juices for $ 6. I tried their green juice(apples, spinach, kale, cucumber, and more??), and it was delicious. Got my vitamin A and such from that drink. Their chai latte is different though. It’s tea bag brewed chai tea with some milk, but they also sweeten it with some syrup. I guess that’s what threw me off. It was good its own way, but not something that I prefer as chai. There’s a good amount of seating, making it a popular place to study, especially with free wifi.
