This is one of the best venues in the city. The rooms are beautiful. The libraries are rich in history. There is even a satellite map that includes a little speck that is our house. Not all historical buildings have elevators. Luckily this one does!

Elegant and historic building that is great for hosting events. Perfect for parties, galas, weddings, and receptions. Picture giant white columns, beautiful ceiling, and marble floors. It’s right across the street from the Convention Center and is conveniently located and easily accessible by Metro (either Mt. Vernon Square or Gallery Place). Parking is a bit challenging to find though.
I’ve been to a number of events here at the Carnegie Library. There are nine different rooms, an upstairs level with a beautiful marble staircase, and even an 150-​seat theater, which makes it a nice venue space!
