One of the best parts of going to an amusement park as a kid was getting Dippin Dots AKA the ice cream from the future! The future is now. In a food truck. Well, van actually. There are a variety of flavors, at least 7 or 8 that I can remember along with 4 different kinds of coffee dots which I was intrigued by. They also have soft serve and dot floats, which I’ve never heard of. I am a purist so I went with the mint chocolate chip. The small is $ 3 and the large is $ 5. It was just like I remembered. Cool and delicious. While a corporate van doesn’t have the appeal of some of our local trucks I think it would be hard to resist on a hot day.
