Sovereign Bank

Traveling to a third-​world country so I requested crisp bills so I don’t get any hassle when exchanging them — standard practice and certainly not hard to do with large bills. The teller acted terribly put out by my request. Then she sneered at my choice of vacation destination.
As soon as I return I plan to switch to a bank with less ignorant staff.

This bank has the best service around.

I joined Sovereign bank because I heard great things but after joining I have had nothing but problems with Sovereign. The Branch in Wakefield, MA is in the largest nicest building on Main st, yet they have the smallest staff the worst cusomer service and the worst hours of any bank in the area. They charged me 6 dollars just to pick up a duplicate copy of my last statement because the Sovereign website is so out dated you cannot print your statements or view them online. I have decided I hate Sovereign Bank and the people in the Wakefield branch need attitude adjustments the branch manager needs to have more tellers working and get an ATM in the lobby for god sakes.
Go to Eastern Bank or of Salem Five or a Credit Union stay away from Sovereign and also Citizens.
