Fun+Art+Wine with Reiko was fantastic! From the very beginning, Reiko was super easy to work with and highly responsive via email, making the planning of this bachelorette weekend activity effortless. When we arrived for the painting session, Reiko was well-​prepared for our group and offered us an excellent assortment of snacks and wine. She showed us some great painting tips and provided helpful advice when we asked for tips and tricks to create our own masterpieces. She had a great attitude and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. I typically do not write Unilocal reviews, but this was such a great experience I had to share the good word. If you’re on the fence, don’t be– this is a great activity and you couldn’t ask for a better instructor!

What a fabulous experience! Reiko was responsive and flexible from day 1 through emails, had a convenience payment method for separate registrations, and then blew us away on the day of. We had a private bachelorette party of 7, and as soon as we walked through the door (10 minutes late but she was unphased), all of our stresses and worries of the past week and city navigation that afternoon peeled away as she offered us delicious drink selections with cheeses/​crackers/​fruits. She gave us great tips without being overbearing, helped with individual questions as we all painted something unique. And it was a great space in a cozy but not cramped setting so we could all see and interact with each other. Reiko thought of EVERYTHING, down to drying stations, unlimited and numerous paint colors, palettes, and mixing tools. She refilled our drinks before we needed to ask. She took pictures of us throughout the session, and then sent us all the downloadable pictures the same night. We accidentally ran over our time, but she didn’t even bring it up before we noticed; we never felt rushed or stressed. She helped us with the group painting. She had a Sharpie pen ready for signatures in case we didn’t want to paint them. It was a cathartic, therapeutic and FUN experience creating and sharing. We had another event to go to, so we had to leave the paintings there until the next day. When we went to pick it up, she had placed all canvases in 1 big bag with bags in between so that it was super convenient to pick up and load into the car. I’ve been to paint and sip classes before, but this was at a whole new level of feeling like a VIP amongst friends with expert instructions. We went to a posh dinner, drag show, and clubbing at 2 other places, but all of the girls that night felt the painting class was the highlight of the bachelorette party weekend. We’d recommend it to anyone!

SUPER, SUPER, SUPER FUN!!! My friends and I came here as part of a bachelorette party and we all had such a blast. Reiko was nice, friendly and welcoming. The space was perfect — really clean and colorful. I highly recommend this to anyone!

I brought my family to Fun+Art+Wine last weekend for my Mom’s birthday — what a fantastic time we all had! Reiko is full of energy and makes the experience fun from the moment you arrive. The studio is very warm and inviting, and makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. The wine and snacks were plentiful, as were the painting supplies (and help from Reiko!). The entire class was perfectly executed. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Fun+Art+Wine makes for a very memorable experience. I went with a couple of girlfriends whom I haven’t seen in a while. A reunion of sorts.
The studio has so much ambiance — with the fine selection of wine, an array of cheese and crackers, the mixed genres of musical lyrics gently playing and the most vivid inspirational art work — you are set to have a great time.
For me, I know that my talent falls out of the realm of art, so I went with the attitude of just have fun. And fun I did. My pleasure was in the experience and learning. I love learning and the owner, Reiko, teaches you about color variations, techniques and so much more.
And I have to add a note, the owner is a delightful young lady.
I would definitely recommend this for a couples outing, team building, family date night… the possibilities are endless. I’m going to have arrange for a Mother/​Daughters day with my girls.

Fun+Art+Wine is frankly one of the best experiences I have ever had exploring my more «creative/​artistic» side. Reiko is absolutely amazing in creating an atmosphere that promotes fun, learning, and most importantly respect for artists of all levels and interests. Reiko is very careful about helping participants find their inspiration, but is never overbearing nor committed to a certain method of what is «right.»
I have done Reiko’s «Pollock and Bubbles» seminar twice, and have had amazing experiences each time. Not only did I have the freedom to let my inspiration literally find its way onto the canvas, I also got to participate in a fun – and very unique – activity with my friends and boyfriend.
I cannot recommend this activity enough and encourage everyone to try it. You won’t regret it! If I can do it, anyone can!

Fun + Art + Wine is a great experience for anyone interested in art. I’ve done several sessions so far and they have all been excellent. When you arrive, the studio is set up perfectly for painting. Reiko is extremely knowledgeable about color, paints, artists, etc. and she does a great job at demonstrating techniques for you. And the complimentary and wine and cheeses are a fabulous touch to the studio session. Two thumbs up for Fun+Art+Wine!

A great experience. I went with a friend, although she might have thought reluctantly, for a date to experience Fun+Art+Wine. Perfect setting, very comfortable, like being at home getting an are lesson, with lots of wine! Reiko was very attentive and supportive to our efforts and encouraged us as we painted what was on our minds. More paint, brushes, tools, lessons, music, and wine you could ever ask for! Right away, I promised that I would send my friends there. An amazing experience and a DC jewel for a great activity. Highly recommended!

Fun + Art + Wine was such a fun outing. I did not know what to expect since I hadn’t painted since primary school, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a different experience and it allowed me to disconnect for a couple of hours. A good friend went with me and we both had a really good time — definitely laughed a lot. Reiko has an amazing spirit and was very helpful in the painting process. I recommend the Fun + Art + Wine studio to anyone looking for a new experience.
