I used this company a few years ago but they are on my mind every once in awhile because they ripped me off and never made it right. Be careful because they charge per hour rather than per job (at least they did when I used them) which leaves little incentive to be efficient. My experience was that the guys came, set up and started to clean up pretty early. It would take them a few hours to clean up– the longest daily cleanup of any contractor I have ever worked with. When I was home one day they left at 1:30 but charged me for a full day! I brought it to the owners’ attention and he said he would adjust the bill. He did not and when I realized it and asked him about it he said he would leave a refund check on my front porch in a box I had out there. He left the check unsigned. I asked him about this and he said he would get me signed one. He never did. In my book that is stealing. The painting was fine but I would never recommend this company because they ripped me off. Check your times and your bill if you have worked with this company.
They may have taken money from me that they did not earn but I will always remember them as the company that ripped me off and advise people against using their services.
I see Mike the owner, is saying this is a bogus review. It is definitely not. I think this is how he deals with negative reviews as you will see a similar comment on his other negative review. I try to be fair and give people a chance. Please look at my other reviews– you will see that I am legit. I get tired of companies like this one taking advantage of people. I told Mike I did not even want my money back– not that he offered. It was awhile ago so maybe donating to someone in dire straights would have been good but that was not offered either. I just think people better look at their paperwork when dealing with him. In my case he charged me for hours that were not worked and then gave me an unsigned check– never replacing it when asked.

Adams Custom Painting just finished painting the interior of my house, and did an excellent job. They are very professional in every regard — I was most impressed with the quality of their work, and recommend them highly.

I had this contractor come over and give a bid on painting several rooms and their estimate was around 40%-60% higher than three other painting contractors and I felt that I was getting gouged and that they were just plain greedy. Who can afford a hundred bucks per hour per painter?!? Needless to say I hired another. My 2 Cents
Note: I have received creepy emails from this owner. This is MY opinion and observations. Two painters for the full day 8 hrs — divided by the cost of the labor (only) equals the gross labor cost of what those two painters charged for a sum of 15 – 16 labor hours. What the business pays them is likely much, much less. I say keep your rates or lower your rates as it is your business!

Our deck was WAY past due for being re-​stained. Adam’s came out and did an estimate (we got estimates from three other companies as well) which was fair and reasonable. We hired them to do the work and were extremely pleased with the results. Not only does the deck look great (they power-​washed it and applied new stain), but the work was done quickly and on-​time as promised. AND the final invoice was less than the original quote. Definitely planning on using Adam’s for future handyman-​type needs. Highly recommend them!
