I go to Dr Felix for couple of years now, my wife had to go to dentist for couple of years and she didn’t because she was so unaware of how good Felix really is! All of our friends going to Felix we highly recommend him to anyone we love and care about. Dr. Felix is the best in the area.

Had dental crown procedure done, all completed in a timely manner, full explanations of what to expect, very pleasant and professional attitude from Dr. Kalman, his assistant, and his wife. Very recommended!

Felix and his wife treated me and my husband awhile ago. They were great. I highly recommend.

I have been coming to Dr Felix for years now and never thought to write a review… I recommend this Dentist very much! The crew there is great. Lina at the front desk is lovely and always there and willing to help whenever there is an emergency or we need argent care. The pricing is very fair and great service. Very professional and clean.

Dr Kalman was my dentist for a few years. I had visited a dentist that said I had seven cavities, I came to Dr. Kalman he said I had none, and that one minor thing he’d keep an eye on.
Since then he’s provided solid dental work.
I had a root canal, it got infected and I had to have it get reworked on. I can’t attribute that to negligence on his part though, but it did happen under his watch… My teeth are fine now
Aside from that, I’m sad that I have to switch dentists due to my new insurance. I am checking out «Smile Care on 1851 Sutter’ and the Unilocal reviews are extremely bad.
Based on that, I thought I should recommend a good dentist to balance out all the bad dentists getting called out.
Dr Kalman I’d recommend.

My kids and I have been seeing Dr. Kalman for about 10 years now and would not go elsewhere! His calm demeanor makes my kids feel comfortable and even looking forward to the visits. He is a true professional! The staff is friendly and professional as well. The office is pleasant and always clean and welcoming. I can’t think of a negative thing to say about this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This doctor is an Artist!!! He started a treatment for my husband and I couldn’t even tell that my husband had 3 implants put in his mouth in addition to bone and gum!!!
Dr. Kalman preform all this work in less then 2 mounts, and only few pain killers were needed. Well done job! And the price is very reasonable (he competed prices).
It also go to know that this doctor does it all, meaning you do not have to bounce between dentists for variety of treatments. And. The service is excellent.

Unilocal can be useful, but also can be a place for angry people to go and vent their life’s frustrations. I have been under Dr. Kalman’s care for years. Some of the entries are so far from my experiences over those years. I have consistently found him to be very professional, has a gentle touch and is very caring. His staff has also been kind and professional. As long as my dental plans allows, I will continue to be treated by this very fine and competent dentist.

Dr. Kalman saved my mouth. I really don’t think these other reviews sound real. There is no way the people in this office would yell out or snicker at a patient as one reviewer stated and there is no way there would be blood all over the place as another person stated. This is the best dentist I have ever had. My wife and I have moved to Mountain View, Emeryville and now San Mateo and have kept him despite the long drive. I have a mouth full of his crowns and bridges and never any pain or problem and my mouth was a disaster when I finally got to him. The only minus is he has no laughing gas but other than that he is a master technician. Highly Highly satisfied with his work and his office team.

Where did my positive feedback go? Anyway, I took my mom to the doctor to get her dentures done. She was very happy with the attention she received at this office and said that she was impresses with how diligent Dr. Kalman was. He exceeded her expectations!!! She went back a few times for the adjustment, and he made it all perfect and spend as long as it took to make her happy.

NOT FOR KIDS! I spent more then 3 hours with my son 7 years old. Yes, he was crying, but looks there was a surprise for personal that kids afraid dentists. There no child books, toys, even TV set in the office. Neither personal nor Dr can’t to talk with children! And then he said I can not help you, you need to go to a dentist who specializes in children. But my insurance search said that the doctor treats children. BTW another doctor helped us in 30 minutes!

After confirming with his receptionist that he could take my son, who is 6 years old, to fix a crown that came off she said yes no problem. After giving him a complete exam which he charged my insurance for he said I can not help you, you need to go to a dentist who specializes in children. You could not tell me this before you wasted 2 hours out of my day AND charged my insurance for this. I informed him that his receptionist said you could take him his response was well she is not a dentist… HELLO, isn’t she YOUR receptionist. Should she know what services you perform. This dentist just wants your money beware.

Wish I could give zero stars.
I found him and the office dishonest and seems to just try to extract as much $ out of me and my insurance as possible.
Says he did full xrays on me but when I switched offices, my new dentist laughed and said definitely not. He then charged me for a cleaning and billed my insurance for it. I believe the office to be a set of con artists.
Avoid this office.

Dr. Kalman is my Dentist !
He is very informative and isn’t pushy about adding on services or making you feel pressured to get extra stuff done.
They have the most up to date equipment and a very attentive staff.
I really enjoyed my visit there and would recommend it to anyone! I have so many issues with the dentist and don’t have the best teeth in the world… so to find an office with a staff that is professional and caring is a special thing to find.

Dr. Kalman is an awesome dentist!
I love that he does all the work. I have been to other places where you don’t see the «Dentist» much, Dr Kalman did ALL my work.
He made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit! Took his time to make sure everything was just right, not rushing to get me out.
Last year I had a root canal done by Dr. Kalman, which was nearly painless.
If you want an honest dentist, who actually cares Dr. Kalman’s office is the place to go!

Went to this dentist because he was in my insurance network. First appt for general cleaning, they had me wait in the chair for over 45 minutes. I asked several times how much longer it would be, and they rudely told me that it wouldn’t be much longer. I ended up walking out and asked to reschedule the appt. They acted like I was the one with a problem! Amazingly I went back, they took xrays and did a cleaning, which was okay.

Dr. Kalman is very professional and I really like the staff. As long as i live in the area i’ll always go to Dr. Kalman

I do not know how competent or skilled Dr. Kalman is in the technical aspects of dentistry. I only went to his office once and never came back. I was trying to be a good patient and follow all the instructions given to me, in spite of this, while doing my x-​rays they were yelling at me, rolling their eyes, and then snickering. Everyone has bad days, but if this is the way they treat someone in the first ten minutes, I don’t want to find out what happens once they are actually working on your teeth. I have talked to two other people who have gone to this dentist once and never returned for the same reason, disrespectful and unkind behavior.

I went to this dentist 4 times. The first time, things seemed ok. However, the second and third time, I was drilled for cavities. He failed to properly anesthesize? sp my mouth, and when the drill started, there was excruciating pain in my mouth and I yelled out in terror.
I wanted to give this guy a chance since he just started up. Last month I went for a routine dental cleaning. The tool that he used caused me so much pain and blood, that I have finally decided to never go back again.
