Karlee & Dennis helped us out at the last minute when another company let us down and advised us they didn’t have the promised tables. They were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again. Unlike one other review, Dennis was helpful, cheerful, and a pleasure to talk with. His daughter took the time to meet with me and get everything ordered for an event coming up in 5 days!

Used Hawaii Tents and Events for our function. The set up was not done in a timely manner. Guests were arriving and set up was still being done. Numerous items were forgotten and brought to our function after it began. Unprofessional!

worst customer service ever. the guy dennis was really rude, heartless, nd quiet cocky if anything. i ended up going through another company to get my chairs nd tables!

My fiancé and I were amazed at the work Dennis put forth in our initial meeting. His customer service and efforts were top notch. He was able to gather information about us and help us build a design, letting us know that he will personalize it so it would really symbolize us. He used the computer to generate a 3D design of how our layout could potentially look and created two designs for us.
They close at 11:00 AM on Saturdays and our appointment was at 10:30 AM. There was never a moment that we felt rushed or cut-​off. Dennis took his time and great care in explaining and creating a great layout for our reception all while giving us great ideas (from his personal experience). He asked if we had more time for him to explain everything, and stayed with us until noon to demonstrate. We’re super excited to work with Hawaii Tents & Events to help us create our special day and are excited to see their work come to life!

While planning for the chairs/​tables rental for my recent small wedding, I was very pleased with the communication and service I received from Carly at Hawaii Tents and Events. Her communication with me was always prompt, friendly, and helpful.
I found the prices to be quite reasonable and they were very flexible with making changes to the contract in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
Toby, who delivered and picked up the chairs was friendly and hard-​working…
There was a miscommunication regarding the final billing but it was worked out to my satisfaction.
I would use Hawaii Tents and Events in the future.

Hawaii tents & events helped me with my bridal shower & wedding! They did an amazing job! I was so happy with the turn out of their finished product (: it was beautiful ! I had a pretty pink tent for my bridal shower and a huge white tent for my wedding !
With my experience in planning parties and my own wedding, vendors sometimes drop the ball l, but this vendor had beautiful tents, I’m glad I stuck with them. Carly was the one that helped me the most, she’s the best! Ask for her! She’s super friendly and had a lot of great ideas and advice !

I actually have not used this tent company, but I do research before I do business with businesses. Worse customer service over the phone.
Was looking into a tent package and came across their great price on the «Guava Package”(20×20,50chairs, 5 8’tables) for $ 160. Since the price was so great there was a catch. Pick it up and set up yourself. Basically I called and asked if it was possible to be charged a delivery and set up fee. Response, «Honey, no amount in the world would be possible for me to go and set up and deliver, not worth it. That’s why their priced cheap! No matter what, cannot.» I was stunned, a simple «No im sorry, that is not included and not offered with that package» would have been fine.
I’m sorry, I work in a field of customer service and that was plain rude. Who would tell a potential client something like that. Then again, no wonder, their located on Pupuole Street.

–She tried to jack up the price on some items after she quoted us lower prices previously then defended it by saying she was new.
–we asked her to make amendments to our quote and she somehow managed to forget something each time.
–she wouldn’t send us pictures of the equipment in a wedding environment when she said she would.
–we hired her as a day-​of wedding coordinator and that almost ruined our wedding. Family members missed our ceremony because the reception site wasn’t ready and they were setting up for us. The venue fined us because the site wasn’t cleared properly.
–She is not a wedding coordinator. Don’t let her convince you that she is. She promises the world and tells you to trust her then says she’s only obligated to do whats on the contract. If she didn’t say it in an email then it didn’t happen. Don’t make the mistake we did.
–oh and she refused our request for a refund for not doing her job by saying «let’s just agree to disagree.» even though we had over 10 family members claim they did jobs that she was suppose to have taken care of.

Great customer service and quick to respond/​follow up. A little pricey, but more professional than a lot of other companies. Danielle got back to me quickly.

Not sure why so many low ratings but I found this company to be good. We rented tables, chairs and a tent for our wedding at a beach house. Their customer service was great and they had good communication with us. They came on the scheduled delivery and pick up times. The staff was neat and efficient in putting up the tents. The only thing was the chairs were a bit dusty with dry dirt and we needed to wipe them. Overall I thought that they were good and would recommend them for your event.

We used Hawaii tents and events for our daughter’s first birthday and we felt that they offer a good product for a great price. We rented 4 tables and 30 chairs and were very pleased. The delivery cost was a little much so we elected to pick everything up ourselves, and this worked out just fine for us. They were very flexible, and pleasant to deal with.

Worst customer service ever! Very flakey and they never get back to you either by phone or email!
