Description

Specialties

Handyman Heroes is a multi-capability handyman business servicing North Central, and the South Coast/Upper Cape areas of Massachusetts. Our roots are in support of homeowners with small home maintenance-type projects — the kind jobs most established contractors won’t return your telephone call about — and that many property owners lack the expertise (or time) to do themselves.

We are a family owned, local (non-franchise, unaffiliated with «copy-cats» who «borrow» our name). Our business was founded in 2002 and has grown considerably during the past 10 years. We provide a full spectrum of services ranging from minor repairs, through major home renovations (bathroom and kitchen remodels, deck building & repair, as well as fire & water rehab). In 2006 we expanded our services to include a housekeeping capability (Housekeeper Heroes, Inc.) that cleans homes and tackles custom projects such as home organization, window washing, laundry as well as post-construction cleaning.

History

Established in 2002.

Founded as 1-person handyman service, has evolved into full service home renovation contractor that will still address the very small projects no other contractors will. Operating out of Townsend in north central MA & Wareham on the South Coast, upper Cape, and lower Plymouth county, we address needs of property owners within 40 minutes of each or our operational bases.

Meet the Business Owner

Paul S.

Business Owner

Paul S’s start in the home maintenance field began in the late ’60’s maintaining family-owned apartments, and continuing with 4 years working for Grossman’s in several of their stores & their door & window factory. College & grad school followed with a highly successful career in high-tech culminating in a Director’s position at famous web incubator CMGI. Founding Handyman Heroes (and Housekeeper Heroes) represents a return to his roots, where he has been able to apply many of the best practices learned in graduate school, and while working for technology industry leaders. In his increasingly rare off-hours, he can sometimes be found playing clarinet for the Longwood Symphony Orchestra in Boston, where he has served on their Board of Directors (and as past Chairman) for the last 10+ years.
