Dr. Marden is great, i would recommend him to anyone with skin issues! He’s helped clear up my skin in just 2 months! I missed my appointment this morning at 9:30, called in and let them know my appointment had slipped my mind and the receptionist was SO kind and got me in at 10:45 the same day! i normally don’t leave reviews on Unilocal but this office is so nice and so helpful that i thought it was necessary! thanks for everything pacific dermatology!

I was referred to Dr. Marden by a long time skin cancer patient of his who just raved about how great Dr. was. I was leary because of the enthusiasm my friend had. It seemed to good to be true. My fears were immediately set to rest from the moment I walked into the office to see numerous patients from all walks of life. To me that said the Dr. was experienced in all aspects of dermatology. Old, young, well to do, and no so well to do (my personal judgment of course but I trust myself. Lol). The staff were polite from the first call as well as when I arrived.
As a retired nurse who ran 2 different clinics and who ended up leaving the profession because of the anger I felt over insurance games, Dr egos and in the end the stress of feeling I wasn’t actually helping anyone, I find that I am very watchful of «front office, back office» and everything in between. I am more judgemental with my Dr’s visits. (I think I am a know it all! Hello! Have we met?!)
The most important part of my appointment was that I honestly can’t say enough about Dr. Marden’s bedside manner, ethical behavior and much needed explanations of what was going on with my body’s rebelling behavior. I learned a lot, was given choices, and felt the concern to detail that Dr. had for my health refreshing. I ended up being worried about the other patients wondering what might be taking so long, but was told that all patients were gone as it was lunch time. The Dr. was actually was working with me through his lunch hour! Who does that? I had my treatment and right before i was to leave told Dr. I had a small skin tag on my belly and we should make another appointment to remove it but before i knew it he whiped out a small wand and it was gone!
I highly recommend Dr. Marden to everyone for all your dermatology concerns and I am so very pleased to know that there are still Dr.‘s here on Maui who haven’t given up their passion of helping others! (Burnout, insurance hell, massive debt worries from malpractice coverage & school loans, and the heavy regulations placed upon Dr’s here in Hawaii)

I think most ppl think of dermatology as dealing rather mundane skin conditions and not much more. Dr. Marden actually is saving my life with a prompt diagnosis and treatment for an extremely rare and life-​threatening disease… He is an excellent Diagnostician and a caring, tirelessly working, accessable Dr.
I feel blessed and grateful to have him in my life during this health crisis.
The Disease is DERMATOMYOSITIS…
