Nirvana Holistic Spa

I purchased an at home massage for my college-​age son, who gets sore traps and neck muscles from playing his trumpet. He’s had lots of massages, and this was the very first one that was a bad experience. He said he was more tense after the massage than before, and felt belittled by the woman giving the massage, said she was «mean» — and worse — relayed that she was mean after I left the house (ironically, to get $ 30 in cash to give her as a tip). I found this all very disturbing, got the definite sense that the woman was using her position as a masseuse to be mean and hateful. I will never again give this place my business. As to the $ 30 tip — the days of overtipping massage therapists are over after this experience.

Thank you to Karen for coming through with two very skilled therapists. Kejuan and Destiny arrived early to set up and were very professional and attentive. Unfortunately, we were only visiting the area for our 5-​year wedding anniversary and to celebrate my husband’s birthday but the next time we visit we’ll be sure to call Nirvana.

I love the quiet, retreat-​like feel of a spa and I enjoyed not having to leave my home for this lovely massage. Each are distinct experiences – and this is one I would repeat! It was easy to schedule (I got a call right back and got by first choice time and day). The therapist arrived 15 minutes early to set up the table. Because I like a lot of warmth, I had all the blankets, heating pads, etc. I needed and even had the fireplace going. Thank you for a memorable experience!

I had a one hour in home massage with Sandreia. She was great — very professional, asked all the right questions and provided a fabulous massage. I would definitely use her again.

Absolutely horrible – terrible, terrible customer service! The massage therapist never showed up and they told Amazon that I had used my voucher – making it difficult to get refund.
TERRIBLE. First of all, I booked my appointment and had to work with the Admin person named Karenn (with two «n“s) to fit into the schedule. No problem – I moved some meetings and pushed back a lunch. Then, the night before, at 10:12pm, I get an email asking if I could move my appt to the afternoon. When I replied that no, sorry, I couldn’t because I had already moved appts to the afternoon so I could fit the appt in and how about we just reschedule?(I understand, last minute things come up – let’s just push to another time) I got NO reply until after midnight saying thanks and maybe for the best. Fine. But then at 3am, I get an email CONFIRMING my 11am. So now, I think appt is back on. I emailed THREE TIMES in the am, beginning at 8am saying, hey – let’s just reschedule. NO REPLY. So I get ready and wait for 11am. Antonio does not show up. At 11:20am I call and email and say, no problem – I understand. Things come up – we’ll reschedule. Later, at 3pm, in the middle of a very busy afternoon, I get a call from Karenn (with two «n“s) saying «hi-​you didn’t get my email at midnight? wow, didn’t you see that we were going to reschedule?» When I pointed out that she sent a re-​confirming email at three am PLUS did NOT reply to my three emails in the morning or my call, she told me that the problem must be on my end with my email. !!! (Keep in mind, I emailed with other folks all morning and had no problems) I told her that I would be in touch at my convenience to reschedule and ended the call. I was going to let it roll until I checked my Amazon account and saw that the MERCHANT had said I used the voucher! I have asked for a refund. This was horrible customer service and I wasted a morning and was stressed out over what was supposed to be relaxing experience. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME.

I just received my second massage from Shannan and she is great! I get a lot of massages, probably twice a month on average for years, but had never had someone come to my house before. After trying it once with a LivingSocial deal, I was impressed. Then I found out about there VIP membership deal where I could get close to that low price every time, and have been very satisfied since. I predict I will be sticking with Nirvana Holistic Spa’s in home massages for a long time.

Ordered a massage for my husband. Nancy was punctual, personable, and a pleasure. My husband raves that it was one of the best massages he has had. We will definitely do business with the spa again and I highly recommend the services to others.

I purchased a Groupon/​Living Social (something like that) for a massage and mini-​facial. I forwarded my voucher email to the spa with my name, number, and requested appointment date. They replied by asking me for a voucher number … which was in the original email! So right away I wasn’t impressed with Nirvana Holistic Spa. A few days later Sandria shows up to give me my massage and mini-​facial. Long story short, this woman is well-​intentioned but has ZERO business sense. She showed up late – very late because she couldn’t find my hotel room (not «couldn’t find my hotel» but couldn’t find my room WITHIN the hotel). Her massage techniques are not good. Her facial equipment was gross (I washed my face vigorously afterward). And her menial chit-​chat is simply nonsense (she talked about being Muslim (I feined interest but could tell she knew nothing of the Islamic faith, which is what I assume she meant to say when she said ‘Muslim’) then she talked about how she only gives 2 or 3 massages per week then blabbered on about something else then said she’d give me a business card but she was «all out» because she’d been «handing them out all day» … how’s that possible if you only give 2 – 3 massages per week?!) At any rate, not good and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. I can’t speak for the rest of the company buuuuut employees are usually a pretty accurate reflection of their employers soooooo I wouldn’t recommend Nirvana either. I won’t be back.

I purchased an in-​home massage with Nirvana Holistic Spa. It took three attempts over the span of a week to actually get in touch with someone to make the appointment. I received two confirmation emails prior to my appointment so I felt pretty confident things were going to go well. The last confirmation email I received was on the morning of the appointment. Unfortunately, the time of my appointment came and no one showed up. I called and emailed but did not receive an answer. After the third phone call, an hour after my scheduled appointment time I finally got through to someone but when I explained why I was calling, they hung up on me. I called back and the person on the other end of the line told me that she did not see me scheduled. I was told I would be contacted by a manager but three days later… no one has contacted me.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! You will pay in advance and lose your money.

I ordered the 90-​mins in home couples massage for my girlfriend and I. It was a late Valentine’s Day gift for her, I got the room ready prior to arrival– candles, bottle of wine, music, and a portable heater to start loosening up the joints. Our appointment was for 7:30pm and promptly at 7:25pm we had two female therapists, Destiny and Cyntria at the door. They went ahead and set up the whole process which only took a few minutes and for 90mins I was in heaven! It was an amazing experience, I highly recommend using them.

I purchased a couples massage through Living Social and I have to say that it was just about perfect! Both massage therapists arrived early, were prepared and gave spectacular masssages. I have had many in my lifetime and the one I had today with Barbara is one of the best I have ever experienced. The convenience of having the masseuse come to me can not be surpassed and she knew immediately what kind of pressure and areas of tension to tackle. I can not wait for the next massage!

Karin King was wonderful and I would highly recommend Nirvana Holistic Spa. The fact that I did not have to go anywhere after it was all said and done was so nice. I did not have to worry about going out in public looking a mess. And it was simply fantastic to be able to relax at home in sweats and have no place I had to go. Karin came prepared with spa music and insisted we light candles around the room. It felt like a spa and was a great massage. And leading up to the appointment the customer service was phenomenal. I had to change dates and they could not have been more understanding and helpful. I could not give Nirvana Holistic Spa a higher recommendation. It was simply put — a great experience.

I prefer the atmosphere of a spa, which is no surprise (I’d rather dine out than carry-​out). However, I’d highly recommend Wynter. She promptly arrived on time and was extremely professional. The massage is good, and she periodically asked if the pressure was right. I also had the salt scrub at the end, which was a little too rough for my taste, but hey, some people like that exfoliation.
From other reviews, it sounds like people had trouble scheduling their visit. Fortunately I did not, and I was the one who re-​scheduled twice. Once when I called their voicemail was full, but then I called back later in the day and someone picked up.
Again, if you prefer the «spa experience», then skip this. But if you just want a no hassle massage, I would give them a try (especially with the Bloomspot deal).

I purchased a bloodspot deal for Nirvana Holistic Spa 1 hour in home massage and salt glow. Wynter was absolutely wonderful and could not have been nicer. She did get stuck in traffic, but called ahead of time to make me aware of the delay.
I highly recommend this service!

Nirvana was my first massage where they actually come to you instead of going to a spa, and I found it to be very convenient. The masseuse, Winter, arrived on time, was very professional, and gave a really wonderful, relaxing massage. Afterwards I felt completely «zen» and didn’t have to deal with the logistics of getting back home, since I was already there!
One minor improvement would be better responsiveness on the scheduling line — I did have to call three or so times to actually reach someone, but when I did I was able to schedule it within a few minutes, just a couple days ahead of my appointment.
Overall, I think this is a great at-​home option when you want a restorative massage without going too far out of your way (or time is limited). Spas where you can pass a leisurely few hours are their own level of indulgence, but this is an excellent choice for an on-​the-​go person in need of some quality R&R!

A friend of mines suggested this company to me… And i was quite surprised to have the best massage Ive ever had. I recently got into a car accident, and was worried that the massage would hurt. But the therapist they sent was perfect. It seemed she was in tune to what spots were soar and what’s areas to give more pressure. And being that they came to my house, i thought that was unique in itself, because i didn’t have to travel. I had the best nights sleep ive had for years. So yes i bought a package deal of ten more sessions. And today ill be having another… And i look forward to it. Nirvana is ok with me… thanks

It was last Tuesday and My girlfriend’s birthday was this past weekend and I was frantically looking for something to get her. Then I remembered purchasing a Groupon for a massage at Nirvana Holistic Spa a few weeks back for myself. Since I was being lazy I figured she would appreciate it more, so I called Nirvana Holistic Spa and was lucky enough to get an appointment on Saturday morning, her actual birthday. The therapist showed up at my house on time. I opened the door and he was very friendly and professional. After I informed him it wasn’t me but my girlfriend he was tending to he directed his attention to her and made sure we were both comfortable before he began. The massage lasted 60 minutes and my girl was very pleased and very relaxed after the massage… she complimented me on the great birthday gift and has been overly pleasant and generous all week lol. After that experience I called and made an appointment for myself this Saturday, but this time I made sure I asked for a female therapist. Hopefully my massage turns out just as well. Kudos to Nirvana Holistic Spa so far for putting a big smile on my girls face and stay tuned for my upcoming experience…

I finished up a big project at work a few weeks ago and decided to treat myself to a massage from Nirvana Holistic Spa. I’ve had quite a few massages in my day but this was my first time receiving (a professional one) in my own home. Things didn’t start off so great when the therapist called to let me know she was going to be running about 10 minutes late. Not the best start to a service which is supposed to provide relaxation. When Melinda, the therapist, arrived she apologized for the tardiness and offered to add 10 minutes on to my scheduled 60-​minute massage as compensation. I gladly accepted. Overall, I would rate the massage quality a very good ⁹⁄₁₀ and while I’d love to give Nirvana a solid 5 stars, something threw me off about being late to a massage appointment so I’ll need to drop it to a 4 star experience.
