Hampton Inn

I’m not sure if this is the one on Rt 73 next to the Library restaurant, but I stayed here for two nights while I was on a business trip. I was very pleased — my coworker and I got our own rooms with king sized beds (my pillows were too soft though). My room was very clean — loved the bathroom and the wooden floor. This hotel also had continental breakfast which was good. The front desk were really nice as well. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about was the wifi. It kept turning on and off for me. Also, they could add some free weights in their fitness center. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay here!

This is a decent hotel. I’m only giving this please bc the room service lady/​ladies are crooks! I stayed here for 5 days and the one day I got room service, they decided to steal about $ 5 worth of change I had on the night stand! Did they not think that I would notice that all the change was gone? Afterwards I checked all my other belongings to make sure I still had everything, which I did. I know it was on $ 5 but it’s the principle that matters to me! My advice to you would be not to stay here or if you have anything of value, take it with you when you leave the room!

My room was dirty and not well maintained. No amount of hospitality or good customer service would be able to overcome this.

This location was just ok… it is not one of the newer, updated hotels. The reception had a funky smell. It was a long walk to the elevators, which also smelled of sweaty feet.
The room itself was fair. The wireless internet was spotty at best… I just gave up after a couple tries to stay connected. The walk-​in shower (no tub) needs some maintenance as the caulking around the floor was flaking off.
The hot water also took a long time to get warmed up.
One other thing that does annoy me a little even if it is done out of good will… No need to call me after I’ve checked in to see if everything is ok. If there is something wrong, trust that I will tell you.

Came here for one night (~$ 130 after tax/​fees), and I have to say that everyone who works there are all a nice bunch. First off, if you’re a hilton gold or platinum member you can go up to the front desk at anytime for some basic refreshments including water, bottled tea, chips, candy, and chocolate. Besides that they always have coffee and an assortment of tea available for everyone ²⁴⁄₇. Cookies are also available for everyone in the evening. Yeah it’s all pretty basic stuff and nothing absurdly nice, but it’s appreciated nonetheless. Sometimes you can see cops just walk in and grab some coffee or free breakfast, so yeah it’s a pretty welcoming place. I had a bedroom with two queen size beds. Everything including the beds looked clean, and the restroom had the usual accommodations including plenty of towels and toiletries. There’s a TV, a small refrigerator which isn’t particularly cold, a closet with an ironing board and hangers, and a desk. Plenty of outlets everywhere, including ones which are simply USB for any device you may have. Breakfast is complimentary in the morning from 6am-​10am, but got to say that the breakfast is pretty subpar. It’s all obviously canned or processed stuff, but it got me going through the day so whatever. They also have a small gym which has hand towels, water, 4 aerobic machines (treadmills, elliptical, etc), and medicine balls. A pool is also available but only during the summer months I believe. Overall a pretty standard hotel, but with a very welcoming staff.

First off this is older hotel. Rooms are standard size with microwave and large bar refrigerator. Air-​conditioning is low tech that is controlled by a hot cold dial, not an actual thermostat. Carpet felt dirty. You could feel the soles of your feet getting dirty. I kept socks and shoes on. Bedspreads had slight stains on them. Otherwise rooms were somewhat clean.
Breakfast is included-​Standard instant oatmeal, cooked eggs, omelettes, french toast sticks, dry cereal, fresh fruit. Waffle maker also. The hotel was full but the staff tries to keep up with the breakfast rush.
When I checked in I was given a king room. I had requested a double bed room. Went back to the front desk. They said that there were no other rooms available. When I pressed the issue they finally gave me a double bed. Kudos for giving me a room but why make me ask for it and tell me none was available.
Overall I just didn’t feel it was up to Hampton Inn standards

Not sure if this was the one we stayed in — which was on Route 73 (next to The Library restaurant). We were there for a soccer tournament in a nearby town. The staff was exceedingly helpful — we arrived early and they went out of their way to accomodate an early check-​in. The room was very clean and came with a coffee maker — no fridge though (which would have been nice). There was a mini-​store in the lobby at which you could buy a wide assortment of items (from frozen foods to Alleve) that also had a microwave. Frankly, we got quite a bit of use from that mini store. During off hours (non-​breakfast hours) the kids (teenagers actually) were able to watch the World Cup on the large screen TV in the dining room — no problem for the staff. The manager was very professional, as were the front desk clerks. The hotel was clean, with attentive staff, decent breakfast (cheese omelettes, sausage, oatmeal with many optional toppings, cold cereal, yogurt, and a waffle maker). This is not normally the kind of hotel I would stay in for business or vacation — but I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised! BTW — my teenaged son commented that this hotel had the best WiFi he’d ever had in a hotel room — extremely high praise!

Very nice stay, staff is very friendly and room is also nice and clean. And very good part of stay is morning fresh made breakfast. Great stay experience!

I really enjoyed my recent stay here. The room was spacious and had a fridge and a microwave and a very large bathroom (I recently spent several weeks in S America and dealt with very small bathrooms so this was much appreciated).
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast was very good. There was a wide variety of food and all of it was fresh and appealing,

The good: Clean, complimentary breakfast, eay to find location, comfortable rooms.
The bad: overbooks easily and you might find yourself in a room different than the one you booked.
The great: Staff are amazing. Friendly, flirty, funny, and excellent at customer service.

I recently stayed here overnight while traveling for business. Like other Hampton Inns it was clean, updated & I enjoyed a good night’s rest. This Hampton Inn had a manger’s reception from 5−7pm with appetizers (wings & fries) and free wine and beer. Nice touch!

while not the swankiest, most luxurious hotels out there, this place is better than other «affordable» hotels. it provides the amenities you need at a fair price, and the staff here are super friendly and helpful.
the rooms are clean (carpet wasn’t as horribly dirty) and décor has been updated. overall, my stay here has been positive and pleasant.
p. s. to help save water/​energy, i usually leave the do-​not-​disturb sign to block the cleaning staff from coming in and replacing my towels/​linens. i came back today to find a bag of fresh towels and toiletries left outside my door along with a nice note. it’s the first time that has happened to me and a very thoughtful gesture.
