Mrs. Natalie of Georgetown

I’ve gone to Mrs. Natalie many time since 2012. I also sometimes go to her daughter if she is not available. Both readings are very different but I give them the same rating, I will start with Mrs. Natalie first.
Mrs. Natalie, when I first met her I was 21 just out of college and looking for guidance in life. She talked about certain things regarding marriage in 4 years and meeting my soulmate sometime in the summer. That summer I did not meet my soul, I did not meet anybody remotely close to a soulmate or love interest (although I did make new friends). Since then I have undergone a spiritual cleaning with her to help cleanse my past ties with relationships here and there in the past. The cleansing was an interesting experience. But all together not worth the price. (better to save your money, join a yoga class, and learn to let go of the past). Since then I have gone back to her consistently for the past 4 years (less and less each year). The point is: Is the experience worth it? yes (the first time). Will she get it right (sometimes yes, sometimes no). Does she have good customer service (yes, friendly and straight forward)
Now on to her daughter also named Mrs. Natalie but younger and speaks clearer:
I began to visit her sometime in 2013, I liked her energy and ability to be very detailed so I continue to return. I actually find her slightly better than her mother but not as accurate. Every time I get a reading, she continues to mention a soulmate and give specific dates as too his features, career, complexion (even down to his voice) which I find slightly hard to believe. Since I have not met a guy who fits that description within the time frames predicted. Same questions: is she worth the experience? Yes. Will she get it right? a few parts but sometimes blatantly NO. Does she have good customer service? Yes.
I must admit (as a person who frequently visits psychic shops and should stop soon) they have to be the best in DC.

Do you think Mrs. Natalie predicted I would give her 1 star?
Such an unpleasant person should pay to have anyone spend 5 minutes with her.

I went in with a friend just out of curiosity and for entertainment *shrugs*. I left in tears. There were very personal things (things I hadn’t shared even with my mother yet) that Mrs. Natalie knew. I also overheard things she told my friend which were true. The only thing Mrs. Natalie asked of me was my name. She spoke the entire time and she does not sugarcoat. The things she said left me wanting to leave because quite frankly, it was too deep.

My friend and I got to read with Tina and we were both happy with our readings. Tina was really accurate about our characters in general and described my friend to a tee. She was right on target describing past situations and I only hope that the future holds all she sees as well. Tina is very warm and funny and I’d definitely read with her again. If you’re not local, she will also do phone readings though she said the price is a little higher.

Mrs. Natalie is amazing. Seriously. You just have to be open to hear things about yourself. I don’t know if everything that was told to me would come true but I can definitely say that I felt happy after I left. Lighter I would say, even though not everything was and will be perfect. And yes, she told me a lot of things about my past and my personality that I doubt she knew before.
Sometimes we need to pay to hear things we don’t tell ourselves.
If you can be your own psychic — you are lucky and you don’t need to visit anyone.
I believe Mrs. Natalie helped me already by telling me one more time what was obvious. Because I was stubborn enough not to see it and accept it.

Update: It’s been two years since my friend’s reading… and according to Mrs. Natalie, things that were supposed to have happened did not happen. There ya go. Not psychic.

3.5. I was just reviewing Mrs. Jessica (who is a straight-​up fraud) and figured that while I’m reviewing tarot readers I may as well review Mrs. Natalie, too. I went to her a little over a year ago. I’ve been reading tarot cards since high school but only began working at it and practicing enough to be at all decent in the past year, since I saw Mrs. Natalie, so I can make some interesting observations in retrospect.
I went with a guy friend with whom I got together romantically a few days later (and it was a disaster). She read us both.
Her future predictions did not come true, at least not for me — I can’t tell you about his since we don’t speak. She made the mistake of giving specific time frames, which I’ve learned are almost impossible to derive from tarot cards unless you yourself are really clairvoyant. The cards themselves ain’t gonna tell you.
What she did do uncannily well, however, was tell me private things about myself and assess what was going on in that very moment. By private things I mean observations about myself that I have never expressed outwardly to anyone, using almost the same language that I used to mentally describe it to myself. It was creepy.
She also told me that in a few weeks I was going to meet a man and fall in love. Awkwardly, she said, «Not the one who loves you now.» Like she wanted to say something else and caught herself, because, heh, he was in the room with us. Alas, in three weeks I did not meet the man I would fall in love with… at least I haven’t fallen in love with him yet.
I DID meet a man 3 weeks later who I dated a little bit and who burned me to get back with an ex. I also reconnected at the same event with an old guy friend who has since put the moves on me almost exactly a year later, then blown me off, gone after my friend right in front of me and embroiled me in all kinds of scintillating DRAMA, yet to be resolved. My gut (and the tarot card readings I have given myself) is telling me that neither of these men is my soul mate. But she was right that in 3 weeks (ish) I would meet other prospects.
In her defense, we say in tarot that there is no set future, that tarot cards show you the most likely future based on current circumstances, but that there’s still free will. I do think she has something, if only a really strong intuition and ability to read people as they are. I don’t think predicting the future is her strong suit. I think she had some idea, but it was murky, and she got some things wrong. But I frankly have yet to meet a tarot card reader who doesn’t miss things or misinterpret the spread sometimes — that doesn’t make them less legitimate somehow; It simply indicates that it’s not an exact science and that readers have their good and bad days.
Meanwhile, she was nice and it was fun. So if you think the price of the reading is worth paying for entertainment, then there’s no reason not to.

I went to see Ms. Natalie at her Georgetown location (1500 Wisconsin Ave NW) this past Friday, and I must say that I was very pleased with my Tarot read. She was very nice and gave out a lot of information, especially if you asked questions.
I would definitely go back to her again… she’s fairly accurate and doesn’t try to goad you into spending more money on her other services.
I’m surprised that there are people on this site who have had bad experiences with her… most of the reviews that I’ve read here and on Yahoo! were very positive.
I had a great experience, and if you’re looking for that, then definitely go see Ms. Natalie.

Last year I went to Ms. Natalie who sent me to her daughter Tina who is a fake. Worse, she predicted all sorts of awful events like my Mother dying which didn’t happen.
Stay far away.

I’ve been to a few psychics, some okay, some not so good. But this one here– she is great.
I went to her (I went to the Friendship Heights location) with a friend of mine for moral support. She was very nice and comforting. We said a quick hello and I introduced her to my friend and we got right into it. I first got a palm reading which was pretty right on about me. Next, I got a full tarot card reading. I made my mind up that I would not react in any kind of way (noise, crying, laughing, smiling, etc). I made sure that I tried to keep my face blank as much as possible so she couldn’t have anything to go on if she was right or wrong.
The tarot card reading was unbelieveable (in a good way). She knew so much about me, what I’ve been going through in the last few years, how I’ve been feeling about my certain things and people in my life, my parents, my concern about starting a family, etc. I mean she knew EVERYTHING! She even described a certain person in my life to a tee and I quickly glanced over to my friend and her mouth was wide open in astonishment. She even mentioned where I want to move in the future and my friend was shocked. Why? Because, just that day I tweeted that I was going to start a job search in the state that she mentioned that I will move to! The reading I got from her really comforted me and was something that I really need b/​c of the things that I am dealing with on a personal level. I would strongly recommend her with no qualms.
After she finished the reading, I was allowed to ask some questions and that was it. And let me say this– after my reading was done, my friend damn near ambushed her (LOL) and asked her if she could get a reading and she did. My friend did not leave a skeptic either. We were both amazed.
Now the only thing I’m waiting on is to see if what she said about my future will be true. But I’m not worried– she was right about my past and my present.
When you go, ask for Tina! You will not regret it.

I will be the first to admit that I am the sort of person who is ‘into’ this kind of thing. I have always found amusement and entertainment out of stories of psychics and the tarot. I love watching shows and movies about mediums and will defend to anyone that there is always the possibility this is all true.
However, I had never been to a psychic. I had never had my tarot read and I never asked anyone to look into a crystal ball and tell me my future. As much as I liked the idea I never saw it as something that was real enough to waste my time or my money.
Until now.
After dealing with many confusing and frustrating events over the last year I found myself looking for advice and answers anywhere I could get them. While on vacation to the area I decided to stop by and visit Mrs. Natalie.
She spoke with me for at least 45min. (Actually, she spoke AT me. I barely said a word until the very end.) I have to admit that I was actually shaking during the reading as she was discussing in detail some very personal aspects of my past and present situations. She knew things that only a few select individuals know. She knew about my personal struggles and some of the decisions I have had a difficult time making. Bottom line… she knew.
I don’t believe that every person out there that claims to see the future is legit. I do think this woman is, and I do think she is worth a visit from anyone who cares to take the time. You just might be surprised.

Honestly i have to agree with Stephanie B. i had a tarot card reading done at 50 bucks and it was pretty lame.
She was wrong about my family life (i’m estranged from my parents she said i came from a good family) thought my mother had multiple children, she did not… She was vaguely right about a friend of min being sick, but i’m reaching there.
She said i should leave this area and take a job offered to me in the islands… i think the job offer is turning out to be an identity theft scam…
She also said that i would meet a guy in 2 weeks that worked in sports and he would be my heartmate. Unfortunately i hate sports…
i think she could tell i wasn’t buying it or pleased and even though she didn’t try to up sell me or anything she told me i was blocked and very cold before she invited me back. i feel like i wore her out cause she couldn’t figure me out and couldn’t get me «right».
We’ll see how accurate she is by whether or not i meet this person i’m going to marry within the next 2 weeks…

Mrs. Natalie is not like any other psychic. Most psychics will tell you pretty much what you want to hear, because they ARE taking $ 20 for less than one minute of chit-​chat.

I was taken to Mrs. Natalie as a Valentine’s Day gift. The first thing I noticed was she had several Catholic symbols and nicknacks around, like a small crucifix on the wall, a calendar of the Virgin Mary, and perhaps a rosary on a side table. This struck me as odd, because I am also Catholic and it is against Catholic beliefs to be involved in or believe in psychic stuff. Yet, there I was. Lolz…
The beginning of the reading was pretty standard, you know, sugar-​coated predictions (old age, soulmate, etc.), so I thought to myself there goes my date’s $ 20 (or $ 40?)…
The tone changed quickly. I don’t want to share what she told me, because a lot of it was extremely private, and not sugar-​coated at all. I was intrigued by the accuracy about things only me and my close friends and family knew.
Too accurate.
I still worry about whether one prediction she made about my future will also be correct. All I know is it’s not something anybody wants to hear for 20 (or 40?) bucks.
My palm reading was quickly over, and I walked out into the waiting area a little bit dazed. I was unsure as to what I had just experienced. It was then my date’s turn to go. I waited maybe 5 minutes before he came back out.
He was completely deadpan and as white as a sheet. He just waited for me by the door. As we walked out, I asked him what she said, and he just replied with, «Oh, nothing, she’s just a psychic, you know? It’s something fun to do. Let’s take a walk.»
A few months later, my date at that time suffered through a freak accident, and came close to experiencing another freak accident a short time later. After he received surgery from the first accident, we were sitting quietly together. He unexpectedly said with a smile on his face, «Yo, Mrs. Natalie was totally right. About a lot of shit.» He then laughed with sadistic amusement. I just smiled, and worried to myself.
Moral of this story: Do not go unless you are really, really ready.

I had my tarot card reading ($ 30) yesterday. It was about 30 min. or so long and beyond «good». Mrs. Natalie’s of Georgetown is the real deal and I would go again. Her place is very nice and cozy, it smells so calming. Upon first whiff, I knew I loved the place.
What does calm smell like?
Like warm musk and vanilla mostly with a dash of cinnamon.
Her kids where sitting out in the waiting area watching the news. They were cute and quiet (read: seen and not heard), as kids should be. She was much younger, warmer and nicer than I anticipated but before I got there I had already decided to be a steel trap and not feed her any info or even make general eye contact. I wanted to really test her. This woman told my life story and darn it, it’s quite a story. I seriously said nothing and she was on point with everything she said!
She had good things to say but everything wasn’t good, so please don’t get the impression that’s she’s a pleaser. Anytime she had something not so positive to say she would say, «I hope this doesn’t offend you but…» I don’t offend easily, so I usually just laughed at those times (nervous laughter I assure you). Her advice is beautiful and logical. At the end she asked if I had any specific questions for her. Like another poster said, I was so floored I just sat there shaking my head. Walked in a bit of a skeptic and now I’m her freaking cheerleader. Amazing.
I already have my friends setting up appointments with her for this Friday! Good news travels

I went to go see her on this past Sunday afternoon. She’s freakishly accurate.
I did a palm reading, which she suggested since I hadn’t had a reading done before ($ 20). We didn’t talk before hand except greeting each other and she asked what type of reading I wanted.
She was spot on about my personality, family, love life. She even mentioned the «cute boy with great potential» that I want «absolutely nothing to do with.» She advised me how to handle my career and love life, great advice.
I was also in her sitting room area while she did a tarot card reading for another customer. From what I could hear, the customer was extremely happy with her reading. All in all, I think Mrs. Natalie is awesome! I’ll probably be going back for a tarot card reading ($ 30).

I know what you are thinking. «palm readings? really, Chloe F., pull yourself together». Sure, sure you might think horoscopes and soul mates are all pish-​posh. You could take a look at the random lines on my hand and make something up, I know, I know.
However…Mrs. Natalie is AWESOME!
For $ 20 she knew about aspects of my past, present and future and we spoke for maybe 1 minute prior to the reading and did not discuss anything she told me. Career, love, health, and my general personality were all broken down for me. I was surprised at spot on she was.
Also, she told my cousin completely different things that were also extremely accurate. Crazy accurate.
