History
Established in 2003.
While my sister and I were working as waitresses at a local restaurant in uptown Wallingford, I noticed the building across the street was up for rent and decided to check it out. Ended up the rental agent was my Godfather; and knowing our history, he pushed for us to go through with this venture. You see, my sister and I grew up in the restaurant business because our father & his family owned a very well known restaurant in Wallingford for approximately 34 years, before it closed, by the name of Gaetano’s. Once the word got out that we were thinking of opening our own place, there was no turning back. That was 11 years ago and we are still going strong. I guess you can say that the restaurant business is and always has been in our blood. Anyone in this business knows how hard it can be but neither one of us can think of anything else we would rather do. I just wish our father was still here to see how we are doing and also because I always enjoyed any advise he had for us.

Business Owner
Started waitressing at 14 years old at my father’s family owned restaurant. When the restaurant closed, worked in the electronics field for approximately 9 years and then went back to waitressing at a busy local restaurant for around 10 years. Along with working at the restaurant, went back to school for court reporting and worked in that profession for approximately 5 years before opening my own restaurant. Married 32 years to my wonderful husband and I absolutely love Golden Retrievers. :)
