History

Established in 1900.

In 1974, the Library, along with the municipal offices of Warren, were moved to the Village School House. Now known as the Warren Public Library, the facility had 1,000 books which were cataloged according to standard library procedures with the help of volunteers and Librarian Lois Kaufmann. In 2004, Deborah Kahn was hired as the Library’s new Librarian. In 2009, the Library moved to the Warren Town Hall, to accommodate the need for a significantly larger space.
