he is an awesome orthodontist, his staff is very welcoming and always make you feel at home. they explained the payment plans in detail and gave me many options. my son actually looks forward to going to his visits.

Still love this place. My first review was regarding my youngest daughter but more recently my oldest daughter just had her braces put on. The whole atmosphere of the office is inviting and… cute! Her braces were put on so quickly we thought it was going to take way longer than it did. We watched the information video and my daughter received her take home care bag and t-​shirt. About 2 days later Dr Tabata personally called my daughter and left a voicemail. Just telling her to ‘hang in there’ and if she needed anything to call the office. We thought it was the nicest thing ever. Dr Tabata genuinely cares about his patients. We look forward to our monthly visits.

I visited to consult for my invisalign appointment. Since then, I’ve returned many times and am in the middle of my treatment. I’m very satisfied with the medical care and also the customer service. I think it’s a great medical office.

I love Dr. Tabata and his staff. My son has braces with Dr. Tabata and the level of care and service we recieve is 5 diamond status. Great pricing and no one is a stranger. It’s like being in an office with Family!!! We fly from Dallas to California just because this is the greatest dentist in the world. I reccommend no other Orthodontist other than Dr. Tabata

Having finally saved enough money for braces, I asked my dentist if he knows anyone in particular for orthodontic care. He happily suggested that I visit Dr. Tabata as he did both his daughters’ braces. He gave me a slip with Dr. Tabata’s information and I made an appointment for a consultation. Getting an appointment wasn’t difficult at all as Jeanine was very easy to talk to and worked with my schedule. She got me the next available Saturday appointment.
Fast forward and I’m in the sitting area. I met with Shauna and she helped me fill out some forms as we waited for Dr. Tabata to assess my teeth. I was very self-​conscious about my teeth because of the severe crowding, but everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Tabata explained that although I had severe crowding, I have very beautiful teeth and with my facial structure, it wouldn’t be too difficult. He made notes of my teeth and once he had enough information about them, he told me that with the Damon Speed Braces, I would only have to wear my braces for 18 months. I was very pleased to hear this because I’ve visited numerous of offices and majority, if not all of the orthodontist estimated that it would take anywhere between 4 – 5 years! He explained the technology behind the Speed Braces that enables them to work faster than traditional braces. He answered all of my questions and when I had no more questions to ask, he left me with Shauna, who took over. She went through each of the three treatments: metal brackets, Damon brackets, and Invisilign. She explained that whether I choose metal or Damon brackets, the length of the procedure would be the same since the brackets don’t really come into play. The star of the show lies within the wires, the speed braces. The speed braces are two wires intertwined together and work more efficiently than a single wire. Additionally, the wires are heat activated, so, if you want to speed up the process even more, drink more hot beverages.
Dr. Tabata suggested that I take pictures of my teeth every week so I can see the progress. I’m so glad I did because the results are just remarkable. My teeth were severely crowded, and with just one week of the Damon speed braces, everything was starting to straighten out. In two months, my teeth are all aligned. By the third month, I no longer had an underbite. By my fourth month, everything was straightening out so much, there was only one more thing to do… Wait for my teeth to straighten out and make room for one teeth to move into place, or extract the bicuspid tooth to make room. After that’s done, it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out. The hard part will be over.
Before I forget, I did want to mention that Dr. Tabata’s pricing is very reasonable. The payment plans make it attainable. And if you ever break anything (a bracket, or a wore came loose), they’ll replace it for you free of charge! The retainers that you have to wear at the end of your treatment is included in the price, but if you lose your retainers, unfortunately they cannot cover that. A replacement will be $ 300. Other than that, you really can’t complain. The staff is nice and genuinely friendly. The doctor is amazing at what he does, and the results are AMAZING! I recommend visiting Dr. Tabata for all your ortho care.

I love Dr tabata! I’ve gone to both of his offices and the dr and his staff are ALWAYS helpful, knowledgable, and a great pleasure to be seen by.
Their offices are always cheerful, clean, and full of smiling staff and patients. I got my braces off today and I’m sad that my time spent seeing their offices are limited however I have a beautiful healthy smile after Dr tabata finished and so many people have noticed already! I can’t wait to smile at everyone! Thanks Dr tabata for the great work!

I’ve been checking out different orthodontist for myself and Dr. Tabata and his staff was great. They explained everything very well, broke down the payment plan, and was very quick on putting braces.
The other planes I’ve tried was horrible. One place the staff was just rude and I barely talked to the orthodontist. It seemed all they cared about was their money.
Another place seemed like they cared about me, the staff of as friendly and great but they wouldn’t tell me anything about payment. I had two appointments with them and still no payment plan or how much it would cost for braces. I felt like they wanted to trap me into staying with them and surprise me with an expensive cost for the braces.
If you want to know those places just ask and I’ll let you know.

After quitting Dr.Peng. We are in Dr. Dabata’s office now! I am glad to find him.
Everyone seems wonderfully friendly and helpful.
My son got a bag of dental care toy at first visit. He loves the hourglass for brushing.
He also got to spun the wheel and won a gift card to his favorite place!
Well, he didn’t won it but staff just switch it to his favorite place!

Overall the staff is amazing. I got my braces on April 1, 2014, & I’m 25 years old. They made me feel really comfortable with the idea of braces and being an adult. Shauna, the office manager, aka my new mother in law was amazingly welcoming. She kept it real when I wanted Lingual braces saying they cost more and they probably won’t be as effective as traditional braces which cost less, and I chose ceramic braces! Jayjay and Tabata are very very informative and they sure know what they are doing. I’m glad that I went here for my braces. It’s not a drag to come in here on my check ups, it’s always nice to see their faces!
Approximately 21 months 7 days till my braces come off. Yes, I’m counting down. You would too if you’re an adult with braces.

My entire family have all been taken care of by Dr. Tabata. He is a great guy that genuinely cares for his patients smiles. The staff is great and have been nothing but helpful, professional, courteous and caring.

Dr. Tabata is simply the best orthodontist out there. He is not only incredibly brilliant in his profession, but he also is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He genuinely cares for each and every patient and will go out of his way to make sure everyone’s needs are met.
The best thing about Dr. Tabata’s office is the culture. Everyone who works there is beyond kind. Shauna, the office manager, is absolutely hilarious and will make you feel like the most important person on the planet. Veronica is also one of the sweetest people in the world. Never have I found an office with people as friendly as the people at Dr. Tabata’s.

My daughter got her braces put on today. All office staff was amazing. They were very friendly & professional. The incentives they have for the kids to take care of their braces is great!!! This will be a long process & glad we were referred to a great orthodontist.

My son got his braces today and I can say: We are off to a great start! Everybody at Dr Tabata’s office were very friendly, accommodating and professional. I like how they take extra efforts (with a lot of special surprises) to make patients feel welcome and really look forward to (rather than dread) going back to the dentist. With orthodontics being a longterm treatment, it is very important that you trust and are comfortable with your orthodontist. And that’s exactly how we feel about Dr Tabata and his crew. 4, not 5 stars only because i’ve only been to the clinic total of 3 times.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Tabata to treat my TMD and he’s been great! He makes sure that I am healing well and not in pain. Dr. Kim is wonderful too, but I trust my TMJ to Dr. Tabata. The staff are wonderful and make you feel right at home as soon as you step into the office. Highly recommend!
