Inn At Blackberry Creek

we are always fan of B&B when we travel on vacation.
no doubt we love this one, hospitality is great. and we are first timer to WA, it’s been so nice to have breakfast inside w/​fireplace on. it’s in a quiet little neighborhood surrounded by things we love, all the greenery and little pond /​water next door. people there are wonderful as well. we thoroughly enjoy this one.

My husband and I stayed here back in August before attending the Gentlemen of the Road music festival. We were hoping for a nice place to stay before camping out the next few days, boy were we in for a treat!
We arrived to the Inn with a handwritten note on our bed welcoming us to the area and a HUGE basket of assorted chocolates. We stayed in the Renior suite (downstairs) and had a private balcony with a small two person hot tub, a giant king size bed and a huge walk in shower. The house was beautiful and perfect, down to the smallest detail. The kitchen was filled with treats and drinks AND they had a game and movie library upstairs.
The next morning we woke up to a spectacular breakfast and five star service, while sitting outside on the patio at our own private table.
This is by far one of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed at and we do plan on returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Inn at Blackberry Creek. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. They also drip with character. We love having breakfast while making new friends with other travelers. Breakfast was fabulous as well as great coffee. We will be back as we couldn’t possibly get to all the wineries in one trip.

Highly rated on several ratings sites, The Inn somehow managed to exceed our expectations. This was a mixture of classic charm with modern conveniences without sacrificing at all.
Beautiful grounds provided a great setting for our morning coffee while we were waiting on our choice of breakfast, including gluten free options, which was one of the reasons we chose this locale. The patio was perfect for the cool mornings and relaxing conversation prior to our day of wine tasting.
The rooms were very luxurious with comfortable beds, plenty of room for luggage and walking around, and all the modern conveniences you would expect in a high end hotel. The wifi had easy access and wide bandwidth that helped us plan our next day for visiting wineries.
Even with the higher price, the rooms were still a value when you consider breakfast is a part of the package and the central location to most places you wish to go.

We stayed at the Inn at Blackberry Creek while visiting the Walla Walla wine country. It’s a little ways from the downtown area, a bit more than a mile, so not quite walking distance from all the tasting rooms. The nice thing about the location was how quiet the neighborhood was at night.
Upon our arrival the innkeeper, Jen, gave us a tour of the beautiful 94 year old home and the surrounding property. The Inn sits on quite a bit of land complete with fruit trees, bushes (blackberry, what else), a creek and huge gorgeous trees. There are several sitting areas around the property, spread out enough so you wouldn’t encroach on another couple’s space and still enjoy the outdoors.
We stayed in the Monet room, upstairs. The suite was roomy, comfy and nicely decorated. The bed was quite comfortable with very soft bedding.
Jen graduated from the culinary program at the local college and certainly used her skills creating some pretty tasty breakfasts without going over the top.
Even though the distance from town is a little bit of a negative, the reality is the tasting rooms are scattered around town some much that the drive didn’t really matter. In fact, one day we used a car service (check out Freddy G’s Wine Tours & Taxi), so driving was a moot point.

Stayed here 3 nights in Renoir’s Studio the last week of May, 2014. We LOVED it! Breakfast was very good — fruit dish, pastries, and main dish — usually quiche without crust. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL — and the staff super nice. The weather was terrific too!

Absolutely the best B&B that we have stayed at. The house is beautiful and the good are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The Innkeepers Sue and Barbara are very focused on making your stay not only comfortable, but also memorable. The prices are extremely reasonable, but make reservation well in advance. This place books months in advance.

Inn at Blackberry Creek is definitely one of the most charming Bed & Breakfast’s I’ve stayed. The breakfast was scrumptious and the hostess Barbara very accommodating and nice. I highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful rooms in a beautiful city. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was great.

This was the best B&B experience we have had. Barbara provides all the little touches that make you feel pampered. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and reading and her breakfast was wonderful. Unless you really want to be in the middle of downtown, this is the place to stay.

Stayed here for a golf & wine weekend. It was a great place to stay. Breakfasts were delicious. The décor is lovely. The grounds are incredibly peaceful. The bed and the robes were very comfortable. I recommend the Renoir suite as it also offers a private jacuzzi out on the deck, under the trees. I would definitely stay here again.

We just booked our return trip here we loved it so much. Wonderful balance of hominess and comfort, this beautiful little B&B had everything we were looking for. A quiet location with wonderful views to sit and enjoy, delicious breakfast and coffee every morning, comfortable bed (we stayed in the room w/​the jacuzzi — well worth the extra $$) and a very friendly and knowledgable innkeeper. Every evening we would walk into town and have dinner at one of the many great restaurants, tour the wineries during the day. This was one of our favorite vacations in a long time and we can’t wait to go back.

The inn keeper Barbara couldn’t be nicer. Her breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are all really nice and not overdone like some B and Bs that have weird antiques everywhere. Nice bikes to ride around town.
Fun fancy coffee makers that are both regular and decaf to keep you going throughout the day, along with freshly baked cookies.

I really hesitated about writing this review only from the standpoint of me being selfish and not wanting the world to know about Barbara’s amazing bed and breakfast accommodations and her incredible breakfasts! Barbara is truly a gracious hostess making us feel very welcome upon our arrival. There are always fresh baked cookies, tea, coffee and even popcorn available if you are looking for a snack. There are 3 bedrooms available, each with a king sized bed and their own private bathroom. Each room also has a small gas fireplace. As a nice touch, Barbara has small refrigerators in each room stocked with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water. There is a cozy sitting area upstairs (where 2 of the 3 bedrooms are located) where you can read, play games (tons of games to choose from) or catch up on some work if need be. The downstairs bedroom off the living room has it’s own private hot tub for two! The living room’s fireplace invites you to curl up with a book or the Wine Spectator. The house is huge and situated on a large lot filled with beautiful trees and the creek. It was wonderful to wake up our first morning and find the ground covered with snow! Our morning was further enhanced upon arriving downstairs to Barbara’s breakfast. Each morning she had fresh baked pastries and a fruit cup waiting for us, along with a carafe of coffee. Along with a bunch of juices to choose from, she offers a simple breakfast menu (ranging from granola to a veggie sausage or a vegetable sauté, etc…) and each day we went with the daily egg dish… yum! This place is comfortable and every detail is well thought out.
