I ordered my food and it was going smooth until the DRIVER showed up. He came into my house NOT at the door like any regular driver would and didn’t even ask to come in. Then he asks for my credit card which i already gave the woman on the phone already. He was very persistent about my card and then was like«ok fine, you pay cash then» UHHELLO didn’t I just say I already paid?! He said oh «its for security don’t worry just checking» then I get it bc i thought he just wanted to see the last 4 digits or something then he puts my card under my receipt and grabs the pen and shades in my card to get the numbers on the paper!!! I was like WHATAREYOUDOING and he kept repeating«for security» over and over again. I canceled my card immediately!!! The food on the other hand was okay, I’ve so much better. … if you want food from them, make sure you always pay cash and never deliver. OR just don’t order at all.

Food always takes an hour to deliver, even when close by. What makes matters worse, the drivers are creepy. The driver asked to see my card, I said hold on ill get it, next thing you know THISGUYISINSIDEMYHOUSE… What the heck are you doing??? Never ordering here again

The delivery guy came about 20 minutes earlier than expected, which would be a good thing except I was not expecting it and was on the phone with a client. To say that the interaction with the delivery guy was weird would be an understatement. He kept asking if I had ordered with them before and saying he would’ve remembered me, and then while I was signing he started touching my arm. I might have told him to stop except for the fact that I was on a very important phone call. At that point I decided to never order from there again. This point was hammered home when I dug in to the chicken lo mien and got a bite with a bunch of gross brown organy bits and bone. So, if you want to potentially be sexually harassed and get parts of the chicken you don’t want to eat, I would highly recommend Golden China.

I actually think the cook in the kitchen is pretty good. The pad Thai is really good. I have sampled both Asian and American fare from this establishment and the food is decent. The problem with this place occurs when you call in your order. I normally order through a Web site called«Foodler» but this is the only place that calls you back to take your order, again, by phone. So what was the point of having«Foodler». The other issue I have with them is that when you order your food, there is going to be a high probability that your food was prepared with the wrong meat selection(i. e. You ordered beef and end up with chicken). Or your order doesn’t show up with everything you ordered. Another swindle they practise. .the last time I ordered some egg drop soup $ 1.50 and includes a little bag of crispy noodles. I asked for an extra bag of crispy noodles and got charged $ 5.00 bucks! Don’t bother requesting any of the free perks that they advertise, you won’t get those either.

General Tso’s is good. Do NOT order the Mei Fun Noodles– I ordered the Singapore Mei Fun noodles and the texture was literally that of sand. Even more so I tried to call and give the feedback to them and they took no responsibility for what I had ordered which was completely inedible.

The Mystery-flyer-under-your-door strikes again… wait no, for the first time. Sometimes you just feel like American Chinese. You know, from the kind of restaurant that also sells subs, seafood, and fried chicken. MSG-less, but saucy Chinese food. A couple months ago I got the flyer for Golden China under my door. I thought that was serious dedication, as I live on the higher floors of a building with security and multiple fob check points. One evening disappointed with the options on seamle$$ and grub-huh-b(and Chinatown where I live, for that matter) I decided to try Golden China. Small portions of most dishes are about $ 6 – 7, and there’s free delivery for orders of $ 10 or more. Not much risk. The food came in a blazing fast 30 minutes later, with the delivery driver coming(once again) right to my door. Seriously, how do they do this? Good tip coming your way for not making me go all the way down. The food was fresh and hot, with more vegetables than I expected. The rice(only slightly overcooked) was in those tiny little containers, so I could choose how much I wanted. Better, I didn’t feel like cr@p later and the next day — suggesting that they indeed don’t use MSG. Now I got a go-to American Chinese delivery that will deliver two reasonable meals for under $ 15. Awesome. Just remember to keep your expectations reasonable. Edit: I love their fried chicken too.

I didn’t really like this place, but my fiancé seemed to enjoy it. We ordered the General Tso’s combo platter, shrimp yat gaw mein, and an extra egg roll. I thought the egg roll tasted funny, so my fiancé ate mine. The fried rice and chicken was pretty good and well seasoned. I thought the shrimp and noodles were a little bland and watered down. Overall, we were full, but wasn’t anything great to write home about. Free delivery was a plus.

So I’ve lived in SS for over 3 years and I’ve tried Chinese delivery from most places. I keep going back here. No one can make boneless spare ribs like these folks can. But, this is my first Unilocal post and it’s not just because of their food. Last week I ordered friend dumplings and they forgot the sauce. I was annoyed when I called and they said next time you ordered you’ll get them free(I figured they’d forget)…but as soon as I gave my address and ordered them she knew they would be free. Good food, human mistake… remembering the mistake and fixing it…5 stars

This is by and large standard American-Chinese fare, the kind you’ve had about a thousand times in your life in college or on Monday night when you don’t feel like cooking. However, the meat is usually extremely well prepared, the food is hot and thoroughly cooked, the staff is nice and speaks very passable English, and most importantly, the rice here is actually tended to. I’ve been to places that serve rice clumps that either A) could double as bowling balls, or B) is so soft that you cannot even get the rice onto a fork before it falls apart, in which case you’d be better off using a straw to inhale the food. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are sizeable, and I always leave the restaurant, food in hand, anxiously awaiting the feast that awaits me. Not bad for a $ 6 lunch.

Every Chinese place I go to, I get the same dish every time. I get the chicken with garlic sauce. I ordered that exact dish from this place and was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place.

2.5 stars I’ve always had the urge to find out what food tasted like a restaurant that served Chinese food, subs, seafood, and fried chicken. This past Sunday, I found out and boy do I wish that I never had this urge! We ordered the pan fried noodles with beef($ 8.50), a small sweet and sour port($ 5.90) and 5 pieces of the buffalo wings with french fries($ 5.80). I was kinda disappointed that I didn’t get to add the sauce/veggies to the noodles myself when I got home. If I did, maybe the noodles wouldn’t have been so soggy. The dish was okay, kind of a little too salty for my taste. It had a good amount and variety of vegetables and the beef didn’t taste so bad. The sweet and sour pork was okay as well. The sauce wasn’t so sweet or sour, it was eh. The pork was cooked nicely, but was kind of bland. The wings weren’t bad, but weren’t spicy. The fries reminded me of the Ore-Ida crinkle cut fries and didn’t taste very fresh at all. Overall the food was okay, definitely nothing spectacular. I guess because we ordered a certain amount of food we got a free Sprite… that was a plus. The lady taking our order was pretty nice and helpful, although it was kind of hard to understand her. You had to ask her to repeat herself several times. The restaurant itself is rather small, probably about 4 tables. Next time I have an urge to eat at a restaurant that serves Chinese food, subs, seafood, and fried chicken, I’ll remember this place and fight the urge!
