Established in 1993.

Fast Haul was founded around the time of the «Great Oakland Fire» in 1990. David Singer owner had just come to live with his brother in the Oakland Hills when the fire struck. There was a great need for junk remove & trash hauling everywhere. So Fast Haul was born.

Fast, polite, reliable, and unlike the craigslist haulers, they actually show up. My job was a tiny bit complicated, a little more like moving than simply hauling, and instead of hemming and hawing and asking for an additional fee, they simply did it, and did it carefully, protecting my wood floors. I absolutely recommend this company. Don’t waste your time on craigslist for this type of job, this company beat the craigslist bid by more than $ 25. Thank you Unilocal and fellow Unilocalers. We are so lucky to have a place to post our experiences with service companies of all types, especially those that you only rarely need to use.

Excellent Service. Showed up when they were supposed to. Very professional. They made sure everything was spelled out in a written contract so there were no surprises. The work consisted of concrete demo and removal of yard junk and debris. Those guys worked hard! Will probably hire again as I have some other junk that needs to be taken away.

I had a loveseat, soft, heavy table w/​4 chairs and an old pellet stove that i needed disposed of. I called Fast Haul at 9am and by 11am all the stuff was gone! I like the fact that they try to recycle wherever possible instead of just dumping stuff in the landfill. They were professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. I even got the Unilocal 10% off discount. I would definitely use them again.

We did a huge garage clean out and had more junk than expected. One phone call and that was it! Nam’s Dad answered the phone, made the appointment for the next day — Nam and his crew cleaned up all our stuff, loaded it and were off! And Nam came down on the original quote — what a good guy! We called an 800 number and got great service.

After another junk removal company I scheduled with failed to show — I booked an appointment online with Fast Haul and promptly received a confirmation back. Nam and his assistant came a little early and scouted out the pile I had in my driveway as well as some green trash in the backyard I needed removed. He quoted me a price and as they were starting to haul stuff into the truck, in passing he asked how I heard about their company (Google) and then mentioned how I was reading reviews about them on Unilocal and once he heard Unilocal he quickly offered to knock off $ 25 — much appreciated. Nam was very friendly and the 5 days it took for me to make the pile, they had loaded and swept up the debri in just under 1 hour! They were efficient and used their truck space wisely to get everything in as well as friendly. Will definitely use them again!
