Since 1974 H & L Chem-​Dry has specialized in cleaning of carpets, rugs, upholstery, leather, tile/​stone and grout, and we don’t stop there. Outdoor tile/​stone patio areas, wall dividers, mattress /​sofa sleepers, and car interiors are also in the mix.

Along with regular maintenance of residential and commercial properties. H & L Chem-​Dry can restore carpets by removing otherwise permanent stains such as red dye, makeup, ink, nail polish, wax, rust, blood, water stains and odors caused by mold, mildew and and urine.

Once the textiles in the home or office have been professionally cleaned applying the appropriate protectant will guard your investment from future stains, soiling and sun fading.

We’ve used H & L for both carpet and upholstery cleaning and they were fantastic. They are very careful and respectful of your home and they do an amazing job. They take their time and answer any questions you may have about what they are going to do. They are also realistic about what they CAN do and what you can expect which is refreshing. With one of our couches they were not sure about the fabric and took the time to investigate and test before doing anything so they would not ruin the couch… and they didn’t! We will definitely use them again and again.

Have not decided re if the carpet is any cleaner than when I use regular cleaning. Will see tomorrow. However big disappoint was they came in am to clean and left at 1. Well it’s 9 pm and my carpets are still damp:(

My earlier review commented on how we have been long time customers of this firm. Updating an already Five-​Star review may seem somewhat pointless, but I felt compelled to do so. This firm not only does excellent work with a nearly-​moisture-​free process at a very reasonable price, they do so ethically and with great employees. (Think about this last point… these people are coming into your home — do you want the absolute lowest priced-​firm sending their employees to your home to look around?)
There are tons of carpet and upholstery cleaning services around, I know. I’m sure that many of them charge fairly and do good work. But if you are looking for those attributes AND working with a company that has the highest of ethics and great employees, try H&L Chem-​Dry next time. We did thirty years ago and could not be more pleased.

Yep — this team is very legit as many others have noted.
We just moved into our new home and the 2,000 sq feet of carpet was in «yucky» condition. After having spent 6 hours, Paul and team were able to restore our carpet to «like new» condition. The carpet was almost dry after 3 hours.
H&L was hard working, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with throughout the process.
We look forward to having them back next year.

Courteous, professional, prompt, tidy and very friendly. I would gladly recommend H&L to anyone I know needing a textile cleaned, though they do not do wood floors. Who knew you could clean a leather couch? I had no idea. It takes a lot of trust to let someone into your home and H&L has earned that trust hands down with consistent high quality of services and their excellent customer service..

This company was great to work with. I had a dark red couch with very noticeable wet dog oder and tricky fabric to clean. Both Autumn and Paul were very informative about the process and told me what to expect. Scheduling was a breeze, Paul showed up on time and was super personable. I am most pleased to report that the couch turned out great. Will definitely have back to do the rest of our carpets and furniture.

I am giving this company 4 stars because they are very nice and work hard. My carpet was really bad, I have a lot of dogs. They did the best they could. I must say they did remove the odor which was not easy. The only problem is that my stains pretty much came back. I don’t blame them. I believe there was just to much damage from the animals. I’m not sure if this is the best type of cleaning for really dirty carpets with years of dirt. However, for a good job, hard work, reliable people the get 5-​stars.

After thorough research on which carpet cleaning to use, I found H&L. Based on all these great reviews I decided to try their services out at our new home. Wow Autumn was so pleasant on the phone and scheduled us few weeks in advance. My wife was the one to deal with the team that came out to the house and her experience was fantastic. The guys showed up and were very knowledgable about the tiles and carpets, had also recommended products to clean the floors with as well as ways to prevent them from getting damaged. Very professional team! The pricing was also very reasonable and we will definitely be going back!

My hubby and I wanted to Chem dry our newly bought home which was 10 yrs old and pets lived home. Autumn was very accommodative and squeezed us in at once and she was very professional and took time to explain patiently and answered all of our questions promptly.
When Paul and Kyle came over to do the actual cleaning they were very courteous and gave us an honest opinion even after they started the initial work vacuming and setting up and doing the uv light that the pet urine was all over and it was best to have it changed if we could afford.
We really appreciate the honesty of Paul and they were truly great guys and genuine and experienced.
In future we have decided to use and will always use H &L alone for all our carpet needs

I live in a house with a total of three adults, two of which are male. When they come home from work they are usually wearing dirty shoes. Our carpets quickly started becoming dingey and discolored. I have had H & L Chem-​Dry come to our house twice in the last year and both times they have left the carpet looking brand new and plush again. The drying time is incredibly fast, only a couple of hours at most. I will always go to H & L for any floor cleaning needs. They are efficient, affordable and very prompt.

They came out and did a free estimate (and made sure that they could work on that particular couch). Then came out a few days later and cleaned the couch. Nick and Kyle cleaned our rugs, and they did the best, most thorough carpet cleaning that we’ve ever had done. They took the time to do it right and did a really excellent job, in addition to being just very nice and accommodating, easy to work with.
This is my first experience with them, and the value for the money makes it worthwhile for me to use them again. Couldn’t be happier.

H&L Chem-​Dry are terrific! They are attentive to customers when calling to schedule their services, returning calls promptly and flexible with appointment times. When Paul came out to clean the carpets and shower tile in our rental condo, I thought I had given him an impossible task. Amazingly, and with a lot of hard, hard work, he was able to take the grimy stains out and save an 11-​year old light beige colored carpet! And, he did an outstanding job cleaning the old tile in the shower and repairing the grout. It was worth every penny and saved me thousands by not having to replace the carpet or re-​tile the shower. They work hard, have great technique, and it shows in the results. Thanks!
