The coffee is amazing. I love the coffee. I am sure there is no additive as it is natural. I have not seen anyone complaining while I was there for three hours. It is an absolute a nice place to taste the real test of coffee.

Nice quite place. Redone and looks amazing. Great coffee and other pastries. If you are in the neighborhood try them. Definitely better than a Starbucks.

If you are a coffee enthusiast and are ever in the DC area, must try manis café! Had a regular cup of coffee and a traditional Ethiopian one. Both were so good! Also, the owner and people that work here are super nice and gave me a history lesson in coffee. Highly recommend it!

Great coffee shop/​café.
They have traditional (strong!) Ethiopian coffee you can try as well as all the standard coffee shop drinks. They also have a number of baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, Ethiopian meals and yummy sambusas you’ll have to snag in the morning before they disappear.
Owners Mani and Dawid are so friendly and welcoming. They also got a Great Streets beautification grant and will continue to do some storefront and interior work in the next year or so – looking forward to see what design work they do with the grant.

Best café for having fresh coffee while enjoying high speed Wi-​Fi Internet service! I like the hospitality of the staff and welcoming environment in that small but clean, warming and comfortable room. I worked on my Office document and made use of the wireless printer to print my document, while at the same time sending fax messages all from the same Café. What an efficient and productive place to eat, drink, work and enjoy!
