They said that They were looking for a girl who stabbed her boyfriend and ran away in a gold honda. They are dishonest, and cruel. violated my amended rights & my expectations to privacy and pointed a gun at my face, and ordered me out of my own car to make an illegal search. I did not stab anyone! I was PUMPING GAS IN MY CAR! THEY WERE WRONG AND THEY ARRESTED ME ANYWAY &&& AND IMPOUNDED MY CAR! If your driving in the walnut/​diamond bar area, I suggest people have a audio video recorder attached to your vehicle at all times, you’ll wish you did when you bump into these guys!

I know it is a stereotype to say cops are corrupted and power hungry jerks, but if I may share my experiences with the cops of diamond bar then you could understand how this stereotype is almost always true.
Not only do they love giving street sweeping tickets before street sweeping hours, but they also drive like inconsiderate jack-​offs. On very rare occasions will you see a cop car use their signal lights in this city. Once they almost crashed into me doing an illegal u-​turn without signalling or using sirens, then after they turned they were driving all slow like they own the streets. When my friend visits from Orange county she says she hates driving near the cops because they constantly break the street rules without any real excuses. Also racial profiling is a common thing here, I can’t tell you how many times a cop stalked me while crossing the streets or driving to the market.
Also be warned! There is a high burglary rate near the residential areas. My car has been broken into twice and I don’t even own anything of value or appear to have anything. It sucks that people are such selfish morons. I have filed police reports and never heard back from the cops. I wish they would actually be doing their jobs, broke less traffic rules and patrolled more residential areas at night for thieves.
If you see any suspicious people walking around at night, I suggest you take action. Show that they are being watched by the neighborhood, turn on front porch lights, warn any neighbors, keep a look out on who is roaming near your homes. The cops of diamond bar are too focused on parking tickets and less on the crimes happening in this area, so watch your own backs. The police of diamond bar won’t protect you or your stuff.

Talk about poor judgment on the sheriff who gave me a fix it ticket last night. I asked him why he pulled me over and he said because my windows are too dark. I replied, they are? They aren’t THAT dark. His reply was, I’m going to give you a ticket because you’re arguing with with me. THEN WHY DID YOU PULL ME OVER!!! If he I would have not said anything, I don’t think he would have given me a ticket.

Careful driving around Walnut, as if all the bad drivers isn’t enough we have an African American Motorcycle cop who seems like he is on a constant mission to beat the number of driving tickets he gave out the previous month! Yet he fails over and over to pull over the OBVIOUS bad Asian drivers who are the REAL danger, not John Doe driving 5 mph past the limit! Not sure if he’s sick of dealing with them or what, but if u look American and do ONE Minor mistake even if no ones around for it to be of any danger… bam! Your next paycheck is his! lol and Officer Lee. watch for that dishonest cop. He’s either a liar or incompetent, either way I have very little respect for that clown. I’ve lived here for 20 years and these are my only 2 complaints. :)

Had to visit a friend who got put in for the weekend. It was my first time having to visit someone, and some of workers were very annoyed that I wasn’t familiar with the process. What could have been a 10min trip, lasted up to 40min. As much as I wanted to give this place 1 star, there were some genuinely kind people on staff.

Went to file a police report for lost/​stolen passport. The officer there worked 7 am on Tuesday June 16^th, 2015 wasn’t very helpful. He told me they don’t do the report and asked me to go to the consulate. That’s the whole point why I was there to report a loss so I can go to the consulate to apply for a new one. The consulate would need an incident report! He said a report would cost taxpayers money $ 200/​report. WTF! I pay a lot of property taxes each year to the county and that money probably helps paying his salary too! This is how you serve??? Just lazy and wanted to steer people away from simple things. Your job is to protect and to serve and that’s why you are getting paid $ 10,000/month! We didn’t pay taxes so much each year so you can enjoy your dunkin donuts and do nothing! So disappointed! Went to another city police department and they were more a lot helpful and got it done for me right away.

The guys and ladies here are so nice and helpful! Easy to talk to and don’t talk down to you. They were very helpful with my situation!
