I’ve only been here twice now. The first time was two weeks ago. I came try this place out because my partner got his cut here from someone who’s name he couldn’t remember. I was SOLUCKY I found Cindy. Candy is the manager at this location. I have very tricky hair because I am Polynesian. I have cow licks and a flat crown. Cindy was able to create a crown and give me a more desirable head shape. This was my second time to see her and I already made another appointment for cut in three weeks after my Hawaii vacation. The best part is that it’s only $ 17!!! If you have issues with head shape please do yourself a favor and see Cindy!

Razia is the best! I get what I want every time. The only problem with giving her good reviews is that I’ll have to start booking appts. further in the future. When people try her, they will not be looking to go anywhere else. :-)

The worst haircut ever. I too was mortified after asking for just a trim, walked out with a bowl cut. One side was a good ¾ inch longer than the other. Looking for just a trim this man stylist ended up cutting off about 4 inches. It was so bad I asked to see his license. The owner tried to clean it up but how could you as it was an absolute mess My 10 year old son could have done a better job. Stay far away from this chop shop. Eek me thinks not is even too go for this place.

I’ve been a client at this location before great clips was even here! Just walked in for haircut, I was next in line. After ten minutes a woman walked in. She was immediately called up? I looked at the stylist and she saw that I was confused. She then informed me that the woman had checked in online and that she is automatically bumped to the top. I could have checked in online 5 times over if I knew I needed to… Bullshit! Never going back.

Mortified. Wanted bright red highlights, got burgundy, charged $ 105. Asked if I could come next day and fix, she tried and instead, highlighted new sections with the wrong color. My head has burgundy, brown and orange all over my head. The stylist said it was my fault, that it wasn’t orange, that«she told me» not to redo it and made me go outside in true light to prove it was red. It was orange. THEN instead of refunding my money, they charged me twice. Owner is driving from San Jose to refund my money because staff doesn’t know how. Kudos to those who are happy here, but I will never come back. Drove 30 minutes to get here too based on Unilocal reviews.

For starters I’m a male with long hair. I asked the guy cutting my hair to take a half inch off my hair, I was just looking for a trim to get the dead ends off. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out. He took around 3 – 4 inches off my hair. Very bad experience. I really wish I had looked at this page beforehand, got one of the female hairdressers’ names, and made an appointment with a female hairdresser since I have(had) kind of long hair.

Used Unilocal reviews to give this place a try and was very glad I did. Got an excellent haircut from a young man named Tran. Friendly staff. Clean shop. Recommend.

Peter does a good job with haircuts, the woman who seems to be the owner always seems to be a bit unfriendly

Amazing cut and color! I’m quite picky when it comes to my hair and Tracy, the owner, did an amazing job. I have long course wavy hair that some(most!) stylists cannot get right, but Tracy totally nailed it perfectly and I will be a long time customer! If you are picky like me and nervous about going to a new place, call Tracy and describe your hair, she’ll set you up with a stylist who will be able to do a very nice job. I went on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy with a variety of customers… men getting buz cuts, a woman getting a blowout(which looked great!) with both walk in’s and customers with appointments. My husband has been here twice now and really likes his cut. He prefers stylist to use scissors over the clippers. I’ll be taking my daughter(6) and son(2) there very soon — it’s great for the whole family! By the way, TJ Nail Salon two doors down is owned by the same family. I’ve been there for a mani/pedi and brow wax and I can also recommend them, so, treat yourself to all of the above!

Not too bad although they charged us 14 dollars for a 4 year old… not cheaper than other places…

John that cuts at this place is fantastic. I have paid a LOT more money at pricey trendy salons for mediocre haircuts. John at Great Cuts does great long layers on wavy hair. Best $ 20 I spend on my hair.

Peter helped me. Love him! I have curly hair and he knew how to cut it. I’ve had my hair done by others there, but Peter gets it. I couldn’t rave enough and gave him a fat tip. I haven’t had a bad hair day since he cut my hair. I hope he never leaves this place. He is precise so takes a bit longer than the other stylists, but well worth it.

First, you have to understand that this is a cheap haircut place, not a beauty salon. You have to expect to get what you pay for. This is where I get my hair cut. They are friendly and patient and helpful. The quality of the stylists is highly variable. Some may be better at certain styles. I am a guy and I wear my hair in a short, choppy cut. I have mound that Jenny always does a great job of rendering it for me when it has gotten a bit to shaggy. After a few bad experiences here I am sure to make an appointment with Jenny rather than just walk in.

My son got a nice haircut here & this is where we usually go for him. I decided to get my hair(my hair was almost near my butt) trimmed(4 – 5 inches off) w/slight layering for volume. I guess that was asking too much. It ended up being a choppy mess(another lady did it for me there before & it was fine). I’m going to grow it back out & hope for the best… ladies, spend your money elsewhere… basic cuts for guys, its’ okay.

WORST haircut ever! One star is way too much for this place I went in for a trim came out with a mullet. I had all same length hair that hit the shoulders. Wanted a trim with slight layering. After all said and done I had a rice bowl cut on top with long uneven layers going down to my shoulders. To top it off she used a razor down the front of each side to give it that«cant ever do a %$#@ thing with it» look. That’s what I get for cheating on my hairdresser while she’s unavailable. Great Clips on Oak Grove(near Starbucks) did a great job of trying to repair the damage. It will be a cold day in you know where before I ever step foot in that place again. If you want to «keep on looking like you looked when you left» look elsewhere for a haircut!

Went in with both kids(10&7) who both wanted a major change. They did a great job and the kids were pleased. I had one done too and I’m happy with the results. Good price too.

Great Cuts is clean, friendly and fast. No appointment required. They were great with the kids(5 yr old and 2.5 yr old) and made the experience very easy. Looking forward to going back.

I gotta give it to these guys… Extremely helpful and extremely patient. We came in here a few months back with 3 kids, all of whom had to get a haircut in addition to yours truly. Without an appointment, they were nevertheless able to help us out almost immediately and they did a great job giving the kids a trim. Of course, the kids then wanted purple in their hair so my wife and I, being the evil aunt and uncle, were more than happy to oblige! :) My haircut was also well executed. While I can’t say their stylists will do cutting edge work, they’ll cut your hair if that’s what you want.
