Pabi does an AMAZING job! She is extremely thorough and pays attention to detail like no other. This was one of my best eyebrow threading experiences. I will definitely be back!

The job itself was good, that gets 5 stars. However, there was an incident there today that was not properly handled by the staff.
I went, signed in, there were two girls ahead of me. I went to use the restroom and came back out and another woman had come. When it was my turn, the woman who came after me went and got in the chair. I then said that I was there first and had already waited 30 minutes– I asked if she signed in. She proceeded to tell me she did not and she refused to get up. When I asked the staff about why she would be allowed to go first when I was clearly there before her– the staff responded that sorry, please just wait, and there’s actually no need to sign in.
If you literally have to STAND IN LINE and can’t go to the bathroom, why have a sign-​in sheet?! I just was appalled at the other woman’s behavior who was clearly not used to acting her age– but also appalled at the customer service of the staff who did not tell her that there is a process and that I had clearly signed in at least 15 minutes before that woman even arrived! Treat your customers better!

Pretty disappointed since this place got such good reviews. I think maybe they’re just not man-​friendly. Did not offer me the frequent buyer card– only saw they do that on the reviews here after the fact :(

Quick, cheap, and my eyebrows look on point. It took her less than 10 minutes to fix up my Groucho Marx eyebrows. I will be back every time I need my eyebrows done.

Just awesome. No wait, clean place, and she did a great job with hardly any explanation. $ 12 thread and she was quick quick quick. They have a frequent buyer card that I will be using because I will def be back!

Amazing! I’ve had my eyebrows threaded all over the place and this was by far the best. The woman who works Wednesday is amazing– she is fast and uses a technique that is practically painless. So happy to have found this place!

This is my first time ever writing a Unilocal review but I just had to share the magic that is DuPont Threading. I just moved to DC about a month ago and was letting my eyebrows grow out until I could find a reasonably priced threading salon, which is difficult to find in DC since most places wax (my skin is too sensitive for wax), so my brows looked a hot mess, and that’s being generous. Although it is a tad difficult to locate the entrance, DuPont Threading is a cute, comfortable and friendly place where you can quickly — and in a painless manner (I have a very low tolerance for pain) — get your eyebrows looking right; perfect shape, thickness, etc. This will definitely become a staple in my beauty routine.

Still similar to a Ford Factory but my experience at this location has been much more pleasant than the the Dupont location. I also experience consistent results and the ladies are a tad bit more personal than their Dupont Circle counterparts.

Don’t bother going if you are within ¹⁰⁄₁₅ mins of closing they won’t take you even if the store is suppose to be «open». They do a descant job at eyebrows but close the door and send people away if you are even close to when they are suppose to close. They told me they won’t take me twice so annoying.

They had an attitude with me when I went and when I got home to really look at my eyebrows I didn’t love it. Could have stayed at the mall kiosk and paid $ 15 less. Womp.

The Only Reason I Gave This Place 4 Stars Was Because I Had To Have The Lady Go Back Over A Specific Area Twice. She Was More Than Accomodating To Fix Whatever My Issue Was, And I Was Satisfied With My Outcome!

No matter how long I wait btwn visits they always fix it. I like Threads (only on Lst) but DuPont on Penn is my go to. Totally a slept in place I’ve only ever waited twice.

I absolutely love going to Dupont Threading to get my eyebrows done. I have thick eyebrows and like to keep them that way. The threader that is there on Thursdays totally understands how I like my eyebrows and keeps them thick and doesn’t try to over shape them, like some threaders do. I don’t know her name, but she’s the best!!! I’ve been going to Dupont Threading for about a year and am a very satisfied customer. It’s a very professional and clean environment. Also, they have a rewards card, so to speak. If you come 10 times, on the 11^th time, you can get your brows done for free! I just got my free service yesterday. Sooo what are you waiting on? Beautiful brows at a great price await you!

Been looking for a good threader near me south of the Anacostia for a while. So happy I found this place. Thank u Unilocal!The reviews were spot on.
I have sensitive skin and cannot do wax. I was occasionally going to the local brow art in the mall but I usually just did them myself with tweezers or a straight edge razor .they weren’t bad but thank God for brow pencils and gels. I like how clean and sharp they were able to get my brows. I’m trying to grow them out and she cleaned me up very nicely. I’m very glad I took a chance. It’s convenient, I had no wait (came on a Friday around 4), and loved the results. Worth every penny. Better than a lot of more expensive fancy shmancy places. So happy to find an establishment with reasonable prices AND excellent estheticians.

I have come here now twice. It’s very convinient to my work. Parking isn’t great but you can’t beat 12 bucks in dc for a fab quick brow threading. Super quick and not expensive. This has become my go to since moving from Baltimore! Kudos!

It’s always a bit nerve-​wracking to get my eyebrows done at a new place. I’ve been scalded by hot wax, had pencil-​thin results, and have had to clean up numerous messy jobs on my own at home, with tweezers. So I always kind of hold my breath and hope the beautician knows what she’s doing.
This was definitely one of those experiences, having never gone here before, but the results were AMAZING! I prefer threading to waxing because my skin can be sensitive and the redness goes away much more quickly after threading. It also really doesn’t hurt, just a bit of a tickle, and they can create much more definition.
I walked right in, with no appointment and had no wait. The woman was super professional, gently reminding me of where to put my hands (you have to hold your skin taut), and cleaned up all of the little hairs afterwards.
I think I’ve found myself a new threading salon!

I work over in Suitland at the Census Bureau, and I was in a bind yesterday to get my eyebrows done before I go on vacation. I wasn’t sure about any of the waxing places next to my building, and then a coworker suggested this place. I had never gotten threading done before, but he said it was worth it. We went during lunch, and it took longer to drive the 15 minutes to the shop than it did to get BOTH our eyebrows done. It was so quick and it was practically painless! I love this so much more than waxing, and the shape is so much more defined than with waxing. And it only cost $ 12, which was fine with me, since waxing is around $ 10 where I live, and these results are so much better than that! The girl who did my eyebrows was nice and very meticulous about shaping them just right. This is the only place I’m getting my eyebrows done from now on!

I’ve been here half a dozen times now and the wait has never been long. The threaders are quick & professional.
I really appreciate that they can just do a clean look & don’t try to change the natural shape of my brow too much. I also like that they trim the brow along with threading.

I’m so happy that there is a DuPont Threading close to where I live. Trying to get to Dupont has been much more difficult since I moved off the red line.
I’ve never had a wait when I’ve gone and the woman does a good job. For those who are new to threading, I highly recommend it over waxing– at least for the eyebrows.
The entrance is kind of hard to find– its right next to the door for pound coffee.
I’m docking one star because I’ve never heard about the frequent buyers card and because they have limited payment options.
That being said, I will keep going to this place because they do a great job with my brows

2^nd location, just as great. if not better! You can take the Metro to this location, but it is also much easier to find parking over here than in Dupont. Nitasha is the best at threading brows, and Bina (sp?) has done an excellent job twice for me! This location is located on the second floor, above a restaurant. It hasn’t been crowded during the few times I’ve been. I am always the ‘clean-​up’ chick who never wants that much hair removed. Nitasha knows my brow shape & face after many years, and so I still trust her the best. I would (and do) recommend this salon to anyone I know. Fast service, excellent skills, and friendly conversation to boot!
Note: Nitasha is usually only at this location on Wednesdays!
