Meet the Business Owner

MIchael D.

Business Owner

After opting out of the corporate world in 2001, Michael migrated to Maui and bought the building which houses the hostel and began his adventure in the hostel business. With a lot of hard work and a little luck too, Michael has built the business into the best hostel on Maui.

«I’ve always enjoyed traveling and staying in hostels was always a great part of the travel experience. It has always been a dream to operate a hostel of my own. Now I can welcome you to your home away from home!»

Be sure you say hello to him when staying at The Northshore Hostel on the beautiful island of Maui. Michael always enjoys meeting travelers.

We look forward to your visit,

Aloha!
