This office has been in the same location since 1948. I joined this practice in 2014 and care for many patients that have been here since the original opening.

David N.

Business Owner

Dr. Nisenboym graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with minor degree in the Russian Language. Afterwards, he graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco in 2013. He then did a dental residency working on the Pascua Yaqui tribal reservation in Arizona where he gained experience in many general dental procedures including implant placement and sedation dentistry. Dr. Nisenboym also works as a faculty instructor at the UOP School of Dentistry.

I came to see Dr Nisenboym for a teeth cleaning and exam. He is amazing! I had been going to the same dentist in San Diego for years, but never was I treated as thoroughly as him. He educated me of my teeth grinding problem which I will be coming back to get fitted for a mouth guard. He also extracted a small extra tooth that has been bothering me for years, and I have no pain whatsoever. I also have no pain from the teeth cleaning like I used to experience in the past. I will definitely be coming back to him!

After breaking a molar the other day
David Nisenboym was able to see me very quickly. Best local in the mouth I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel a thing!
After cleaning up the mess of a tooth I had left he fit me for a crown. Dr. Nisenboym is very talented and does amazing work. I hope I don’t need this type of work again but if I did I would definitely see David Nisenboym.

My son who is a student at UC Berkeley was not able to see our family dentist during his winter break. I’m glad I found a good dentist in Walnut Creek which is pretty close to Berkeley. Apparently my son needed several fillings (probably drinking too much redbull while studying). I really appreciate Dr. Nisenboym working with my son’s work/​school schedule. My son was originally a little hesitant to see this young doctor because he’s been going to our family dentist for 10+years. But Dr. Nisenboym earned my son’s trust with his honest and calm demeanor and it helps that my son said there was no sensitivity or pain afterwards — that makes me a happy mother. While at school my son will definitely continue seeing Dr. Nisenboym.

My fiancé called Dr. Nisenboym after hours because my gums were swollen and I was in so much pain. I actually started getting a fever. Dr. Nisenboym was able to see us asap. He explained why my gums were swollen and I ended up needing a root canal. Throughout the whole time he made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I could tell I was in good hands. He actually made me smile a few times even though I was sick. I had to go again because my root canal needed to be finished. I met the staff and everyone was very friendly as well.
Before my experience with Dr. Nisenboym, I actually dreaded going to the dentist, I’ve had terrible dentists in the past. So I am very grateful to have an amazing dentist now. I really enjoyed being there and I seriously wouldn’t mind going back at all!

My family goes here and now I do too. Everybody is incredibly kind, and the dental care is amazing. I have an intense fear of dentists, and had procrastinated getting my teeth checked for about six years.
After one appointment with Dr. Nisenboym, I’m not scared at all in the slightest to come back. Everything that was going on (and is going to happen moving forward) was explained. He even answered questions about the equipment he uses! I appreciate the open and honest nature of this practice.

Very professional and competent. I needed an emergency root canal and Dr. N helped me immediately. He explained everything and fixed my pain. He is highly recommended and trustworthy!
