Originally, we were looking to settle in the Contra Costa area, but then changed our mind due to concerns with the long 680 commute. Kelly helped us find our perfect home in Livermore in November of 2012. It was a difficult market for buyers because all of the investors were buying the homes with all cash. If it wasn’t for Kelly’s commitment and her ability to advocate for us, we would have found our dream home.

We worked with Kelly last year as we were looking to buy a home in the East Bay. She was amazing to work with for so many reasons. We found her to be incredibly knowledgeable about the market in multiple East Bay towns, always providing comps and other necessary information to help us make informed decisions. In a market where inventory moves so quickly, she was very creative and agile, always doing whatever needed to be done ASAP to give us the best possible chance of getting the house we wanted. She alerted us immediately about new listings and homes before they went on the market and was very effective when it came time to negotiating the purchase. Kelly also provided extensive referrals from contractors to inspectors to electricians to gardeners (once we closed on the house) and was very sweet, fun and reassuring to work with. OVerall, I would describe her as extremely professional and always going above and beyond.

While the real estate market has been really heating up in the South Bay, Peninsula & SF, the state of affairs in the East Bay has unfortunately not been so kind for us. We bought our Walnut Creek house in 2010 and never imagined we were going to be selling just 2 years later. This however is what happens when you get promoted to a new job that forces you to relocate.
As advised by all our peers, we hit the market in the Spring when there supposedly is a surplus of buyers trying to make a Spring/​Summer move. The biggest mistake we made though was initially going with the wrong broker. We barely did any research and naively went with a local broker that was a friend of a friend… What a serious lapse in judgement on our part. This first agent ended up completely mispricing our house way too high and completely lost steam after the house did not sell in the first month. When her 3-​month contract termed, we could not wait to run away and find a new broker.
The 2^nd time around, we learned from our prior mistakes and really researched a whole host of top-​grossing Walnut Creek area brokers. Though we liked a few of them during the interview process, the one agent that truly shined from day 1 was Kelly Gargiulo of Keller Williams Realty. Kelly wowed us with her enthusiasm and organization from our very first meeting with her. Given her flexibility and how knowledgeable she was with the local market, we decided to list with her.
Through the entire selling process, Kelly essentially did everything she said she would. From extensive print & online advertising to key placement of signage on main roads, we felt she really did a good job of boosting the visibility of our property. Coupled with being available for Saturday & Sunday Open Houses as well as private showings, the foot traffic that came through our property was impressive. Kelly was also extremely responsible with providing email, text & live phone updates on the parties that were interested in the property.
Through Kelly’s dedication and hard work, we ended up successfully selling our house. She helped us find financial closure so that we could finally move on to the next chapter in life. And for this, we are forever grateful. Bottom line, whether you are selling or buying, you really cannot go wrong with Kelly Gargiulo guiding you through your real estate journey :)
