Description

Specialties

I specialize in training dogs who are large and energetic and puppies to be obedient using positive reinforcement techniques. I love «out of control» dogs and puppies because their energy can be directed into obeying commands.

I’ll teach you step-by-step how to train your dog to be happily obedient in any situation and how to resolve problems.

If you are too busy to train your dog, let me. Afterwards I’ll show you how to maintain your dog’s good behavior.

My name is Mary Klein and my dog training business is named after Andy, my 100-pound German Shepherd.

History

Established in 2011.

Ask Andy the Dog specializes in training large, energetic dogs and puppies. Dog trainer Mary Klein loves «out of control» dogs and puppies because their energy can be directed into obeying commands.

Klein’s business is named after her 100-pound Germany Shepherd, Andy vom Fichtenschlag. With Andy, she earned four rigorous obedience titles in Germany. Andy twice scored the highest number of points in trials. Two judges singled him out for his happy, cooperative performance. Andy is her fourth German Shepherd.

Klein has been professionally training dogs for 10 years and has studied with several of Europe’s top dog trainers while living in Germany. She has combined the best of their ideas with her own training methods.

Klein believes that the best way to select a dog trainer is to watch that person training her own dogs. For videos of Klein training her dogs, please go to: www.askandythedog.com

Business Owner

Mary Klein has professionally trained dogs for 10 years and has studied with several of Europe’s top dog trainers while living in Germany. She has combined the best of their ideas with her own training methods.

Klein believes that the best way to select a dog trainer is to watch that person training her dog. Does the dog come running at top speed through a group of other dogs to its owner when called once? Does the dog heel perfectly in a crowded park or past a group of children? Does the dog down & stay despite distractions? Is the dog happy while being trained?
