I ordered the steak and asked for it to be cooked medium well. It was served medium rare. I asked for the sides to be kept warm while they continue to cook the steak. The potatoes were like warm and the broccoli was cold. Our waitress asked my spouse if she was having any desert while I was still eating. I mentioned to the waitress that my broccoli was cold. Her reply was I’m sorry. We had to speak to the manager about it and they were observed discussing the issue prior to the manager approaching us.

Stayed at the Sheraton. Wanted dinner, takeout, so decided to get pizza. Got the special – ordered a Sporky pizza and cheese pizza, both for about $ 25. This was about the most bland pizza I’ve ever eaten and then to top it off the edges were burned. Not just brown, but black. Not sure if this was because it was the special or just a bad night for the cook staff, but I would go somewhere else.

Stopped in for a quick pizza with my mom. The bread was hot out of the oven and delicious. I ordered a pizza«well done» as I normally do at other pizza restaurants, but it came out overdone and burnt/dried out. The dough is different here and fresher, not saturated in oils, so maybe well-done doesn’t go over so well. My bad. Either way, the waitress was awesome about the whole thing and brought us out another pizza that was perfect. A manager or supervisor, I presume, came by and asked how everything was and even served us our first slices. I work in hospitality so customer service ranks high with me, and they delivered along with the excellent food!

I hate to do this but I have to downgrade my original rating. Our family used to love this place for a casual lunch or dinner. I thought the food was great even though it is a chain. Over the last couple of years they’ve made so many changes to the menu it’s virtually unrecognizable. Gone are the panini sandwiches I loved. They used to offer a salad with most of the meal options, now it is very limited. Salad is an extra charge for most menu items. Our last visit finally prompted me to update my review because I believe they’ve changed their bread or dough recipes. I noticed that the delicious bread that they serve before dinner tasted a little bland. Ok, sometimes mistakes happen. But then I was extremely disappointed in the small margherita pizza I ordered: the crust was tasteless, the tomatoes were tinny and they were very skimpy on the cheese. My husband was disappointed with the rigatoni abruzzi he always orders, it came heaped with cheese as never before. If this was a one-time thing I would have chalked it up as a bad day. But as I said it seems like there have been a lot of gradual changes that have made this place into something I don’t really recognize anymore. Unfortunately, I’m not sure we’ll be back.

Is it too much to ask that plastic utensils and napkins can be included in to-go orders? Also, when requesting rolls, should butter be included? Is it me? Are my expectations too high?

Love Bertuccis, hated this joint. Was staying at a local hotel and we ordered the pizza verde, and chicken parm. We ordered plates and extra bread. We picked up our order in 10 minutes. everything was freezing cold! The chicken parm was disgusting, and we could see the frozen cheese, hadn’t melted completely yet, pizza was frigid, and I wouldn’t even eat it. Rolls(that are typically piping hot) tasted like they were made yesterday. Worst was my husband(who tipped $ 5 for take out) ordered extra plates and utensils, and got none! I ate chicken parm, and pasta with my hands. Screw this place!

The bread they give you initially is a warm roll that can be dipped in olive oil, cheese, red pepper. The salad was served on an ice cold plate with fresh greens. Both were great. I am not a big chain restaurant fan but this entire meal and the service was great! Initially I had ordered the veggie pizza on multigrain dough, substituting the spicy cherry peppers for regular peppers. The waitress came over with everyone’s food and told me they made an error and had ommitted the cherry peppers and made the pizza on white dough. She stated that they put the correct pizza in the oven but wanted me to be able to eat with everyone else until it was ready if I wanted. I thought this was great! I ate a slice while waiting then took the entire pizza home since I had a new one. I thought this type of service was great and the pizza was so flavorful! If you like the thin crust brick oven pizza, this is one of the best and combining this with the bread and salad you can’t go wrong. For those of you with kids, they have a kids eat free on Wednesday nights too!

My husband and I shared a margarita pizza and really enjoyed our bread and dip that came out beforehand as well as the pizza. Casual enough while still feeling like a fun date night and the fresh made breads and doughs make for a delicious night out.

Its a chain. Thumbs down. Its an Italian restaurant on the East Coast. Thumbs up. (Those of us who live in Texas and get truly mediocre Italian masquerading as Tuscany’s gift to the world — find total liberation when we go to the East Coast and get REAL Italian food.) The pasta dishes I have had here totally trump anything I can get back home. Is this the best Italian food in Rhode Island? I doubt it — But I’ll take it. And happily too.

Came here after a poor experience down the street(I was still hungry). The bartender and hostess was awesome. Food was pretty good!

My boss was leaving from PVD and wanted to meet for lunch prior to his departure. We tried to go to Hooters but according to their sign, they are closed due to snow damage… really? Either way, we entered Bertucci’s and were quickly greeted and seated. The waiter was competent and pleasant. He quickly took our drink and food order. We had soup in front of us within 2 miniutes(which was really good… italian wedding). Our sandwiches were delivered shortly thereafter. Our drinks were never empty and the waiter’s presence was not too much or too little. Not a bad spot.

Always great pizza and service. If your looking for some brick oven pizza, a good antipasto, and some sweet watermelon iced tea, this is the place to go!

Went in for a quick dinner. Seated promptly at requested booth. Quick and friendly service. Their warm rolls and olive oil are awesome! I had Caesar salad with chicken and my date had a cheese pizza. Both were extremely delicious. Definitely will return to try other types of pizza.

We ordered several different dishes. All were very good(veggies, soup, salad), except the side order of pasta. The pasta took typical 10 – 12 minutes to deliver. My wife and I assumed that Bertuccis would cook the pasta to order, as that is the norm in the industry and as it took 10 – 12 minutes to deliver. Yet, some of the pasta on the plate were dry and hard and some were fresh and chewy. We concluded that Bertuccis is either: — cooking the pasta and keeping it under the heat lamps for hours until someone orders or — serving leftover pasta from the other customers. Another issue: At the bottom of my receipt(from the last night’s dinner), it states that«Receive a special $ 5 offer to use on your next visit». I filled out the survey form and I received an e-mail. The coupon I received in the e-mail states that I need to spend $ 25 to use this $ 5 off. This is truly misleading and illegal. It is yet another bait and switch program by Bertuccis.

Place has decent food. I always order online and pick it up since I’m in a hotel and do not want to eat alone. Its always been ready on time and everyone has been friendly. Tonight though I had to wait 15 mins past the time it was supposed to be ready, carry out girl seem very flustered, never said anything to me in those 15 mins about why I was still waiting. It didn’t look busy and I just waited patiently and didn’t say anything. I watched them put my food there, she was on the phone. Someone came to help to a call and than went back to whatever she was doing. She than bagged some other peoples food and ran around waiting for my small salad. So my hot food waited around for a salad. She apologized and I left. The salad was better than the food this time.

I love their wood grilled goodness in creating their yummy pizza pies when they get it right… but golly… The food here is just NOT consistent. I’ve been here three times in the past month and the pizza had been too crispy, too underdone and once… Just right. No manager table visit for either misstep. Not looking for a comp but I think it’s nice when the person in charge comes over to check that everything was fixed. At $ 12 for a small pizza, there are so many options out there at other joints who do a similar job. The kids love it here because they get a blob of bread dough to play with. The rolls are so tasty. .Hot and crusty outta the wood oven. Service is meh. This one is out of the rotation. At least for now.

I will never go here again. Once we were seated we put in our drink order and noticed about 50 fruit flies flying around our table! It was absolutely disgusting! Once letting our server know she moved us across the restaurant into the back. As We were sitting at our new table I noticed on the wall there were about 10 fruit flies smushed into the wall. We asked for a food to go, The server never apologize for the inconvenience and no manager ever came over to apologize. Still paid for my $ 60 bill and ate at home. And on top of that the food wasn’t even that great. I was so aggravated I ended up emailing the corporate office. I received an email back with just an apology no compensation. I highly recommend not eating here, If you’re in the area go check out dohertys.

Great pizza for a chain. Fresh ingredients, great tomato sauce, doesn’t give you heart burn or drowned in salt like most places do. I love the margarita pizza and my 6 year old step son loved the fried mozzarella appetizer. Service was professional and personable. Overall a good experience, definitely put it on your pizza bucket list!

Meh, I’ve definitely had better. I ordered a new menu item, Jambalaya Pasta. The sauce was ok, shrimp, chicken and sausage good, but the pasta was the worse I’ve ever had. Tasted like it was homemade but not cooked properly. Had a weird consistency. I couldn’t eat it. Even my 4 year old grandson sent back his runny Mac & Cheese. Now that says something. Their rolls were good. Waitress was nice, but slow. Food took way too long to come out. This is the second time I’ve come here with family. Not a fan. The bill for 3 adults and 2 small kids came to $ 120 with tip. So not worth that. My advice. Buy a pound of pasta, a jar of sauce and cook at home. $ 5 you can feed your whole family.
