Came in for an oil change and was done in 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick oil change on a budget. I will be coming back.

First time taking my suv here for a strut/​shock replacement/​redo job (because firestone on Nogales/​amar f#ckd up). They knew my situation and took care of it in a professional and timely (I don’t care how long mechanics take, as long as they do it right) manner. Rudy, funny a$s and friendly guy. Angel, staright up mechanic professional. Victor, super nice and friendly owner. They don’t bulls! t here. They get the job done. They’re my new go-​to shop.

I love, love, love coming here! My dad has been coming here for years and he has always spoken so highly of the service and honesty he has received here. I started bringing my car and I don’t trust anyone more with my car than I trust Venegas. They take care of my car so well and are always so honest of what maintenance I need. I now have introduced my friends and other family members to Venegas and they are always so impressed and of the service they receive!!!

I needed to inspect my front brakes went back to venegas gentleman named rudy show me how rotors and brakes were low. He order parts for my truck and gave a good price and finished within time he gave me. Im impressed that for now on i will be going there for my oil changes and whatever needs fixing thnks Fredy, Rudy and team for a great job. One more note they are really friendly and courteous people.

My 2000 Camry with over 200,000 miles was due for regular servicing. Since my previous mechanic moved further away I needed to find a good shop and close. I found Venegas near me through Unilocal, and with 5 stars I thought I’d try them. Greeted by Victor, he explained what it was due for and left it in their hands. I got a call from Victor recommending a couple of things which made sense and agreed to add them. When I picked it up Victor explained all they did and had only one recommendation for the next service. All the workers are friendly, Freddie was very helpful also. I do recommend this place and will probably return with my other vehicle. Great experience on my 1^st visit.

I’m from San Diego and I’ve been looking for a mechanic in the area. I went here on a recommendation and have never looked back. The team at Venegas is extremely helpful, honest and would never do anything to try and deceive you. Their work is excellent and the turn around is extremely fast. These guys are the real deal. You know your car is in good hands when you bring it to these guys.
It was time to get my timing belt and water pump replaced on my Eclipse 4G. Bought my timing belt and water pump replacement parts for my Eclipse 4G and called these guys up. Told me to buy the kit (which has both timing belt and water pump) which I did buy before calling them. So I take my car to them on a Saturday at 9:00 A. M (they close at 3) and they took my car in right away. Told me that it should be done by 3, usually takes 2 – 4 hours because my type of engine as I have the GT model. Called at 12:00 P. M and the guy said my car was ready to go. I was like «Damn that was fast lol»
So I go there and went to pay. The cashier complimented my car Even told me they checked all my fluids, car runs great. Said I was good to go.
Taking both my cars and my families cars for fixes/​mods (they do exhaust systems as well) here from now on. Don’t go anywhere else!

As a woman it’s really difficult to find a mechanic who’ll be honest with you and not try to swindle you for more money.
The guys at Venegas are good guys. They don’t try to get you to have more stuff done on your car like most auto repair shops. Their prices are fair and they’ll give you a complete breakdown of what they did on your car when it’s finished.
I came here a while back for my brakes and just recently for my transmission. My brakes were around $ 130 and transmission $ 85. Both times, I left knowing my car was in good hands. After the service was done on my car, they would explain what they did and how that part of the car works, etc. and as a woman, it’s reassuring to know that they’ll answer whatever questions you have about your car and you’ll get an honest answer.
If you need a new mechanic, this is where to go! Fair prices, honest guys & good work!

I’m back again with more problems from my poor car. So I’ve been having check engine issues, with crazy light going on and off. Some other mechanic «fixed» it just turning off the light…
At Venegas though, they’ll actually take the time to both isolate the actual problem, fix it, and even explain what happened. And won’t just turn off your light as a band aid fix… Guys at Venegas are honest mechanics, and the only place in town I’d go to get my car fixed!!!

My fiancés truck had a tire blow out which lead to other mechanical problems. We were reffered here by a friend since I had no idea who to go to. The staff was extremely friendly and fixed the problem as quickly as possible. They ordered the needed parts and didnt over charge us. Would definitely recommend :)

I brought my white Ford F150 in and thought it was a transmission problem. They troubleshooted everything and found out that it was only the wiring. They fixed it very fast, very well, and very affordable. Great nice people, awesome awesome work.

Victor and his crew at Venegas auto have been my mechanic for the last 10 years and have been my moms mechanics for the last few decades. I trust them and would recommend them to everyone. They’ve done everything from towing my car, breaks, starters, batteries, ignitions and replacing the clutch for me. I’ve had my boyfriend take his car there for some repairs as his mechanic was kind of far away and he was very impressed. He has been using them now for the last 2 – 3 years. Ive never felt like they tried to over charge me or push unnecessary repairs on me. These guys are AWESOME!!! TRUST WORTHY, GREAT SERVICE in a timely manner, and at a GREAT PRICE. If you’re looking for a great mechanic these are your guys!!!

I’m from NorCal, so all my mechanic friends are up there so I took my friend’s recommendation to go to this place.
The guys that work here are really good guys. I came in here for the first time for my brakes and it was around $ 150 – 170 (it was a while ago I can’t remember) for all my brakes. This was in comparison to my Acura dealer which was like $ 350 for front brakes only. Venegas is great for my college student budget!
The second time I went here was because my AC was having problems and they fixed at like a 50% price difference from what the other mechanics were offering. Also, it was months after I got my brakes done and they remembered me! I was so surprised.
Anyways if you don’t have a mechanic, go to these guys. If you do have a mechanic, go to these guys because they’re probably better (unless you’re related to one and get things done for free haha)

These guys are a good bunch of guys who have a variation of talents. These are now my mechanics and will recommend to any all my friends and family. They’re really honest and work hard to get you satisfied. If you have to wait for your car like I did make sure u bring your own food because the local restaurants in the area are few and gross.

David, Victor, and their team at Venegas are the best! They are honest, extremely reasonable in price, and they work on all different types of cars. A few years ago, they re-​welded my cracked header in my Toyota Matrix with a better, stronger weld than it had come with from the manufacturer, in a better location so that it would not crack again. This time, they saved me $ 1,000 to replace my two-​part catalytic converter and downstream O2 sensor.
Especially as a woman, it is very difficult to find honest, reasonable mechanics. I went to Venegas on a recommendation from Sears, and they have always been my breath of fresh air, especially as a college student on a limited income.
My boyfriend took auto-​shop in high school and is quite the craftsman and welder, but since his career transition into computers, he no longer has the tools to work on my car. When he took a look at the work that David from Venegas did, he knew that they were the real deal.
I have called around to other mechanics for price comparison, but there are none that even come close. At another mechanic, I had been quoted $ 1400 for the same cat and $ 300 for installation. At that rate, I had priced out buying a scooter and saving my money for a «new to me» car with fewer miles. Turns out, the major brand parts have a ton of overhead to cover, which is reflected in the outrageous price. The guys at Venegas took care of me for less than $ 800. I now live 40 miles away from Venegas, but I would rather tow my car there, because I would not take it anywhere else!
They will only sell you what you need, and will give you their honest opinion about how long each part will last, and how to keep your car running as long as possible. I plan on getting regular oil changes on mine and running her into the ground, and with their help, I’m confident I will :)

I just had my brakes replaced here and they did a great job. I called around to get quotes and they were by far the fairest. They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this auto service business and I’ve already told my family of the great service and deal I received.

Making all kindsa noises as I took him out.
Victor the chief surgeon took my little guy into surgery.
He was in surgery for about an hour.
I could hear a few noises from it’s faint heartbeat.
Then I heard banging, the dropping of instuments…
But alas the transplant took place…
Quietness filled the room, as I excitedly watched…
I was worried, but I knew he was in good hands,
Out, with the old feeble part, in with the new.
I was called over to see my little guy, who looked great.
I fired that baby up and heard the roar of the engine.
Varoooooom… and the new starter sounded great.
You didn’t think I was talking about a kid… did ya?

Excelent customer service great technician in david venegas, they will address any issues quickly and very proffesionaly, and will not give you a run around like other shops. Definatly bringing my car here again.

Probably the best care my car has had. Victor knows his stuff and he and his guys always deliver. Really solid individuals and have helped me solve problems other mechanics and shops have failed on over and over again.
After a bad string of mechanics who only seemed to cause more problems to my car Victor and his team were able to fix what others called an impossible to fix Check Engine Light due to an EGR problem. They got in there and got it done without costs of replacing my entire computer which others had suggested.
They’ve also taken care of front fender and rear bumper damage on my car through a partner shop of theirs and the results have been great quality with reasonable costs.
They’ve taken care of alternator issues caused by another mechanic’s carelessness and also fixed a host of small issues from a bad trunk latch to brake light issues.
The think I really like about this shop is that they will always give you a straight answer and good details on what the problem is. They love what they do and it shows. Other shops will give you vague answers and give you very little confidence that they know what’s really wrong. Victor usually knows what the problem is or will get to the bottom of it if he doesn’t.
Very rare to find people who love what they do and do it with a high degree of proficiency and am happy to have found Venegas.
