Im visiting DC, I’m at the Smithsonian and I’m hungry. What do they offer? McDonald’s? How stupidly American. No star rating.

I cannot believe I am saying this, but this MickyD was actually pretty good, not because of the food of course. It was probably the biggest MickyD I ever visited in the US. Even though they were more expensive than standard MickyDs, but they were still the cheapest in the core DC area. They are located on the east side of the Air & Space Museum. There was plenty of seating available when we went, and they got some sections emptied. Food was just the standard mickyD stuff, nothing special in this region. I suppose it was a good place for the budget type folks with a lot of kids. Surprisingly did not feel like I gotten rip-off like all the other food places in DC. Drink is refillable if you prefer to buy one of those high priced water outside. Beware you cannot bring your drink from here back into the museum as the guards will get rather upset. They do have an exit only door to bring your drinks outside.

This McD’s was fast & convenient. Although one in our party wasn’t happy with his Big Mac. Free refills on drinks — what else could you ask for in downtown DC?

Conveniently in the air and space museum and a couple ice cream dessert stations in back are nice. Its standard mcdonalds fare, plus boston market chicken platter, and pizza options. Food is as expected and a tad pricey but not crazy. Good place to take groups, lots of seating and lines for ordering

The McDonalds here was just crowded! A lot of school kids all over the place. Its hard to plan around that since you never know when their field trips are. I would suggest coming here earlier, probably for an 11:30 or 12:00 lunch before the big rush comes through. There was practically no where to sit. If you are traveling with a big group, it’ll be hard to sit together. Coming to this McDonalds in the air and space museum, I came here with my wife. Just 2 people! And we could barely sit together. The food is on par with any other McDonalds restaurant. The service is fast. However the fries were not hot, some fries were cooled off when we got to eating it. I would suggest maybe asking for a fresh batch of fries if you can. Expect to pay extra for all the foods on the menu compared to a regular McDonalds because its in a museum. I got the fried chicken sandwich and that was pretty good. Soda is unlimited refills!

Not a lot of choices. They were out of cheese pizza(they had pepperoni pizza though, go figure), which was the one vegetarian option. We can put a man on the moon, but we can’t put a decent restaurant in the air and space museum.

I remember the television commercial from my childhood with the lyrics that included the phrase, «McDonald’s is my kind of place, my kind of HAPPY place.» McDonald’s serves a product called the HAPPY Meal.” Their current packaging and shirts include the slogan«I’m LOVIN’ it.» Well you could fool me, based upon my visit to the McDonald’s situated on the National Mall within the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. WHAT A DOURSTAFF! You could have fooled me, I believe they are HATIN’ it!

I don’t like McDonalds very much but when you are hungry your willing to compromise. So I knew food would cost a little more but $ 7.50 for a pizza? I figured one of those pan pizzas from Pizza Hut. Was one of those $ 1.15 pizzas you find in the food store. Not just that but the tables were always dirty, i have been here more than once, and every time I have seen the tables remain dirty. It’s slow season how can you not have time to clean the tables? It was 11am and it opened up dirty? Besides my order my sister got a chicken salad and she just threw away the chicken it looked that bad. Two stars just Because they treated us better than the one just two blocks from there but not really.

5 stars for 2 reasons: Convenient and huge amount of space. This is easily one of the nicest McDonalds in terms of layout and efficiency I have ever been to. Go right past the lunar lander… you can’t miss it!

This mcdonalds at the national air and space museum is actually a decent place to eat at. For starters, the workers are nice and the food comes out tasting appetizing even when it is served quickly. At our recent visit– a day before my birthday– I ordered the bacon club burger and my husband had the double quarter pounder cheese value meal.

I have to admit that having a full service restaurant inside the Air and Space Museum is quite clever of the big M. After all, most of the people in this museum tend to be that type of crowd or little people(youngins). My BBQ Carvers sandwich was actually quite good. However, the low stars are for the fact that the person who made my blueberry pomegranate smoothie couldn’t be bothered to actually do her job. She emptied the blender into my cup, well short of the fill line, and well short based on the other two smoothies that she did prior to mine. Not being bothered to make another blender of the drink, she just chose to hand me the drink. I was actually too shocked to say something immediately, hence my review here. Was it tasty? Absolutely! But, the service, not so good.

This isn’t any old McDonalds, this is the one in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington DC! This large cafeteria area serves McDonalds and Boston Market in the same place, its all pretty automated and not your average Mickey D’s ordering experience. We had 2 Big Mac Meals, totalling $ 18.00! But it was very good, it hit the spot for a quick lunch on that busy day in DC.

This is the catch of the free Air and Space Museum, it’s the only thing available at the food court and obviously there are no restaurants in the area. Save yourself and make sure you bring snacks and water with you if you tour here. The menu is limited and over priced for McDonald’s, pizza and Boston Market. The staff obviously hates their job, as I saw frequent mumbling and eye rolling from them. There’s no Dollar Menu and the sandwiches themselves are at the $ 5 dollar range. Looking for tables are inconvenient due to the large masses of people and the court is left with dirty tables and trash all over. The sauce provided are BBQ and Sweet & Sour, I didn’t see any Ketchup. The food was typical of McDonald’s but in a pinch does the job in inducing you into a fast food coma with its highly caloric, salt and sugar laden products. I suppose it is only fitting to have a McDonald’s for tourists in the museum, but goodness sake please hire people who make the experience positive not a negative one.

Right inside the Air and Space Museum, this was an easy and convenient snack spot for us, and as usual, they delivered! McWrap was freshly made and delicious, and the skinny fries were hot and crispy as always. Staff were reasonably quick. Heaps of tables as you turn the corner around sauce station, and we sat by the window and watched the diversity of the people there. Fun!

This place SUCKS Carlos cashier didn’t speak right English. I asked for a #4 no buns but wrap in lettuce, and he said ok. I got my order and the #4 looked horrible. I asked the girl behind the counter to please wrap it in lettuce, she took it back and put ONELETTUCE on top. I asked to please put more… Another staff member took it. The manager at this location on Sunday 82013 at 4:30p just looked at me knowing the problem NEVER I MEANNEVER bother to asked or mention something to make the service better. Service & Food BAD Manager Deria(I think was her name) bad bad as a manager how can McDonalds have staff this incompetent. If the cashier Carlos would said: sorry, we can’t do it. I will be HAPPY to order a salad instead. I’m in a vacation day and this places Is HORRIBLE I Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Very convenient location for snackers needing a quick break from the action that is the National Air and Space Museum.

Definitely expensive(about $ 9 a person for a burger, fries and soda), yet somehow this McDonald’s is able to produce the kind of perfect-looking burgers that usually appear only in McDonald’s TV commercials. I’ve never had such fresh and delicious food at a McDonald’s.

So we didn’t know what else to eat at the Air and Space Museum. Yes this is in one of the Smithsonian Museums. GOOD: I like the efficiency assembly line. Feels futuristic the ordering system. The walls are glass windows. BAD: Expensive, but that goes with the tourist ticket. About airport prices, $ 8+ per meal.

Don’t we all have a little place in our hearts for McD’s? I do, and while McD’s is pretty pedestrian, there are reasons why I like this location: — Location… Yes, I like the concept of eating inside the Air & Space Museum. And very convenient. — Museum food… quite frankly, 99% of museums offer crap for food, and usually when you need to recharge midvisit, you don’t have much to go on. McD’s may be fast food, but it’s 100x better than typical museum offerings. — Seating… lots of seating choices(there’d better be, this is one of the more popular museums). Upstairs, downstairs, doesn’t matter. It’s also bright and airy. Perfect for a quick break. — Convenience… lunch options are actually limited on the Mall. So, this is another McD’s where LOCATION makes it extra special.
