Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum BYOB restaurants are nice and the food here was top notch. My pine encrusted salmon was delicious, although I should have gotten the mashed potatoes instead of asparagus, and my wife said her soup was so good she wished she could have taken some home to go. It’s a fairly small place so make sure to make reservations, bring your favorite alcoholic drink, and enjoy!

We had a wonderful experience tonight. Wednesday’s and Thursday’s are the 2 for $ 39.95 deal. Add a dessert for 6 $ more. The food was pretty darn good. Cozy ambiance and great service. We loved Kim. She was fantastic and so friendly. To top it off its byob. How can you get any better?!? We’ve been living 5 min away for a few years now and finally tried it out. We’ll definitely be back.

This is a very good restaurant. It is small so a reservation is recommended. We had the flatbread app, chicken parm and scallops. There were 7 small scallops which had a good flavor. The chicken parm came with 2 breasts and penne. The chicken was tender and the sauce was nice and sweet! This is a byob but very accommodating. They popped open our beers, brought us beer glasses and stored our remaining beer in the fridge! I would highly recommend and will return.

Simply fantastic! It is one of the best BYOB places in the state. I have been here twice and both times it has been wonderful. On Wednesday and Thursdays(both times I have come), they have a 2 for $ 40 special which comes with your choice of soup or salad, chef’s featured appetizer(2 or 3 choices), and entrée(around 6 or 8 choices). All the food is made from scratch and made to order. There is also outstanding foccaccia bread and olive oil on the table to start the meal. The last time I went I had the salad with the house dressing(a delicious balsamic), we split the mussels fra divalo which were awesome, I used the bread to soak up some of the sauce. For my entrée I had the pasta bolognese which was also outstanding. The portion was huge so I had lunch for the next day as well. Along with the excellent food, the service was great. Our server was very personable and of top of everything. If you are looking for great Italian food, give Sophia’s a shot and I highly recommend going on a Wednesday or Thursday night!

Great great restaurant! The food is fantastic, every time I try a new dish I find another favorite. I also love the fact that it’s BYOB. Whenever we schedule a work get together Sophias is everyone’s first choice.

Food was really really good… 4⁄5 stars because I don’t feel like the experience/service matches with the prices of their menu.

Very small and elegant as they say. Kind of old style and inside could be updated! But great service and food is out of this world. It’s BYOB. I don’t drink much but this is a plus… There Sunday breakfast is really really good also. One of the best around and all fresh

I have been here a few times with friends and/or family and have never had a less than exceptional experience. This is a BYOB so if you want an adult beverage, bring your own. There is a corking fee for wine, even if it’s a screw top. That’s how that works: they aren’t being mean. On Wednesday and Thursday(at the time of this review) they have a meal for two for $ 39.95. Choose an appetizer to share, soup or salad and an entrée each. There are LOTS of entrée options too. You can view the menu here: It’s really a great deal! The waitstaff are very personable and attentive, without hovering. The food is ah-maze-ing! Everything I’ve had here has been tasty, perfectly cooked and well presented. DEFINITELY make a reservation. Even if the room looks empty, if they tell you there is no table available, it means in half an hour the place will be full to capacity. Even on a Wednesday Night I make reservations just to be sure we get a table. The dining room has both booths with high backs and low top tables. If you haven’t tried Sofia’s Tuscan Grille, what are you waiting for?! Make a reservation. Even if it’s last minute it doesn’t hurt to give them a call to see if there is a table free. Totally worth it. Just remember to bring your own wobbly-pop.

Ok food, small place, too loud and you have to byob. don’t think I will be back. We were asked if we made reservations but they had 6 empty tables.

I love this place. Quaint and you need a reservation most of the time because it is so small. Fantastic entres’ and their appetizers are quite tasty. Hubby doesn’t love it quite as much as I do, so I gave it a four. You can bring your own bottle, so the wine is always good :) however it would be nice if you could buy a drink.

On vacation here with my hubby from, Katy, Tx. This restaurant was recommended by a local of Warwick and she knew what she was talking about. The food here is excellent. Probably the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. Growing up in Souther California, I have had my share of good Italian food, but this is another league. I order the Scarp. and the hubby a Parmegiano and both dishes were full of flavor, pasta was cooked al dente and meats still moist and juicy. The Scarp. is mixed in with a rosemary and lemon butter sauce. So good!

Stopped in for breakfast. Cozy place. The servers were polite; we didn’t wait long for the food! The food is fresh, made in house. The coffee fantastic! Had the Tuscan toast! Amazing!!! Can’t wait to go back again!

Came for breakfast, coming back for dinner. I found this place here on Unilocal while looking for B’fast early one Sun morning. Getting there early was nice, because it filled up fast while we were there. The ambiance, décor, cleanliness and the food and service was wonderful. Had some apple crepes, YUM. I also had eggs, with all the fixings and it was delicious. Try the in house made bread. Recommend highly.

This place has been on our list for some time, lots of recommendations! The food was authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. I don’t eat red meat or seafood and sometimes chicken can be boring, not here! The chicken was full of flavors and to die for! Go here!

I’ve been here twice while traveling, once for breakfast, and again for dinner. I have to say the food is outstanding. Both the pasta and seafood dishes are beautifully presented and unique. On my most recent visit, I had a pine nut-encrusted salmon that was exceptional, and we started off with a homemade gnocchi appetizer. My mother actually commented she wanted to lick the plate. The BYOB adds a fun dimension. Out-of-towners can purchase bottles from places like the Newport Vineyards(about 30 minutes away) and enjoy their meal with the wine of their choice. Reservations are recommended! This place gets incredibly busy, especially on the weekends.

I went here for my wife and I’s 3-year wedding anniversary because we were told it was excellent and it’s really close to our house. They have a special on Wednesday and Thursday nights. It’s a dinner for two for $ 39.95 which includes a soup/salad for each of you, an appetizer to split and an entrée for each of you. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. I got a pasta bolognese which was pretty good. My wife got the sirloin and it was probably one of the worse cuts I’ve ever tasted. No flavor and very tough. The restaurant does let you bring your own wine if you’re into that though which is nice. There’s a $ 2.00 corking fee per person. The service was mediocre. Not sure I’ll be back to this place.

The place was smaller than I expected but not without a certain charm and ambience inside. The staff was more than friendly and helpful make you feel like part of the family. According to the staff the restaurant has been there for 10 years running, but under new management in the past 2 years, I don’t know how it was before, but I really enjoyed it. The staff was excellent, Cameron our waiter went thru the menu with us and the special. Had the encrusted salmon with a vinaigrette reduction… just have to say mmmmm. Really enjoyed the whole evening there.

My husband and I became regular visitors of Sophia’s when we lived in Warwick, RI. Every time it has been wonderful! Our most recent visit was on Valentine’s day! I had the espresso crusted sirloin and my husband had the baked stuff shrimp. We also decided on their specility calamari and aracini for the evening off of their speciality menu. Everything was great. Service was a bit slow this last time, but usually on point. Also, the staff responds to any questions via FB. It’s a tiny place, make sure to get a reservation and if 21+, BYOB!

Something you may not know about Sophia’s, they do breakfast of Sundays! There is nothing worse than going to one the«normal» spots for breakfast only to have it be overrun, super busy and tell you that you will have to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The nice thing about Sophia’s is that the establishment is small and not everyone knows about this great breakfast secret and you can get in with limited to no wait and go straight to enjoying your breakfast. My husband and I went a few weeks ago to meet up with another couple and were really pleased with the service and the food at Sophia’s. I had perfectly portioned french toast and my husband had blueberry creeps(which I was jealous of). Our friends both had egg dishes and there was not a complaint from anyone at the table. We were all about to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is really relaxed at home style with a fine dining flair. Also, not about breakfast so much, but Sophia’s is BYOB which I think is a really great selling point. They offer great specials and overall is a great restaurant in a somewhat hidden location in Warwick If you are in the area and looking to try something new, Sophia’s will not disappoint.
