I’ve been going to Barre3 Georgetown for a while and finally got to visit the Union Station location. Like the Georgetown location, it is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to visit this studio more often. The studios in the Union Station location have more mirrors so it is easy to check your form and see the instructor wherever you are. Noelle is a great instructor, very upbeat and helpful :) Love Barre3! They offer the most diverse class times, free community classes for new instructors so that you can give it a try without having to buy a package, and I love their props. The barre3 ball is my favorite, unlike other barre classes where the ball can be a harder and smaller medicine ball, Barre3 uses larger squishier balls and they are far better.

I’m currently halfway through my first unlimited month, and I am hooked! The location is very convenient, the staff are super friendly, the actual facility is very clean and bright, and the classes are GREAT. While the cost for a month is very high(the only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5), I am pretty confident I’ll be signing up for another month when my new client special ends. I find that compared to other barre studios I’ve taken classes at, barre 3 is more challenging as it targets deep into the muscles and is more total-body.

Excellent experience. Class was tough and enjoyable. Studio is clean and beautiful. And I loved the fact that they had secure lockers and a well stocked locker room. The only downside is I wished they had a smartphone app to manage class registration! I will be back.

I LOVEBARRE3! My friend got me interested in it last year and Unilocal really got me hooked when they offered at class in Georgetown as part of last year’s Fit Club. It’s a low impact total body workout that will really get your body going whether you’re taking a class early in the morning or later in the evening. They offer a ton of modifications too, so you’ll always get an effective workout. This location is near Union Station, on the SEC and Kaiser Permanente side. This location is extremely convenient to my job, so I finally got a membership so that I could go more often. There are 2 studios in this location and class times that work with any schedule. Classes fill up quickly, but they get people off the waitlist just as fast. I got off the waitlist for a class that I was #13 on the waitlist less than a week before it was scheduled, so you never know. The facility has a unisex bathroom with a shower as well as a women’s locker room with a shower. They also have childcare services offered for certain class times if you need that. I’m so glad this location is open & I can’t wait to take many more classes here!

After attending a month of Barre3 classes, I’m ready to give a full review! I love this studio, the teachers and front desk staff are so nice, warm, and friendly. I love how the pretty and clean studio, and the cute limited merchandise they have in case you wanted to sport barre3 merchandise from head to toe. Facing 2nd St, there are two rooms and they offer a handful of evening classes. All the teachers are great and deliver fun, high energy, intense classes that let me feel the burn! I find myself actually breaking out a sweat and shaking the entire class, and I love it! I’ve noticed some improvements in my abs, which has never happened in my life. However, I find the room too cold in some classes, and it’s hard to feel the heat with the AC is turned up & ceiling fans blowing in your face. They even offer a cute enclave with babysitting services for some classes. There are showers available(one in the locker room & one private one) stocked with eco-friendly, aromatherapy products. I love the fluffy towels, serious hairdryers — sometimes I forget I’m in a studio, not a spa. ;)

A friend encouraged me to give a class a try and I’m so glad that I did. I’ve never done this particular type of workout that seemed to be a mix of small intense movements using a squishy ball, tiny weights with some yoga and pilates moves. The workout was challenging to say the least. The instructor, Omoro, was amazing. She was encouraging, upbeat, and motivating. Her fun and positive attitude made the challenge worth it.

Wow, this studio is beautifully designed! A fantastic space with lots of natural light and expansive mirrors without obstructive columns. It’s on a street without too much foot traffic and quite conveniently accessible from union station metro. I just took my class with Stephanie and this girl is a slayer. Her workouts are tough but gives so many pointers for modifications or ways to increase the intensity even more. She has such a warm personality that motivates you to keep pushing just a little more. Even with a packed class, she provides individual adjustments and guidance. She encourages you the whole time and the hour flies by! Unfortunately, the only downside is that there is only one shower in the women’s locker room but it’s quite spacious with various products to freshen up. Can’t wait to check out the other instructors!
