Hampton Inn

Nice couple of nights here. We had a ADA room so it was large. Good breakfast. Only complaint was they had no guest laundry facilities. Not much around hotel.

Stayed in a king suite. Room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower head had decent pressure, but wasn’t the greatest. Room was larger and less expensive than when we stayed at the Marcus Whitman. Breakfast was good, but slow to get a waffle. Staff was not very good about cleaning up empty spots or refilling items, but not horrible. Probably will stay here again, close to downtown and wineries, but not walking distance.

The staff member nick went above and beyond to accommodate our group! We went to walla walla for a bachelorette weekend getaway, come to find out our room didn’t have a fridge (which we needed for beverages and food we brought). When I asked nick if there was a room with a kitchenette available, he went out of his way to try and upgrade us. However, since we had booked through Expedia we were unable to upgrade. Later that night he personally brought up a fridge for us and hooked it up and gave us a Starbucks card apologizing for not being able to upgrade us! The room was a little cramped for 4 people (we got a 2 queen bed room) but was very clean and nice! Breakfast in the morning was delicious as well! Will definitely be back!

Lets start with the bed — so comfortable. The pillows are heavenly and the bathroom is so very nice. This is the cleanest hotel I have EVER stayed in. We arrived on Christmas day and it was very quite at the hotel. Hardly anyone there. Nice. The breakfast was really good and a very special treat of fresh cut strawberries and blueberries. Lots of choices to eat for breakfast and fresh apples and oranges out all day.
No question! You will enjoy a wonderful time at the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights for a business trip in the area last month and also last summer, and it was okay for a Hampton Inn. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and location was okay,
The reason I’m giving this three stars instead of four is because of the following two reasons:
1. Probably one of the worst hair dryers I have ever encountered at a hotel. I know I may sound petty, but I need a good hair dryer, and this thing had absolutely no power at all. Maybe it was faulty, but I don’t think so. If someone would have come in and blown on my hair it would have been the same result. Ladies — just keep that in mind if you stay here.
2. The person who checked me in was very courteous, and very nice (almost too nice), but I’ll gladly take that over the unprofessional woman (girl) who checked me out. She barely greeted me when I walked up to the front desk, was chewing gum (in an obvious enough way for me to notice), and looked like she had just gotten out of bed. Maybe she was filling in for a regular person who works there, or having a bad day, but have the common courtesy to greet someone who walks up to the front desk and DON’T CHEW GUM ON THE JOB.

Good option when visiting Walla Walla.
Nice breakfast, close to freeway but not too noisy, friendly staff, clean. What else do you want when traveling for work?

Based on the standardization of the brand, it took a lot for me to bring this down to 2 stars. Especially since I live in these places.
1. Two of the desk people were very sweet and pleasant. The one that worked the night of the 25^th of July was horrible. Rude and unhelpful to the worst degree. She ignored a little 4 foot tall old woman for over 5 minutes as she spoke on the phone with a friend. Then she told me to look up restaurants on the internet for suggestions.
2. The cleaning crews really like to bang things around. I had to work from my room and had to listen to bashing on the floor above, the walls next and on my door despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign.
3. The worst breakfast setup of any Hampton yet. Slimy pineapple! Lumpy oatmeal. Out of date yogurt.
Really a downer that will force me to fore go Hilton points on the next trip and try the Red Lion or Holiday Inn.

This review is based on the service, not hotel itself. We never ended up staying but had a very complicated reservation situation that was handled with utter professionalism by the manager Nate — I thought I should highlight as service seems to be dwindling these days. We look forward to staying here when we are in Walla Walla again.

Stay here 2 – 3 times a year. Nice clean pleasant rooms. Always we’ll stocked with amenities and breakfast is better than the usual «continental» hotel breakfast. Love staying here — will return.

Wow! What a nice place.
Very contemporary décor and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My daughter and I enjoyed the pool area and the salt water jacuzzi was awesome and unexpected.
Great rate, very friendly, very clean and contemporary and breakfast included.
What more can you ask for in a motel (sorry hotel)!

This is the best hotel for regular stay in Walla Walla, easily. Great rooms, people, breakfast, décor. Everything about it is top notch. I won’t stay anywhere else.

Consistent with every other Hampton Inn! Clean, neat, well laid out with a good free breakfast! It’s on the outskirts of town so you can’t walk to anything but it was quiet. Service was first class! Just wish there were some dining spots to walk to!

We had a very nice stay. Facility was extremely clean and free of cleaning supply odors that are found in so many similar hotels.
The staff were outstanding. Very friendly and professional.
Breakfast was sufficient. We were very impressed with the fresh citrus selection and with the «no hassle» shuttle service to the airport.
Our only disappointment was the pool and hot tub. We arrived at the pool area and the place was over run with local folks, both adults and more children than we could count. The water in both the pool and hot tub appeared so murky, it was difficult to see the bottom. Definitely a downer. When we mentioned this problem with the staff, they said this is an ongoing problem.
I recommend a card lock system to be installed on the pool area and more enforcement from staff members so that the guests can enjoy this hotel to the fullest.
We will visit again and look forward to enjoying the pool at that time.

I just had a great experience with the Hampton, and specifically the GM Jason Smith. I have stayed here before and planning a trip this weekend. I also had made a reservation for a friend who had a medical emergency so I was trying to cancel the reservation that I made for her through a 3^rd party provider (don’t do this); I got the run around from this other entity for over 4 hours. Jason jumped in, called them worked the problem until I was able to get a refund. He really went above and beyond for a loyal guest. Thank You! Looking forward to a great visit this weekend.

I enjoyed the white, clean bedding smelling faintly of bleach. Nice, roomy, comfortable.

Brand new hotel with all the latest features that you expect. Fast wifi, free good breakfast, new workout equipment and clean as it gets. We got the suite for a few $$ more and it was worth it. The pullout sofa was very comfortable and the layout was perfect. A definite great value and a friendly staff to boot.

If you are looking for a nice, clean affordable hotel in a great location. This is your place. Great friendly service, nice rooms and easily accessible to the wineries.
