Stevie D’s Auto Sales and Service

I have been going to Stevie D’s for a few years now for oil changes and just simple maintenance out of convenience. I got into an accident 2 months ago, a small fender bender so I decided to have them do the repairs. They gave my car back to me with my headlights not working and the bumper missing 75% of the clips that even hold it in place. Unbelievable, like you can’t make this stuff up.
They had to fix it 3 times to get it right, kept saying it would be done and it was not. Not to mention so many other sketchy things. STAY AWAY from this place and do not give them your business. The owner owes me $ 170 for a car rental bill for when they had to re-​fix my car, after they messed up on it. It has been almost 2 weeks of him not returning my calls or not being at the shop to reimburse me that money that he said he would.
Shady owner and they just lost a customer and hopefully future customers.

I purchased a car from them that was promised to be safe and reliable. I’m aware this isn’t a new car dealership by any means, but I did expect the car to run. I only was able to drive it home before the starter went out, it needed a new transmission, wheel bearing replacement, and a leak in which water poured in. Although at first they said they would take care of everything since I had only driven it for an hour, they then turned around and charged me for half of the repairs. Having only driven the car for an hour I should have been responsible for nothing. Do not use this dealership, they are not trustworthy.

I unfortunately purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it was the worst mistake of my life. At the time I knew nothing about cars and their values. They sold me a 13 year old honda with close to 170 000 miles for 7 grand! (I know I’m an idiot). I was only able to talk them down a couple hundred bucks. I was extremely sketched out about the mileage but the only reason I went through with the sale is because Christian, the salesman, told me that they sell a warranty service that covered pretty much almost everything. It was a 2 year warranty in which I ended up paying $ 1200 for. He made it seem like it was this awesome warranty where if anything happened all I had to do was bring it in anywhere and I’d be covered. I did some research after I purchased the car and found out that the warranty was a complete scam. The contract was written so that the third party company can find any little reason to deny your claim. So I called the warranty company and asked for a refund and they only gave me $ 500 back. Turns out that Stevie d’s paid $ 500 for the warranty and pocketed the rest of my $ 700!!! Don’t fall for this warranty scam!
I had my mechanic check the car out before I bought it and he said there was a leak coming from the AC compressor and you could tell something was wrong with it by the way it sounded. The calipers were also very rusty which I guess is normal after a while but these just looked plain terrible. So Stevie d’s agreed To swap out the rear calipers and replace the AC compressor. Turns out they didn’t even touch the AC compressor and they sprayed the calipers with a grey coating to disguise the rust. The coating ended up wearing off and I called Stevie d’s and told them they had not done the work that they had promised. Steve himself got on the phone with me and was extremely rude and hung up on me. (I have the whole conversation recorded). THEN, a week later, the car breaks down and left me stranded in the middle of the road. Stevie d’s realized this incident was really bad for business and gave me a free tow and service which I can honestly thank them for that.
I get the car back a week later and noticed a shake coming from the rear end and the check engine light had gone on which was not there before. So I brought the car back in since I was still under the 30 day dealer warranty (not the third party warranty). They called me up and said they fixed the shaking and that the check engine light came on because a wire leading up to the O2 sensor was stripped which was a complete lie. They turned the light off before they handed the car back to me. I brought the car in AGAIN because they hadn’t fixed the shaking. They kept my car at their shop for the last 8 days of my warranty. After leaving me without a car for another week, I asked them what had been done and they said they did a front alignment which I had to pay for. It took them over a week to do a front alignment! Sounds to me like they were holding my car in their shop for as long as possible so I could stop bothering them after the warranty was up. I finally get the car back on the last day of my warranty and the shaking is still there and the check engine light came back on a few days later. They lied to me, they were rude, and left me without transportation for almost three weeks out of those 30 days after buying the car.
Stay away from these people. Christian is extremely misleading, the owner Steve is rude, a liar, a thief, they’re overpriced and won’t negotiate a reasonable price, and DO NOT fall for their warranty service.
I made a huge mistake by financing an older car with high mileage and I’ll totally take fault for that but I can not take fault for the terrible experience that these people put me through. I ended up having to paying the car off in 8 months instead of 36 months because it kept needing repairs and I needed to get rid of it. I sold it on Craigslist for $ 3500 because it was the best offer I could get anywhere. I lost half my money just like that. I ended up financing another car from south Easton motor sales in MA. I got a much newer civic with just 70,000 miles for the same amount of money that I paid at Stevie d’s.
I hope this guy goes out of business.

I saw a Ford pickup on the lot. The salesman offered it to me for $ 5,000. I asked if I could have my own mechanic look at it. After returning from my mechanic and agreeing to take the truck, they refused to sell it to me for less than $ 6,000. What a Bush League move !
While waiting for an answer from the owner about the price change, a salesman commented on how «This happens all the time»… WOW
Kinda glad it worked out that way. I only wish they hadn’t wasted half my day.

I went to look at used car that was described as «mechanically sound. We have our own mechanics here so we know.» I took the car to an indepent dealer and guess what — the car needed more than $ 1,000 of work. Once it was up on the lift even I could see the issues. So I guess I wouldn’t depend on their word re: quality.

I went to look at a car and met with the salesperson Christian. He is a great guy and he doesn’t pressure you into anything. The cars on the lot are pretty good, but a little over priced. Don’t expect to be able to talk them down too much. I got $ 200 off of what they were asking. Apparently all offers go through the owner, Steve. Do not deal with this man directly! I had the «pleasure» of meeting him when Christian was at the other lot and man was this guy a douche bag. Pompous, arrogant, and plain rude. I may have actually bought the car if I didn’t end up meeting him.
