Dr. Teitzman has been my dentist for the past 3 years. He is very professional and kind with his patients, understanding that the dentist can still be a harrowing experience past childhood. Instead of wanting to fill trouble spots the moment he sees them(aka bill your insurance and make you pay co-pay), he waits and monitors them to see if they improve or go away. He has a great memory and will ask you about your life, family, etc. on following visits. I’ve had a dental emergency in the past, and his staff have made the effort to squeeze me in on the same day. Speaking of the staff, Keisha and Paul are SO wonderful and make the experience of going to the dentist a little easier. It doesn’t hurt Dr. Teitzman is a UF grad — GOGATORS!

Dr. Teitzman is my orthodontist as well as my dentist. He nice and professional and knows his stuff and takes the time to explain what he’s going to do before he does it. He does not wear a mask during exams though and I worry that spit will fly directly from his mouth into my wide-open mouth at some point. I also worry that he touches the computer mouse in the exam room with gloves on and then will touch the inside of my mouth with the same hand(could possibly transmit bacteria this way). Wonder if they disinfect the mouse between every patient?

I’ve been going to Dr. Teitzman for years, as have my husband and two sons. He thoroughly explains what he his doing and why and never tries to sell unnecessary dental work. His entire office staff is very pleasant and combined, they make the visit enjoyable.

Have been going to Dr. Teitzman for several years now. I’d say the closest Metro is Capitol South(just a few blocks away) rather than Eastern Market. The office is located on the ground floor of the Fairchild building, with its own entrance on the side. Dr. Teitzman is thorough and fair. Instead of automatically wanting to «drill,» he’ll monitor the development of trouble areas over time and only fill a cavity when he needs to. He also cleans your teeth by «blasting» a fine powder onto them — he demonstrates its effectiveness by showing how much build-up it removes on a penny. Very cool! The office manager, Keisha, is also very professional and a resource when dealing with insurance issues, etc. All in all, a great practice!
