History

Established in 1982.

Nearly 50 years ago, John Donofrio had a vision for a communications network in Rhode Island’s East Bay. He incorporated Full Channel in 1965 and began working immediately to develop the platform which would become broadband in Rhode Island. In 1982, Full Channel opened its doors on Everett Street in Warren, delivering cable TV to customers throughout Barrington, Warren and Bristol.

Today, Full Channel remains family-​owned and is a full-​service TV, Internet and phone provider to the towns of Barrington, Warren and Bristol.

After being a 3-​year loyal Full Channel customer I switched to Cox Cable because Full Channel internet was slow despite upgrade and numerous service calls. I brought all the equipment back to their office but they claim I didn’t bring back one item so now it’s their word against mine. Terrible customer service. «Kevin» just kept repeating «When you bring it back we will close your account». Think I’ll file a complaint with the FCC.

Spoke to Josh in «customer service». Not only did he basically tell me to pound sand when I called in with questions about my mother’s absurdly priced tv/​phone/​internet package, he consistently talked over me during the call.
Full Channel is basically exploiting the elderly because where my mother lives there is no other provider available. For a cable, tv, and Internet package which is essentially basic cable even if they claim its expanded to come in over 152 dollars a month is predatory.
My Verizon bill is 160.00 p/​month with every channel in HD, every movie channel, and a 75⁄75 internet speed. They gave me the router and that 160.00 includes two HD DVR boxes. Now I’m by no means a fan of Verizon but what Full Channel is engaged in with their little monopoly at Kickemuit Village is borderline criminal and should be considered exploitation of the elderly.

Very disappointed! The tv service was greatly lacking, the remote controls didn’t work, and the internet was slow and tedious. The worst customer service ever!!! This is not inexpensive either and although they claim to be a small family owned company they don’t treat their customers well. I always would prefer to support a small company even if it costs a little more, but their customer service is worse than a large company and their product is very inferior!

I am writing this while I have been on hold for a very long time as this happens most every time I’ve called. This is only to report for the 3rd time that they have my apartment number wrong. Also, I live in a one bedroom apartment and the internet rarely reaches my bedroom. Also, there is no «On Demand» service. Every other company I know offers this. They said I could use my laptop to get «On Demand» but not my television. Unfortunately, I am unable to use any other cable company or I would. Hopefully, if you read this you will have another option. Actually I just tried to post this and my internet dropped…

A family run cable company?! Several years ago after moving to Rhode Island, I found myself looking for a cable and internet provider. I quickly discovered my provider was a company I had never heard of: Full Channel. I was initially concerned as it certainly doesn’t have the name brand «recognition» of your big providers. I called them on the phone, spoke to a real live person almost immediately who was pleasant. Within 24 hours a friendly technician showed up at my home and had me up and running. And that’s the extent of my customer service interaction with them. In 2 years, I never had a need to speak to contact them about ANYTHING… and isn’t that the way it should be? It just worked correctly. Always. Sadly, I moved away and quickly learned the previously aforementioned providers with name brand «recognition» couldn’t provide the courteous and prompt service at a fair price like Full Channel did.

Worst internet service ever… no download speed ever. I pay for the «diamond» bull… It reminds me of dialup on my 56k back in 1995… DO NOT GET!!! Plus there TV service, no on Demand… Stone Age. CANCELED
