Pacific Powertrain and Machine was started out of a desire to help Waldport and the surrounding communities with their auto repair and metalworking needs.

Business Owner

I grew up in Waldport, rebuilding engines and fixing friend’s cars throughout middle and high school. During high school I took auto mechanics classes in Newport, then went away to college and got my A&P (mechanics license for aircraft), and a bachelor of science degree. After college I picked up a job as an aircraft subsystem engineer (my degree emphasis was in electronics), and after 8 years decided it was time to come home. I enjoy working on cars and had a desire to help my community so I started my own business; Pacific Powertrain and Machine.
