Maria The Trainer

I took a few of the rowing classes with Maria and it was excellent! She’s very patient and thorough with her instructions, but still incredibly motivating. Her instruction and workouts have become a welcome addition to my daily routine at the gym. Outside of her classes, she is very positive and encouraging when I see her around the gym! Highly recommend!

Maria the Trainer/​Role Model. I’ve been fortunate enough to know Maria for six years. In that time she has been a coach, friend, trainer, and role model. She is incredibly patient and works really hard to make sure each workout is digestible for each athlete. The last six years have been really trans-​formative for me from a fitness and personal development standpoint. Maria really got the ball rolling and continues to give me guidance when I am in a rut. she understands that everyone’s body is different and helps you figure out what workouts and nutrition work best for your body.

I was initially introduced to Maria by another trainer that didn’t fit with my chaotic schedule. At first, I wasn’t sure that Maria was up to the challenge of just dealing with my personality because I can be a bit hard headed and will push back if it’s not what I want to do. I let her know this up front and told her my main goal was to train to climb Mt. Hood in less than five months.
Maria didn’t flinch at the information I had given her, and said she was up to the task and got started right away. Having been an athlete since a young age as well as a cancer survivor, I can tell you that Maria took this all in stride and utilized my strengths and weaknesses to transform my body into a better working machine.
Suffice it to say, I’m confident Maria can take on the toughest of challenges and in turn, give fabulous results.

Maria is SO talented at what she does. She explains the movements really well and is extremely patient (as well as the loveliest of people).

Maria is a great personal trainer! She helps you work towards your fitness goals. She is very knowledgeable about weight lifting, cross fit, circuit training, boot camp, and cardiovascular endurance. Several people dread going to their personal training sessions but with Maria she makes it a great experience. When I am finished working out with her I feel like I got a satisfying workout.
I feel very comfortable working with her. She is very professional. I have been training with her for about 1.5 years. I highly recommend Maria as a trainer.

I’m a regular at the gym but was looking for something to reignite my motivation. Maria’s TRX/​rowing class did just that.
Maria coached me through the fundamentals of rowing and provided the extra motivation to get to the gym that I was missing. I would strongly recommend the class and Maria for anyone looking for something a little different in their gym routine.

Maria will whip you into shape and you won’t even notice the pain (until the next day when you can’t walk up stairs without wincing) because she’s THAT fun!
As someone who has taken both personal training sessions and attended her group boot camps, I highly recommend her as a trainer/​fitness coach. She works a variety of techniques (weight lifting, resistance training, cross fit, yoga, HIIT, rowing) into her sessions making sure you are constantly challenged.
The best part is her friendly attitude that knows exactly when to push you and when to modify a workout to best suit you. You’ll never feel like a dollar sign or a dolt with her because she takes the time to get to know you and wants you to get the most out of her workouts.
