Adrian is the best real estate agent one could ever have. The best. Period. Hire him, now. We’re (my husband and I) tempted to make this one of the shortest reviews on Unilocal because that says it all. But we’ll expound.
Adrian was our agent during our first home-​buying experience. It was a seller’s market — all desirable homes had multiple offers, often bought with cash. Not only was it a competitive market, but we couldn’t pay cash and we were rookies on the real estate playing field — closing costs, contingencies, appraisals, etc. were foreign to us. Adrian walked us through it all with great patience and transparency, enabling us to make informed and intelligent decisions.
He was part teacher, part navigator, part negotiator, part real estate therapist, and part coach. It was incredible. He is amazingly knowledgeable about the DC residential real estate scene and what it takes to get a home here, and he stays up-​to-​date constantly. For example, he had us lined up to see the house we eventually had the opportunity to purchase hours after it was listed. We would have been inside 30 minutes after it was listed, but he had to wait until we got home from work. We were literally the first potential buyers to tour the home and that night Adrian made sure we were also the first offer, sitting with us, laptop in hand, until late into the night crafting the offer and talking us through what he was doing and the next steps we should expect. Then getting on the phone — multiple times — with the seller to negotiate on our behalf. We are certain that if Adrian had not been our agent, we would not have our amazing house today.
He was also extremely detail oriented — best evidenced when he noticed an error in the paperwork during our closing that the seller’s lawyer (yes, lawyer!) missed (and tried to dismiss). Adrian went to bat for us and recouped $ 9,000 in closing costs for us.
What sets Adrian apart is his patience, his perseverance, his sense of humor (he is fun to be around — a quality you definitely want in someone you will spend a lot of time with hunting for homes) and his willingness to negotiate on behalf of his clients (and he is a master negotiator). He is wholly devoted to his clients, so much so that it was hard to believe we weren’t the only ones. As his client, you feel his undivided attention and you feel taken care of.
We could go on singing Adrian’s praises. But we’ll stop here. Bottom line: hire this guy. You will be so glad you did.

He patiently walked us through the intricate details of the home-​buying process and made sure we were comfortable with our decisions. Adrian is a real estate professional who truly wants what is best for his clients, and he understands that putting his clients’ interests first makes good business sense.
In addition to all this, Adrian has stayed in touch and made sure that we have everything we need as homeowners. He has recommended contractors, helped us navigate the DC bureaucracy, and given us advice on how to install window dressings. In addition to being an excellent agent in the home-​buying process, we are now happy to call Adrian a friend. If you’re thinking about buying or selling real estate in DC, I wholeheartedly recommend Adrian. You won’t be disappointed.
