Founded in 1987, Infostrat is Washington, D.C.‘s leader in IT Services focused on Microsoft technologies. Infostrat has provided IT Consulting Services on over 900 customer projects. Infostrat consultants hold over 120 Microsoft technical certifications and are experts in .NET application development.

History

Established in 1987.

Infostrat was named Microsoft Federal Systems 1999 Partner of the Year. We have won additional recognition from clients and partners, including certificates of commendation from the United States Marine Corps in 2004 and awards from Microsoft Mid-​Atlantic and Microsoft Federal in 2005.

In 2005, Infostrat joined the Microsoft Business Solutions Partner Program and at the same time became a Small Business Specialist. As of 2008, we have earned eight Microsoft competencies and over 100 certifications.

Meet the Business Owner

James T.

Business Owner

James J. Townsend is founder and president of Infostrat.

He has published over fifty articles and books on databases and business computing, the most recent being Building Portals, Intranets and Corporate Web Sites with Microsoft Servers (Addison Wesley, 2004) as well as Web Development with Microsoft Resources (SAMS, 1996).

He received his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and his Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
