Chamberlain Elementary Charter School

My daughter attend this shool. She started in pre-​k3 she is now in Pre-​K4… The first year i was very happy with this school… Well. I must say the teacher she had. My daughter at age 3 was able to do Pre-​k4 work and her teacher at that time continued to push her to keep her at an advance level. I was very surprised to learn that kids at that age don’t even know the ABC’s, well that’s another story. When my daughter got out of Pre-​K3 she was ready and doing all work necessary for Kindergarden but her birthday is in July she was the youngest of the class so i decided to keep her in Pre-​k4 with the plan that the new teacher was going to continue to challenge her and that she was going to attend Kindergarden for Math and Reading… That never happened. My daughter is going over the same things she went over last year, which means a lot more work for me to compensate the lack to learning at the school. I am currently working very hard to find a very school for my smart baby.
Another thing I don’t like about this school is the many days off the school has for the teacher to prepared, besides those days of school closing, they close every Friday at 1pm. Really 1pm. I think must parents work. Maybe I’m naïve… I don’t know. But this school is very unorganized. I tried calling the main school to complain but never received a return call back.
They then had the audacity to ask me to sign a paper to hold her spot. Really, I don’t think they have an issue with admission… They have plenty of spot as the school is not good at all. A lot of the staff are very unprofessional.
